Keep It up guys! I watch all of your posts and you guys have a lot of heart and determination. I have a 2014 jku and thats what started me watching your channel. All of your trials and sometimes errors help me with my build. Im gonna cop me one of your hats here soon! PLEASE keep the videos coming
I'm really surprised you guys don't install a CB radio in your Jeeps... They are great fun and can come in handy in an emergency. I have an 8 ft tall antenna that I welded a weight on the tip of it so when I stop it bounces back and forth... Looks really cool!
Jeep owes you guys, I was not a fan of Jeeps until I saw ALL THESE VIDS, now I need a newer JK 4 door for the wife, grandsons, and myself to wheel around. I might even have to buy a new 2020 MOAB or RUBICON, and then mod it for sure. Thanks and PEACE!
My OCD was going crazy because you cut the large wholes unevenly on both sides of the hood. Even though they got covered up you can still see them from the underside when the hood is lifted open to service the Jeep. I would have taken the time to spray paint the nuts and bolts and the smaller drilled holes, just to help prevent rust. Also connecting a light on your licence plate bracket is a no brainer. Normally I thumbs up all your videos but I just thought you guys cut corners this time. The reason I love your videos is because you guys take the extra time to do things right, and mask things off, or properly prepare your surfaces and work areas, basically going that extra mile.
Build that Toyota up it can be a real good trail truck... Trail Gear will have everything for that truck. For the rockers are rusted out get 2 x 3 square tubing and just put that in as rock sliders.
That’s jeep o|||||o came a long way I would buy it but then again y’all deserve to keep it and drive it since y’all worked so hard on it🔥 great content been with y’all for a long time 👍🏻
The reason for cutting the entire section out is to eliminate any change of mud or water getting trapped between the louvre panel and the hood to prevent future rust problems. Once the louvre is installed it is very difficult to clean under the actual louvre slots. Do yourself a favor and cut at least a half inch around all of the louvre slots to prevent mud/water from sitting on the hood surface and creating a rust issue. There’s a reason for installation instructions. You should always follow them for the best results, even if you don’t understand why they want it that way.
3 dislikes? What's wrong with this people, how can someone dislike this video, or any other goonzquad video, this guys are super nice, respectful and they take their own time to entertain people, please don't hate.
I’m with jhovani I’ve followed you since about 5 months now! And I honestly love how you handled this TJ, in this episode I would’ve unmounted the hood to grind tho, but that’s just me, you did a great job all over!!! Cheers from Mexico!
Never considered owning/buying a TJ always a 4 door JK guy not even JL but I've been watching you guys for a long time and after seeing how nice this whole set up looks already, might have to consider it...
goonzquad I had one fail when I went through a car wash in my Ford Contour; which the alternator is wedged between the firewall and engine right next to the driveshaft. Friend of mine had a Jeep Cherokee that the alternator is on the bottom and he went through a deep puddle while wheeling and he ended up walking out and needing the jeep towed out.
Flan Gaming12 Need to keep the alternator covered as best you can. Where mine is is right in the wheel well area and the only way to keep it dry is make a splash shield in the wheel well and have it covered from underneath if possible.
what you did with that loo-ver-installation was to make little water/moist traps in all those places where you didn't cut out ... water and moist will get between the plate and the hood and slowly but surely eat it's way in ... a better way to do it had been to cut it all out as shown in the template then make litte shields/covers for the part you want to keep dry
Appreciate the videos, kinda sad that you didnt hook the wiring up for the plate.. You guys do excellent work.. but don't cut corners brotha,, one thing I appreciate about your work is your thorough attention to detail..Hook that light up! Great vid, thanks again Goonzquad!!!!!
I was thinking of getting that same good Louver for my car but I live in Oregon where it rains 300 days a year, but my car overheats when I sit so this will be perfect thank you guys!!
Sup Guys, Love the Build, well done, just a random question. but how does the spare wheel come off with that Numberplate Bracket? Thumbs up from South Africa
Hey..You guys ever see that Red Round Led Breaklite that goes under the Spare? I saw one lastnight on Rubicon and I thought about how good that would look on your jeep.
I like the hood louver.... and all in all..... a good looking rig... I’m sure you will have fun wheeling it. my 2010 is almost that same blue and I think I have decided to sell it....
I've never been a fan of these hood Louvers, although they look nice. I live in South Florida which is really hot, specially during summer, and I don't have heating problems with my jeep. Just do preventive maintenance and change your water pump and thermostat before it breaks-down.
hey guys just an fyi Kiddie had a recall on their extinguishers with the plastic handles as they had cases where the threads broke and sent all the pressure and chemical out the top of the extinguisher. you can call them and get a replacement. i'm pretty sure its free replacement too!
You guys able to make it out to Jeep beach jam in Panama City beach?? U guys should try to get out there tomarrow. You guys need to get a booth out there for next year.

Best part of the day is when you guys upload a video. Keep up the great work
Ernesto Munoz Thanks!!!!
This is one of the best looking jeep's I've seen please keep it

Man that Jeep just looks better and better every time!!!

Build that Toyota up it can be a real good trail truck... Trail Gear will have everything for that truck. For the rockers are rusted out get 2 x 3 square tubing and just put that in as rock sliders.
Kustom Ace Yea definitely will get that thing built soon, will probably just be a woods toy

Damn that thing is hot! You guys did an amazing job bringing it back to life!
this is my dream vehicle. love the color and love the build
Very Nice work Gentlemen! Ya'll should be Proud of the finished product!
Scott Fletcher Thank you, we are proud of the results so far!
End result looks great, as usual. I don't think I'd have the nerve to cut holes in a good hood. Well done sirs.
Line the tub with some raptor liner!
That’s jeep o|||||o came a long way I would buy it but then again y’all deserve to keep it and drive it since y’all worked so hard on it🔥 great content been with y’all for a long time 👍🏻
They actually make the impossible greetings from Germany
Have mine on my Jeep for over a year with no issues.
Next time lay a blanket or tarp over the motor while you're drilling so metal shavings don't get all over your engine bay. Looks good guys!

I’m with jhovani I’ve followed you since about 5 months now! And I honestly love how you handled this TJ, in this episode I would’ve unmounted the hood to grind tho, but that’s just me, you did a great job all over!!! Cheers from Mexico!
Probably this is implanted from you tube like bots ..!
Just installed one of these 2 days ago on my JK. I did the full cut outs since I'm in Phoenix.

God bless you and your job
Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo.
The more I see of this Rubi,the more I want a Jeep😍
Love this Jeep guys
Never considered owning/buying a TJ always a 4 door JK guy not even JL but I've been watching you guys for a long time and after seeing how nice this whole set up looks already, might have to consider it...
Aakash Nair I honestly like the TJ over any other model
Does the headlights not have the blinker function? If so, you could wire those up with the blinkers for more visibility.
Damn brothers i love your work, God bless you
Looks good guys.
Alternators are not waterproof. When they are in operation, water can destroy the internals by shorting it out.
Good thing we left it covered.
goonzquad

Hey..You guys ever see that Red Round Led Breaklite that goes under the Spare? I saw one lastnight on Rubicon and I thought about how good that would look on your jeep.
Tip: Use low-tack spray adhesive to keep templates in place.
Put a piece of tape around the drill bit to keep from banging up the paint on push through.
The Jeep is looking good yall
William Pinkerton thanks!
Send that Jeep down to Mississippi for me, I will take good care of it! Motorman in Da Magnolia! Semper Fi and Can Do Peace

goonzquad thats the plan. Gonna start with a new JL Rubicon
Ficou top o jipão!!
What paint is that, is there a specific color code or place I can get that sexy blue for my jeep
Looks mint
use tape where your going to cut it cuts down on scratching and helps with your paint
Love the blue on it
Please get your hands on a 4 door Jeep would love to see one
You should spray the weights on the spare wheel gloss black.
Looking good! Just FYI louvers rhymes with Hoovers.
I really want to know what rims and tires you guys used for the Jeep cuz I want to use the same for my 87 Ford F-150
Favorite build!
Ivan Zakharov awesome!
Nice job
Hey guys, make sure you check your state laws regarding the license plate. Some states require that the license plate be illuminated.
Love the jeep except the wedge at the front and the rammer, wouldve gotten a rammer thats more upwards rather than sticking out.
I've never been a fan of these hood Louvers, although they look nice. I live in South Florida which is really hot, specially during summer, and I don't have heating problems with my jeep. Just do preventive maintenance and change your water pump and thermostat before it breaks-down.
Awesome job! You guys should do the original Grand Cherokee next
Always love ur videos and team work ! Great job guys

You guys able to make it out to Jeep beach jam in Panama City beach?? U guys should try to get out there tomarrow. You guys need to get a booth out there for next year.
