Yes he'll be on Legend's row one day Hardcore, and he'll hoist MANY Cups. The Leafs and the Oilers will
probably be Cup Finalists against each other for the next ten or so years. McDavid and Matthews will be
going up against each other for the Hart, the Richard and the Art Ross. Prolly the Lady Byng too.

I saw him in the World Cup and knew then that he was a highly talented player. But he blew everyone away with his play
when he started bulging twine for the Buds. He's not only a generational talent, he's a super-superstar. Up there with
Lemieux and Gilbert Perreault, Jagr as well. I've played coached and watched hockey for 57 years, and it says here
that The Phoenix Phenom will be one of the greats.

Not a generational talent, great player, but the word generational is used WAY too often

40 goals rookie year, only the second player to hit that milestone in over 20 years as a rookie. If you don't consider Ovechkin or Crosby Generational, then I guess Matthews isn't. Given that only OV has scored more goals in his rookie year, as an older player, I'd venture to say Matthews is a generational talent.
If Hyman was able to bury half the chances Matthews gifted to him on a silver platter, he would have had 80-85 points easily.
