The to be continued got me. What i love about this channel is that you don't do that and you post the way you do. By the way you got to throw a snorkel on one of these jeeps.
Been following you guys for a while now and I'm loving this channel! Also never looked at Jeeps....but seriously considering buying one now! All the love from South Africa
for real tho these kinda videos r hard to find from any other youtubers, not click bait titles, videos cut right to the point and no bs to just lengthen the videos and everything else. I actually enjoy watching the whole video. well done boys
This may have already been answered but the pitman arm is not Galvanized. Its gone through a hardening process. Steel can be 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or full hardened. So if you hear something like its half hard steel that doesn't mean its half of its original strength. The process of applying a galvanized coating to steel is for rust protection. Hope this helps.
It is so fun to watch you guys! The best part is you’re consistent with your videos, you publish one everyday almost 👍🏼 Continue at this paste and picture yourself in a year 🔥 only great stuff will happen!
Great stuff guys. Love your work. Please keep it up. But I (And maybe others) would love to know, how do the build budgets go, do they work out? It was great to see for the first Jeep. But maybe an update on your workshop budget would be cool as well. We dont care if it goes up or down. But would be nice to see it go up after each build. And the cost you are spending on new tools for the shop. Watching it all grow for you boys is great. Goes to show what good old fashion hard work can do for you. Keep it up. The only negative I have is.... I prefer it when you stick with the jeeps. 8)
I believe that braided wire attaches to a head bolt on the back to ground the engine, not the hood. That's how it is on my Jeep Cherokee. I would check it out.
If I remember correctly, I think that might be the ground wire to the engine block? I can’t remember whether it’s on the rear of the block or on the passenger side. Jeeps have grounding issues so make sure you guys connect them all up! -Christian from the Texas Hill Country
Future reference the pitman arm is made of case hardened steel that's why its hard to drill I like your vid though I also thought it was awesome to see 2 young people work for something other than taking the easy road good on you
I would double check this but the Power Steering fluid that is supposed to be used on TJ 03 and newer is ATF+4. Here is an exerpt from the 2003 TJ service manual: CAUTION: MOPAR ATF+4 is to be used in the power steering system. No other power steering or automatic transmission fluid is to be used in the system. Damage may result to the power steering pump and system if any other fluid is used, and do not overfill.
Are you going to put in some nice round LED headlights? like a JB speaker type? make sure to install a new fuel filter and air filter. Are you going to paint the grill the proper Blue colour?

Keep the stock pitman arm. You are gonna get bump steer from a drop pitman arm. It's not needed with your steering setup. Just saying from experience
