Jordan Johnston The problem is, the minor objectives, such as Youth academy and Brand exposure, actually mean a lot to the board and could get you sacked.
In my career mode Man U had 5 Strikers that were rated 80-90 and they were still at the bottom of the league midseason. As soon as I played them I saw why, because they always let their youth player play at front (rating 72) and their right back was also a youth player. I checked these players stats and they played through the whole season not just against me. Fix your game ea.
In my career mode, Bakambu signed for Burnley (questionable transfer but alas) and he played 3 games all season and scored 4 goals but Burnley’s leading striker Luuk de Jong of all people, played 30+ games with 5 goals
In my career mode in FIFA 17, I got Rashford in a loan to buy deal. After 2 years, the loan was over and I won the Champions League. Rashford didn't want to sign with me tho, he preferred to stay with Manchester United, even though they had Kane, Griezmann, Dybala and Sterling on the same team (and they only played one of them each game). So he'd rather be the 4th option on United than being the starter on the team that just won the Champions.
I had the fucking same thing happen. I have a youth player only career mode and it said I had 27 (all my players) eligible players i could sell for a total of 5 million. I sold 6 for 12 million total. 0% progress.
agreed! make a £10m profit on youth players in 2 seasons.. to scout players good enough will cost you £6m and you'll then have to try and grow someone from a value of £500,000 to about £20m in a season and a half
@@kelvinsepp7461 yeh its pretty much impossible to progress aswell if you cant spend money on new players and you have to sell any good youth team players to can train up enough to be usefull

I dont know wy, but since years in CM the AI bench their topplayers basecly every game. I had a pro player carreer with ManU and the first and a half season i played with Romero in goal and De Gea only played in Carabao Cup... Same thing with other Starplayers like Kane & Messi, they always come from the bench and play maybe a third of the season. So there is the reason wy they show up in the scorerslist, because they dont get play time.
Right, just gonna point this out in case you haven't figured it out yet (hoping you actually read this comment). Loaning players is glitched, it's not that the player doesn't wan't to get loaned it's just the ea being stupid. BUT there is a fix: first add the player to the loan list (obv.), then when you get a loan offer either negotiate the loan or just straight up accept it. When you have accepted the offer, remove the player from the loan list and then add them to the transfer list 99% of the time players are gonna actually get loaned out. Obviously this fix isn't an excuse for the problem being here, but hopefully people who don't know of this fix will find this helpful.
This trick had always worked perfectly for me... until my team made the Premier League. And then all my loans (and transfers) were breaking down. The transfer list trick circumvents a sort-of all-loans-breaking-down bug, but it doesn't fix shitty players on premier league teams being suddenly too uppity for the lower leagues. I've wanted to scream at my players, "You're a goddamn 61 overall! You're not going to get an offer from another fucking Premier League team!"
players in the last 6 months of their contract, only having the option to pre-sign them for the next season. When Fifa first brought this feature in you could bid, and the bid could be low because the selling club would be willing to drop the value of the player
I think this goes along reason #2 but I have an 88-rated Jadon Sancho on my team and I rest him every now and then for like one or two matches yet he's like: *"BoSs, You ShOUlD seLL Me noW"*

Randomly came across this, the POTM is so unrealistic, In my season with Liverpool, Salah was injured and played one game the whole month and somehow won the award. When your managing Arsenal and they tell you to finish in a champions league position. You’re first game is home vs Man City- you understandably loose 1-0. You then play Chelsea and loose 2-1. You’re managing rating plummets to 71. FIFA ligic
First season of my Newcastle career mode I've had: Dummett, Ritchie, Hayden, Woodman (loan), Clark, Elliot and Murphy moving to Marseille, Lyon, Buenos Aires, Alanyaspor, Villarreal, Genk and Besiktas respectively, also had Colback moving to South America on my FIFA 18 save after I released him as he was continuously turning down clubs after I transfer listed them. Chelsea at home brought forward by four days because of an EFL Cup game scheduled for two days after the original date yet when Burnley drew in the FA Cup 5th round and the replay was scheduled for the night I was meant to play them in the PL, it was switched to two days after the Huddersfield game.

Played Manchester United in the FA cup and they had a youth player upfront checked there team sheet and they had lukaku, griezmann, Sanchez, martial, rashford and morata none of whom had played for then 3 games
The last point....Is something in terms of player morale and things of that nature that in any sports game that the AI doesn't have deal with. It's mostly a fifa issue, but if you have a squad just deep enough to rotate them (which you have to do with how jammed the schedule gets) You'll lose games because of simming because you couldn't physically start your best team or you're in desperate need of a few wins and the #3 CB who players every 3rd game get's pissy and wants sold because he's not playing enough to his liking. Meanwhile the 3rd string Striker who's 84 Rated on a team is apparently content with doing nothing and they won't take less than 55 mil to sell him.
In my career mode (my player), as a young American, started in MLS, transferred to a club in Denmark, than got a random loan offer (I never requested for a loan and they didn't put me on the loan list) from some club in Turkey. Also they offered me $10,000 a week. I was making under $2,000 a week in my 2 previous clubs. As for manager mode, they wanted 2 academy players to grow by 10 rating and I think play 10 games, but training them and growing them is almost impossible.
I agree with you about the objectives. Half of them don't even concern the senior manager like shirt sales, youth objectives and profits. The youth team objectives are for the youth team managers and the owners/directors handle the other financial side of things. Only domestic, continental and transfer objectives should apply to the senior manager IMO.
in my swedish career mode with Trelleborgs FF, the only clubs that came in with bids were from Argentina, US and Brazil. Very rarely any domestic clubs.
Three things: 1. When simming games being the away team is way too much of a handicap 2. If you sim a game at home in laliga for example with a team with much better players than a Barcelona or Real Madrid, you are very likely to lose, even though you know from scout reports etc that your team is much better 3. If random youth players can be generated, why can’t random managers be generated for each team without its real manager in the game. It’s so unimmersive when at least 5 teams in your league have the same manager...
You have a team in which all of your players on the pitch are rated over 85 you crushed the hardest team on your league and Europe, BUT, when you sim a game with the any team who plays for relegation you ended up being beating 10-0... realistic, very indeed
Career mode would be more interesting if morale and club prestige actually affected who joins and who goes, unhappy players shouldn't be signing new deals and Messi shouldn't be joining Macclesfield in League Two just because they can afford him.
Had a youth objective with Colchester United to make 13.5Million from youth team players in 1 season.... Plus only had the budget for a 2 star youth scout..... Great
If you get a loan offer for a player, you need to accept it and you need to immediately get them of your loanlist and then get them on the transferlist. This is how a lot of players get loaned out
Idk if it's just me but in every new career mode I start it's always Everton, Leicester, and Crystal Palace that are in the top 4 or top 6 and Man City in like the bottom half or mid table, every single time
Something else that's super unrealistic: because YA players are limited to around 20% of countries on earth, almost every pro footballer on earth will be from one of those countries after like, 13 seasons or something. This excludes countries like Senegal, Tunisia, Guinea, Costa Rica, Honduras, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, you name them; all countries that in real life actually deliver quite a lot of pro players.
Not only that but one more thing If u play in the player career and play and for a sacked up club the manager gives u an objective for example score at least 10 goals in 3 games how am I going to do that if the manager does not select me in the starting XI for like 6 games fix this EA
To point 8: In my Milan Carrier mode Lazio got relegated and then the next year they won the Serie B with fucking 112 Points, 115 goals scored and 21 conceded.
The loan system is a total screw up this year. You can only put in for players that are up for loan but the ai can ask to loan your players that aren't on the list
Points were better in Fifa 15. I won the league with 105 points, City was second with 101, then arsenal with 88. But recently it’s ridiculous, and teams underestimate Your team too much
why can’t you ever sign loan players yet other teams always deal in loans. sometimes you want to sign someone on loan but it says the club isn’t interested in loaning the player whilst they negotiate a loan deal with another club for the same player
Why is it that when a club comes to buy a player off you you can’t ask them for a player swap. I got offered £88M by Real Madrid for Rashford when I actually wanted around 25-30 + asensio but it just won’t let you ask for a player
Six months late, but this is why I went to FM and never went back. Don't regret it. If FIFA 20 has significant changes, I'll have something to think about.
Best scenario: Playing a 2nd tier team that expects promotion and league title, but also wants you to promote 3 youth players from the youth academy, develop them by 10 or more points and use them in 20 games. Excuse me, what? I'm trying to get promotion wrapped with a well mixed team! And ofc you get penalized for not managing horrendous demands
I can’t hear you over the sound of me signing Sane, Hazard, Depay, De Gea, Oblak, Sule, Verratti, Neymar, Mbappe and Romagnoli all free of charge under the Bosman rule even though I’m Tranmere Rovers and playing in my first season in the premier league after signing (also very good but slightly worse) players for 5 years back to back
I remember on ‘17 when RTG was hard. I did it with Morcambe and THAT WAS AMAZING. Now you can go to Macclesfield Town and win the prem in your 5th season.
In Fifa 18 career mode whenever I try to negotiate a player swap deal literally 80-90% of the time they want a left-back. Seems like there's a huge demand for left backs among the AI teams. Also I find you being beaten to the signature of big players by tiny teams. Like I tried to get Pulisic from Dortmund but Swansea got him! then I played Swansea and they didn't even play him! Fifa is so broken.
Chelsea losing in EUL at home against paok in career mode and fail to qualify from the group stage while in real life we just beat paok 4-0 and qualified with 2 games left
I don’t know why but everytime I play utd a youth academy player is always like “Boss, might I make a request. Of cource I don’t play him but everytime I play the match man utd is so bad the youth academy player would at least get a hat trick
I was playing Player career mode on FIFA 14. And after 6 seasons, our team had only one GK, who got injured. My manager played Leo Messi in the damn goal
Just finished a season where Harry Kane scored 13 goals. It’s like the top strikers just don’t fucking score, not at all 😆 Great last point though, on my last Fifa 17 save, United had Griezmann, Likaku, Icardi, Rashford, Rooney, Pogba, Dele Alli, Dier and Lingard. Ridiculous.
Ageing is so dumb in this game , like once a player plays well but is 29 they get downgrade and when you put mbappe on the reserves for the whole league he is 90 rated
Me:wins the league qualifies for champions league and signs young players to grow Board’s end of season of review: we’re not on track Me:why? Board:didn’t sell enough season tickets to the lads down the pub . Me:🤦♂️
With the youth one . They expect you to play the players and train them. They gain more growth playing games so if you play them all pre season and train them they should gain a few levels before the season even starts ... it is shit though stupid objective

I like the fact that you were taking about unrealistic things in FIFA and PSG won the CL
old spanish players also go to weird countries like germany and england
its really easy to loan out players, just negotiate the deal and do a 60-40 split on the wages and then it works nearly every time
something I figured out since Fifa 17 in Career mode for the PL. Manchester United seem to always be like top 3 or winning
in my swedish career mode with Trelleborgs FF, the only clubs that came in with bids were from Argentina, US and Brazil. Very rarely any domestic clubs.
Problems that PES 2013 didn't have. Seriously EA........
Three things:
1. When simming games being the away team is way too much of a handicap
2. If you sim a game at home in laliga for example with a team with much better players than a Barcelona or Real Madrid, you are very likely to lose, even though you know from scout reports etc that your team is much better
To go with what you said about the top scorers, Harry Kane won my golden boot in season 1 so all good so far but he won it with 18 goals, it’s a joje
I think that the Yo-Yo problem has a lot to do with how age is the only factor which makes a player’s stats drop
Career mode would be more interesting if morale and club prestige actually affected who joins and who goes, unhappy players shouldn't be signing new deals and Messi shouldn't be joining Macclesfield in League Two just because they can afford him.
In one of my career modes some guy from Gillingham won top scorer for the FA cup. It was at that moment I realized that the game is broken
This is how a lot of players get loaned out
You can choose big teams like Real Madrid,Manchester United and Juventus
Not only that but one more thing
If u play in the player career and play and for a sacked up club the manager gives u an objective for example score at least 10 goals in 3 games how am I going to do that if the manager does not select me in the starting XI for like 6 games fix this EA
But recently it’s ridiculous, and teams underestimate Your team too much
I had an objective when I had to play one of my youth players, who are 57 rated, 30% of the games in league one
why can’t you ever sign loan players yet other teams always deal in loans. sometimes you want to sign someone on loan but it says the club isn’t interested in loaning the player whilst they negotiate a loan deal with another club for the same player
I like how he makes these funny jokes about these points😂 “boss i want to get more GaMeTiMe!”🤣🤣🤣
I hate when players on a prospect, rotation or sporadic role complain even when you do treat them properly
I've seen Harry Kane multiple times scoring the most. But yea that's it
I could not play my 73 rated RB for one game and he says “boss you said I was crucial to the team I need to play more”
Chelsea losing in EUL at home against paok in career mode and fail to qualify from the group stage while in real life we just beat paok 4-0 and qualified with 2 games left
How about the youth players coming through with a potential of 92-95 and a pace of 50 that only goes up to 65 by the time they're 25 (wingers)
I don’t know why but everytime I play utd a youth academy player is always like “Boss, might I make a request. Of cource I don’t play him but everytime I play the match man utd is so bad the youth academy player would at least get a hat trick
I hate that my team with over 90 players in every position lose a sim games to teams like stoke for some reason consistently
I was playing Player career mode on FIFA 14. And after 6 seasons, our team had only one GK, who got injured. My manager played Leo Messi in the damn goal
Youth players should get better faster if you lone them, cause i see no sense for me to loan them out when i just can keep them and train them
They will never ever make drastick changes to career mode ea don’t make money from it which is sad career mode could be amazing
I’ve seen a 83 rated Will Hughes in the Championship with Derby
In my career mode, I started as the manager of Ajax and I had De Ligt's release clause triggered by Crystal Palace
Ridiculous.
fifa should stop make unhappy players accept new contract u not playing them but they still accept any new contract lol how funny
Ageing is so dumb in this game , like once a player plays well but is 29 they get downgrade and when you put mbappe on the reserves for the whole league he is 90 rated
the way the coaches from other club is never sacked ..they will be there for eternity..
5:15 LMAO we still got it on the Switch!
Cringy English Gamer yep
One thing I find unrealistic is sometimes when I sign players they will play worse then previously
I signed milinkovic-Savic on the deadline day and on September 1st he tore his acl in training and was out for 7 months
Me:wins the league qualifies for champions league and signs young players to grow
Board’s end of season of review: we’re not on track
Me:why?
Board:didn’t sell enough season tickets to the lads down the pub .
Me:🤦♂️
Yepp... top strikers rarely score in simmed matches... one time harry kane was all over my news feed for going 23 games without scoring
I made three scenarios and in all scenarios, chelsea signed Icardi, Man U signed marega, and Liverpool signed romangioli
In my career atletico got a 95 de Gea, a 92 Ederson and a 90 Leno and some more Goalkeepers.
With the youth one . They expect you to play the players and train them. They gain more growth playing games so if you play them all pre season and train them they should gain a few levels before the season even starts ... it is shit though stupid objective
