DAVE WE NEED SOMEMORE VIDEOS I HOPE YOUR WELL
Hello Dave I enjoyed all the videos on the M37 build. I noticed that it was a nova scotia plate on the truck.
I have a 1955 m37cnd completely restored original. We are in the Bridgrwater area and would be interested in visiting and talking about where to find parts and having a close up look at Chubb.
Watched again great build finally got me one but now have two lol got a 1996 chev 4x4 crew cab duelly at a $150 .00 got use as donater 454 motor 4l80 trans find me a single wheel 14 bolt any way i have started
Just finished watching the series and really enjoyed it. Learned a lot. You're a very handy guy Dave. So, when do you want me to drop off my M37 for a few mods? Enjoy your new toy. MM
Thanks! Haha. I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
Nice Work!! Did you fab the roof yourself?
Awesome series Dave! Was there much of a hassle going through insurance? Do you need a shop to certify your work?
Look forward to your next build. Thanks for taking the all the extra time to film, edit and post
Thanks! I didn't have any trouble with insurance or getting the shop to certify my work. Others might have a different experience in different parts of the world. I will likely get it assessed in the spring to better reflect the current value of the truck for insurance, as I'm sure that has changed! lol.
Good job on the build and your videos. I'm working on my own M37 resto-mod. Do you remember what radiator you used? It looks like a perfect fit in your grill.
Thanks! I used this 3 row radiator, DNA Motoring RA-NOVA62-3.
I have a 1951 m37 and a 1995 Ram 2500 4x4 12v both need work now I mite do this
THE 5.9 TURBOS ARE NOT
FUEL EFFICIENT.......THE ORIGINAL 5.9 NON TURBO
COULD GET UP TO 40 MPG...BUT MUCH SLOWER.
BUT I NEVER FELT I NEEDED TO GO FAST IN
A PICKUP.....
453 Detroit is better. Quicker throttle response (2 stroke) and a bit shorter.
Very nice! Молодец!
Are you happy with the 4.10 gears or would you go deeper if you were to do it again?
So far, no regrets on the 4.10 gears with the larger 37" tires. I don't think I would go any deeper- it would likely make my highway rpm too high. I'm thinking the engine could use a bit more power than stock, though!
What you think a fair price to buy one for as a project
That's a tough one, because there are many factors, rust being one- that is a major factor in its value.
@Dave Pepper found one for $1.500 but 9 hour round trip but only need body and paper any way thks for your time
Got two one $800.00 the other $1000.with a 1999 f250 4x4 rolling frame Dana 60 diffs thks again for your reply
