It was sad to see the damage that was caused to the tree. I hope that you’re right and it will survive.

It was sad to see. We will have to keep our fingers crossed that it will grow back stronger than before.

It was very interesting to learn about the history of the tree. I hope that, in time, it is able to grow back again and recover.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. I think that everyone in Glasgow, and the surrounding area, hopes that the sycamore gets the chance to recover.

My heart did sink when I saw the photos online. I just hope that, as it is still rooted, it will survive

I saw the news on this and what a sad thing to happen. Think of the history that has happened after Mary and Darnley. I have driven past it a thousand times and always wondered how else it can be protected or what more could be done to look after it. I hope it has a bit of life back in it. Such a shame

I drove by it this afternoon and it was sad to see the damage in person. I do hope that it survives and continues to be a local beacon.

It will recover just needs time and to be left alone by the council.

It is a sycamore. They do seem to have the habit of growing back, even from stumps. I do agree. The council need to protect it, and let the tree to do its thing.
