- Bit of an overdue update, but made some progress over these past couple of weeks. Had some trouble with my computer and video editing program which has delayed this video release.
I start with straightening the bumper, wire the headlights in, and then tear the panels off the front of the truck to get ready to paint them.
This is such a great project!!! .....thanks for posting your videos...
Thanks! Glad you like them!
this is a great build your doing a great job , take your time and do what you like
Thanks so much!
Nice job wish I had your knowledge and talent in Mechanics
Thank you sir, I appreciate it!
Excellent Dave!!
Thanks Ronnie! It has come a long way since the winter lol
Oh man that’s sweet. Also congratulations on getting the truck out of the undersized door
The windshield just clears the door frame!
@ min 23.34 The color pattern from light blue on top and the darker blue under was the exact same color pattern i had on my 1966 power wagon wm300. I always thought someone just painted over the factory dark blue but now i wonder because as i said it is absolutely the same as mine. Very interesting.
Coing along nicely. The devil is in the details, isn't he? 😎
You got that right!
Love it. Going to have some black highlights?
I might keep the bumpers black, or maybe paint it all one colour, I'm not sure yet!
@@DavePepperX maybe radiator and condenser black? The silver might wash out the wolf gray on the grill
That's a good idea! I'm gonna keep that in mind
Why not green for the paint :D
Switch it up a little bit with the grey lol
Dave, do you have an estimate on what this project cost so far? Regardless, it’s a great project!
I'd very roughly ballpark $30-35K on parts and trucks so far
