    The photo of Robertsons jam works,and in front of that was Espidair street and the huts that you see were mostly for homing pidgoens (doo huts)

    Refreshing to see photos of Paisley back in the day. I'm not from Paisley, but can just about recognise some landmarks. The photo of Stevenson St, 5:40, as it scrolls down- was that a wee farm or smallholding back in the day? All demolished now, I guess....

    A lovely collection of Paisley and some of its inhabitants. I thought I knew Paisley well, I spent a lot of my life there as my aunt lived in Gartmore Road and later I was employed in the renovation of tge PCMS in the 1960s.

    I remember that white shed in the river cart pictures, I used to go fishing there when I was a kid ( no permit of course lol)

    My dad had the same camera bought on HP I belive
    with a letter of thanks from the shop for his loyal custom
    You would never get that these days.

    3 mins in states Gilm our st 65, but that’s probably 85 looking at the cars

      indeed. At 2:45, Lamberts cobbler suggests 1927- probo 1972. Great photos nonetheless....
