The handling is not that difficult, it’s the convincing talk that makes this trick so great. Especially the idee of a non-existing card is mindblowing.

This is easily equal to most any trick I've downloaded and paid for - as far as the effect. And far more thoroughly explained than most. Thanks for sharing. I'm still very much an amateur with my first 'non-family' performance coming at a small party next week. I wish I had stumbled across this earlier as none of the moves are at all difficult, and it could make a great ending trick for my routine. I'm actually pretty close to finishing up practicing a trick using your A.B.See product (which is simply beautiful and extremely clever), to try there as well.

Wow thanks Spidey, this is a fantastic trick and after I practice it for a few weeks it will become my go-to trick I think. At the moment Design for Laughter from the royal road and has been for over 20 years but this will either replace it as my go-to or at least work well alongside when they ask for another trick.

the visitor is my favorite trick... an old larry jennings effect. This uses a similar principal/method and is much quicker and easier. VERY COOL. THANK YOU. ADDITION! I left the comment after the performance PRIOR to the explanation. How funny.
Great trick and video. I made this the opening to my go-to impromptu routine (made up mostly of your stuff). I start with this trick, except when I fan the cards face up I say, "name any card you see, as long as it's the joker". Little humor there, but the reason is two fold. One, I've got a whole drawer of jokers so no sense in ruining a deck, and two, the "Joker", especially signed has greater magical powers. From here I go into your Jewel Heist trick (they already have their signed calling card). They ask "how do you do that", which I answer with "the signed joker is attracted to you, watch", as I go into a 4-stage ambitious card routine--each time their signed joker comes to the top. Then I explain the signed joker is not the only card with magical properties while I perform your trick involving the Ace, Two, and Three of spades, and of course, their signed joker will end up in their hand. Finally, I finish with a killer David Blaine trick (slightly modified) where I have the joker on top, they think its buried in the deck, I do a double lift to reveal a random card (say a two of clubs) turn it back over and hand them the joker (they think its the 2 of clubs) to hold between their thumb and index finger. I take the next top random card (actually the 2 of clubs) and I say "I'm going to attempt to slide this in and steal your card without you being able to tell." I make a quick jab (clearly not being successful) and ask "did I swap them out?" They, of course say "no". I say, "are you sure, what card to you have?" They say "the 2 of clubs." I say, "how can that be, I have the 2 of clubs" as I turn it over. "What card do you have?" When they turn it over and it's the signed joker, they tend to lose it at that point.
Thanks for showing us this impromptu trick. It’s simple, easy to do and sure baffles the laymen.

Alright, I spend half hour practicing this trick on my way back in the plane from vacation. Then I performed it 3 times to my family, they went nuts. And I do card tricks all the time. I did it one time without signing the card, and 2 times with the signing. With the signed card it's 1.000x more powerful.
Thanks again for this great trick, it's really a go to trick, it's easy, doesn't require a full deck, can be performed always. It's really really good in real life. Also because first they don't understand where the tricks is going. Al lot of times people know that you are going to find there card or whatever. But they don't know what's coming, which makes it even more powerful.
