I like the longer videos because they have actual content. Often, a long video means watching someone look for a socket, find a rag, walk around, just wasting time to create viewing minutes. Appreciate these.

DEFINITELY longer, more in depth videos! I've got a '47 and a '51 Willys Truck, so this stuff is right up my ally. Also, anytime you can throw in info about parts interchangeability it's a huge plus in my book. This one video has answered several nagging questions I've had kicking around in the back of my head for a while now. Thanks for the added knowledge!

*- James your encyclopedic memory reminds me of the parts store owner who taught me what little auto mechanic knowledge I have.*
*- He could remember the part number of everything in his store and how much he paid for it thirty years ago.*
*- At 16 he timed and got started a giant custom designed marine engine with no timing marks and a 3 in fuel line for a wealthy vacationer on Bras d'Or Lake Nova Scotia whose batteries were almost dead.*
*- It started on the first crank. You would have liked him and he would have enjoyed you.*
*- After starting that engine, he left N.S., sailed a small boat to New England, and never went home again.*
*- His son secretly bought car insurance, rebuilt a car and got his license...and then left and became a submariner with the US Navy.*
*- I know this is a bizarre story to tell...but I hope you enjoy the independent spirit it speaks to.*

I like the longer videos. They are enlightening and fun to watch. I'm doing a '48 Studebaker M15A and I think you just showed me how to deal with the brakes. The replacement shoes come in just under 900.00 for one axle!! If I need wheel clinders and spring kits it totals more than 1200.00. So much for a cheap build!! I don't think the truck weighs much more than a mid-seventies 1/2 ton. Thanks for this tip and a lot more from past episodes. Interestingly, the square fender jeep was the first vehicle I learned to abuse while in the army.

Have watched a few of your videos and enjoyed them.

I love all your quirky projects And I’ve been a subscriber since about the 25,000 mark. But what makes your channel my favorite is your intelligent Rye & sarcastic humor! Reminds me of my grandfather who I miss dearly. I happily watch anything you upload! I am thrilled to see your channel growing. I prefer the longer stuff, but I believe from what I’ve seen of other channels, the algorithm rewards production.

I'm willing to wait for the longer videos, I enjoyed this differential tour, I know you're going to put a V8 in the one your starting to put together and nothing is likely to change your mind about that, it's been my experience that the 6 cylinder is the best of both worlds, more power than the 4-cylinder less weight than the 8 cylinder and better longevity with the drivetrain, I'm going enjoy watching you put the parts together either way, so thanks for this detailed video and I look forward to the next

It's a real treat to have videos such as this. We see some real progress. It's like visiting for a couple of days and helping with some CJ's. Without the effort. Shorter videos feel so commercialised and then the sponsorship deals start coming and we have o sit through testimonials no-one believes in. and the content is neither one thing nor the other. This video is another excellent video product that I subscribed to and have always enjoyed the quality of since that day. There have been some lengthy delays at times but a chance to review some earlier material from your channel is good too..
