under the 1952 Dodge 3/4 T m37 truck again cleaning up years of dirt and grease.

I had to get under the truck to clean away the dirt and grease on the backing plate that has the adjustment bolts for moving the brake shoes in and out. They were so covered i couldn't see them at first. totally visible now. Also cleaned dirt and grease away from the rear end yoke. I am surprised it moved at all with all the dirt and grease packed around it.
Anyway another fun Sunday afternoon project.

This project has taken 8 months so far and will take 2 to 3 more months before it is running and driving.
I do just a little bit more everyday.

A lot of dirt and grease. I didnt show when I was working on the brake drum one spot had part of the shoe stuck like it rusted in place I was able to scrape it off and clean it with acetone. The drum had no grooves it it so just use some emeory cloth on.it and it's ready to go. I have new shoes coming Tuesday

And its not like you can let it go you need to adjust the brakes. Everything I do is necessary. Fixing wiring getting parts that are missing redoing the fuel system and now the brakes all necessary. Thanks for watching Matt

Yes it had to be done no two ways about that. and no its not snowing any longer temp was up to 52 degrees today. Thats a heat wave for us lol
