In FIFA 18 I trained a 17 y/o central midfielder (CM) Julian Guttau, he had around a 52 rating and 60/65 potential. I took like 5/6 seasons with 3 training slots to train him to 84 rating. This is the best position to train bad young players to something special, in FIFA 19 it works as well. Oh yeah, every goalkeeper younger than 27 y/o are amazing training beasts, everyone can reach at least 78 rating, some even 82+ when you start early in their career.
I usually focusing on youth and signing players that are from the same countries as the teams are in. Right now I am bringing back Sunderland to PL, with only English, Scottish and players from Ireland and I will not sign anything else.

One of the best release clause players is Riqui Puig, CM from Barcelona. You can take him on a two year loan where he will grow 10-15 points if you train and play him. When the loan is over, buy him out of his contract for 4,9 million. At that point he's usually worth around 20 million.
You should definitely do the potential glitch, you can basically overcome the potential player for say, James Rodriguez, and form your own potential talents
If people start a new career mode, buy De Ligt, Lautaro Martinez and Angel Gomes immediately with both De Ligt and Lautaro having high potential of 88 and Gomes 87 all 3 are extremely cheap too
Hey man idk if you check your comments but one thing they need to fix is the training. There is a glitch I have and a lot of users have that when it says your players overall rating goes up the glitch makes it go right back down every single time. It makes it so extremely hard to train youth players and it’s extremely annoying and there’s no fix. I hope you see this if you do respond cuz that’d be cool.
To add to No.5: Train the stats on players that do not affect their overall. Potential only keeps the ovr in consideration, so they will keep growing naturally.
if anyone wants a good line up/bench for the future here are suggestions Andrey Lunin, Achraf Hakimi (better version or Marcelo and can play on both LB and RB), Jesus Vallejo (young version of Sergio Ramos and a beast), Javi Sanchez, Javi Hernandez, Sergio Reguilon, Sergio Lopez, Marcos Llorente (definitely a starter), Fede Valverde, Aleix Febas (can play well in any midfield position even LM and RM), Oscar Rodriguez (a beast playmaker the more he develops) Cristo Gonzales (beast playmaker/scorer the more he develops), Emre Mor, Ezequiel Barco, Borja Mayoral + Munir + Odegaard= one of the best attacking trios u will have and none of these players will cost u over 25M

You brought this up about a new player in career mode that I either never had or have been haven't used quite often. Mousa dembele was that player for me idk how or why but I'm great with being a young ST helped me. I use him with HamburgSV in Bundesliga 2 literally help promote me too Bundesliga and then UEFA champions league qualification.
If you're keen on having a team with players that have strong potential compared to the rest of their league, try Notts County in EFL 2. Bird, Campbell, Dunn, Patching and Husin are great prospects if you're attempting a Road to Glory
I try to pick up 28-30 year olds on a free and then stick a hefty release clause on them. There are always teams that are dumb enough to pay for them if they regularly play well and you can easily replace them with the money you bring in off their sale. If you're willing to just sell a player you should always push them for as much as you possibly can, if the deal falls through then another team will almost definitely come knocking after.
a good tip is to use the free agents, especially if you are playing in a lower tier league or a team that has very limited budget....the overalls of these players are decent for especially the lower leagues
4:14 in my wolves career mode, i signed ndidi (a player i have never used in career mode) as a back up center mid. Fast forward 3 seasons and he's my team captain and my personal favorite player in my team. Not to mention he bangs out an average of 15 goals a season across all competitions
7:22 when I first started playing fifa 19 managers mode I started using my youth Academy and i started to train only one player, that player had only 54 overall but I made him one of the best player in my career mode with a 93 overall
I made a 99 player to sell and no one wants to buy him and I upgraded a few players to 90-94 and no club wants to buy them even when I put them on the transfer market
4:20 I actually done that in my last CM. I signed Depay (yeah, I admit, I already signed hin in Fifa 13) mainly because he seemed like a decent striker with 5 star skills. He absolutely killed the league, he scored more goals than he got apps (in season 1) and additionally he got more than 20 assists (roundabout 40 to 60 scores every season). He outgrowd his potential easily without training and is by now my favorite player of fifa19. Such a goddamn beast.
#4 I signed Xaver Schlager, his long shots ability is way higher than the displayed figure. So are his defensive/offensive working rates, ball control and many other abilities. In short, he is strong in FIFA 19.
One thing I always fo is sign young goal keepers and use two training slots for them you can easily get a goalie from 60s to 80s in two seasons I do two goalies at a time and sell one of them and so on
Durkin from the USA is really good, and he is only 19/20 years old. He starts of 67 rated, but within 3 seasons at Plymouth Argyle, he is 76 rated with a potential of 84-87. Rating: 67 Potential: 84-87 Price: $2,000,000 - $3,000,000
The challenge I am currently doing is building a strong starting 11 with only youth players. I have not signed a player in 4 seasons. Youth is replacing the old. It's beautiful
I've tried using players i think are underrated irl on FIFA, like Sergio Romero and for an 80 rated GK, he does an excellent job. I'm an Arsenal fan BTW
I been doing this since fifa 12 lol but yeah i like signing under the radar players in weird positions like RB, LB, GK. LM. Strikers i usually get the best i can afford
I got a RB called Breno Fernandes his potential is 91 - 94 he's left footed and has a 3 star weak foot 👌thanks ea I'll totally play him as a RB instead of a LB
A good player to sign one or two seasons in is called Cristo Gonzalez he's young, plays for Real Madrid and is good at long shots just a suggestion for everyone (he only starts at 65 overall)
This comment is kind of late but there is a striker called Hiroki Abe in the J league and he reaches a potential of 85 and at 65 or 66 I don't remember. He basically is a Lamborghini with his pace and stamina
i always cheated on career mode like i save before i play or sim the game and if i lose i try it again i tried to play fair with WBA and I am doing pretty god actually

I bought him for Bayern for £3m and he's 24 rated 85 currently. 99 short passing and 96 long passing, can't argue with that
If you want to do a Eredivisie career use FC Emmen. This is there first season on the highest level in the Netherlands.
haha fc emmen meen je die😂
Yurru haha held
Emmen, Fortuna, Excelsior, De Graafschap. All kinds of teams that are not that great tbh.
To add to No.5:
Train the stats on players that do not affect their overall. Potential only keeps the ovr in consideration, so they will keep growing naturally.
Marvellous Nakamba
Tip 8 is by far the most OP....it makes the game massively easy and unrealistic
I got a 80 rated kangin Lee for 3 mil !!!crazy stuff !!!
I got a 83 Kang in Lee for 5 mil
if anyone wants a good line up/bench for the future here are suggestions
Andrey Lunin, Achraf Hakimi (better version or Marcelo and can play on both LB and RB), Jesus Vallejo (young version of Sergio Ramos and a beast), Javi Sanchez, Javi Hernandez, Sergio Reguilon, Sergio Lopez, Marcos Llorente (definitely a starter), Fede Valverde, Aleix Febas (can play well in any midfield position even LM and RM), Oscar Rodriguez (a beast playmaker the more he develops) Cristo Gonzales (beast playmaker/scorer the more he develops), Emre Mor, Ezequiel Barco, Borja Mayoral + Munir + Odegaard= one of the best attacking trios u will have and none of these players will cost u over 25M
That’s almost Real Madrid
If you want a good team to do a career mode with,Chose Valencia. A lot of money in the bank yet there aren’t so high expectations for you career.
I'm currently using them...

MLS is a good league, there’s 4 stadiums now
Two of them are Beckhams soccer school for scientology nonce arenas technically, the other two are just reclaimed apache land with walls around em
@@timmytime3448 nonce arenas?
If you're keen on having a team with players that have strong potential compared to the rest of their league, try Notts County in EFL 2. Bird, Campbell, Dunn, Patching and Husin are great prospects if you're attempting a Road to Glory
I have a Portsmouth career and a CAM called Kubo is my main motivation to carry on. Great player.
He is so similar to Phil foden
I try to pick up 28-30 year olds on a free and then stick a hefty release clause on them. There are always teams that are dumb enough to pay for them if they regularly play well and you can easily replace them with the money you bring in off their sale. If you're willing to just sell a player you should always push them for as much as you possibly can, if the deal falls through then another team will almost definitely come knocking after.
4:13 i signed a player named Håland in my career mode
Never heard about him, but it turned to be my best player in the entire team
Roy Keane has left the chat
Erling Braut Håland?
a good tip is to use the free agents, especially if you are playing in a lower tier league or a team that has very limited budget....the overalls of these players are decent for especially the lower leagues
Been doing the 1 year contract gtn ting and it's saved so much
4:14 in my wolves career mode, i signed ndidi (a player i have never used in career mode) as a back up center mid.
LOL love that disclaimer in the intro! Great Tips! I agree with all of them.
4:08 For me it's been Gerard Deulofeu, Brahim Diaz and Thorgan Hazard
I got Deulofeu to 88 OVR, Brahim to 90 and Thorgan Hazard to 89 somehow
I’m more of a PES fan, and i played a lot of master league, but your FIFA carrer mode videos are enjoyable!
There’s a really young left back for derby called Boyle if you sign him you could get a very high rated defender if you train him
Quaresma in FIFA 15. Started with 80 OVR and 80 POT and after 1 season his overall was 85. And he still getting better.
I made a 99 player to sell and no one wants to buy him and I upgraded a few players to 90-94 and no club wants to buy them even when I put them on the transfer market
Wind God trade them for the players you want.
There to expensive mate I tried it to
Too expensive, 85-88 is better
4:20
I actually done that in my last CM.
Alphonso Davies is my favourite youngster in career mode. Train him and play him like Robben, cut inside from RW and timed finesse
#4 I signed Xaver Schlager, his long shots ability is way higher than the displayed figure. So are his defensive/offensive working rates, ball control and many other abilities.
In short, he is strong in FIFA 19.
One thing I always fo is sign young goal keepers and use two training slots for them you can easily get a goalie from 60s to 80s in two seasons I do two goalies at a time and sell one of them and so on
Instead of playing Player mode I just create a player and put them on a team and play it on Manager mode so I can have my player but I won't get bored
Eden how do you do that ??
Unlike previous iterations of FIFA , if you can win consistently on Legendary that makes you an actual FIFA legend
Durkin from the USA is really good, and he is only 19/20 years old. He starts of 67 rated, but within 3 seasons at Plymouth Argyle, he is 76 rated with a potential of 84-87.
Rating: 67
Potential: 84-87
Price: $2,000,000 - $3,000,000
The challenge I am currently doing is building a strong starting 11 with only youth players. I have not signed a player in 4 seasons. Youth is replacing the old. It's beautiful
I've tried using players i think are underrated irl on FIFA, like Sergio Romero and for an 80 rated GK, he does an excellent job.
I'm an Arsenal fan BTW
I bought Sancho for €32.3m (valued in ~€60m) and Rashford for €58.1m (valued in +€90m) thanks to the release clause
Useing tip 7 works in fifa 18 aswell although he was 36 I got 81 rated Samuel Eto for 600,000 plus a 64 rated player
I did a Hanstock Rasta career mode once..it was actually fun...I didn't know there was a third tier german league
I dont have a pc/ps4/xbox or fifa 19 why am i even watching this
Last Fifa I got bored and decided to do a Young Boys career mode in the Swiss league and for me it was the best career mode I’ve done
Kubo another beauty. 16 Yr old with like 90 potential.
The Japanese kid
I trained alphonso davies until he is 89 rated
I been doing this since fifa 12 lol but yeah i like signing under the radar players in weird positions like RB, LB, GK. LM. Strikers i usually get the best i can afford
It used to be if for example if you tried to sign Ronaldo for Barcelona it would say he can't Join because the fans will not like him.
I got a RB called Breno Fernandes his potential is 91 - 94 he's left footed and has a 3 star weak foot
👌thanks ea I'll totally play him as a RB instead of a LB
2:36 'In Serie B, or the Italian second division.' It's the same thing 😂
Tip 4 is so real, I'm using Southampton and there's a young lad called Obafemi, he's become our rooney
Tip: Joao Carvalho from Nottingham Forest. I’m one season you can literally from 70-76
1. Release Clauses
Nintendo Switch players be like
👁💧👄💧👁
A man’s wife sees he crying and thinks it because the got divorced but really it’s beacuse they only have 4 slots in career mode. 😭😭😭😭
i always cheated on career mode like i save before i play or sim the game and if i lose i try it again
i tried to play fair with WBA and I am doing pretty god actually
There is a player called almada, he is around 76 rated LW/CAM and a potential of 88, after 1 solid season he then has potential to be special, for only around 11 million, he becomes the next Maradona fr
i bought sammy ameobi and he is almost my new favorite player in career mode (i play him in the midfield btw) thx for telling me what to do in fifa 19
The fact that signing players with contract expiring demotivates you if you are playing with a team wich starts at lower league
