Curious southern right whale nudges paddleboarder in Argentina

- A rare encounter was caught on video at Puerto Madryn, Argentina when a southern rIght whale seemingly plays with a woman on a paddleboard and pushes the board gently forward, observing its movement as it swims directly beneath it. "They are rare moments, it is something that is prohibited," said Oscar Comes, a local water-sports tourism operator. "It isn't like you can go in a kayak, standup board, a boat, or whatever, to look for the animal."

Ha, gentle giant gave the paddleboarder a nudge as if it was stuck and needed assistance. It actually waved at her too. That's MAGICAL!!!

It's amazing how gentle it is, it has to take a lot of effort to be so gentle when it's that big. It's easy to see that the whale was very conscientious of how easily it could hurt or damage the woman on the paddleboard. What was going through its head? Whatever it was must have been kinder than what goes through the heads of many humans.
amazing it was so sweet, I couldnt agree more to be that gentle was a task and it achieved it stunningly well

I was tense enough with a curios seal in my kayak, but I in awe of the interaction. Fear and excitement usually go hand in hand.

I think she was piloting the drone, it comes with a screen to see what the camera is showing on the remote.

The whale probably went back and told the rest gee I had a whale of a time playing push a paddle board. It even came with a movable figurine though it didn’t move much!

it was the second time in kayak in her lifetime..a scary and beautiful moment at the same time..they trying to film with the phone..the drone is a photographer..he didnt know the women on kayak..( my family from Argentina are friends with the women on kayak)..

He or she was spending half the time controlling the drone, so while the video clip is awesome, they purposefully removed themselves from the moment.
