Thank you so much, Maddie! Your video and check list is so helpful for Webflow beginners! I wish you that The Universe will return positive energy to you in double size!
This is so helpful, definitely using this in my next webflow build. It not only helps the designer/builder but also art directors to know we are working on things even though they don't see much progress.
Undoubtedly, this is the most generous explanation of the process. You should consider creating tutorials for Relume, as you possess a talent for describing concepts at our pace, providing abundant clarification.
I am starting my first client project in webflow, I cannot thank you enough for this video. Really appreciate your hardwork Maddie. Wish you with all the good things in life :)
So happy I found your channel, I've just started freelancing as a webflow designer and this checklist is insanely helpful! thank you for making it so detailed and easy to use.
Thank you for this video! There are a lot of tutorials on youtube and Webflow university for how to design and build in Figma and Webflow, but there is not a lot of great content on the web design process (especially for people who want to use Webflow over Wordpress). It would be great if you made a video that was more in depth on how you design websites for clients. Do you do UX research at all, or do you mostly design your website based around your clients' requirements?
Thank you very much for this video, I learned some new and important tips. Also your website is just madz 😀 it's so refreshing, I love it and it's very inspiring. So keep it up with the good work 🙌
I am just about to launch my own design agency in 2024. Being the typical right-brain designer I used to just design outside the lines, but now that I am going to be taking on larger clientele having a sense of structure makes perfect sense and it boasts professionalism. Thank you kindly for this.
This is SO incredibly helpful, thank you!!! I'm not currently doing any Webflow client work but have considered helping my current company with a new site and wasn't sure where to start, so this is great!! I also built my personal portfolio site over a year ago... I know that I messed up with some of the classes and such but wasn't sure exactly how to fix it. I'm planning to scrap the whole thing and redesign/build it soon, so this is AMAZING! Thank you so much for sharing and can't wait to see what else you do next! :)
Thanks Michelle! Yep, classes were a lot to wrap my head around at first. I redesigned many sites in my early years. Keep at it and I promise it will get easier and so worth it.
Amazing stuff! OMG!!! I’ve been wanting to officially get into Webflow and understanding proper processes before client handoffs, and I’m so glad I found your content. Love it! (P.S. it’s so refreshing to see a woman teach Webflow, ahhh).🔥
Thanks you so much for such valuable information. as devs always looking for such helpful content. please make a series on this to help developers who are struggling with designing
this is great maddie. i've not adopted Relume yet, usually making everything custom and I have my own methods, but, I've been interested in the library and it's awesome to see someone knowledgeable go into depth in their whole process with it.
Maddie, thank you so much for being such a generous human being! The checklist and the video walkthrough you made are massively helpful for beginners like me! 👏
Maddie! Literally you are the best webflow expert out there, you literally gave that thousand dollars info for free, thanks a lot and will definitely look up to your channel for future interesting and accurate videos about real life client things. ( I use relume too 😆 )
New Subie, such a good content! Can't wait to see more! I would really appreciate more videos on how to start, and set for example figma, flodesk, and other programs you are using, to help automate this process. Also webflow tutorials. Maybe how do you pair fonts, this would be very useful. Ahh, you can tell, I am so excited :)
Fantastic video! Watched it till the end and learned a lot from you. Thank you! I'd love to see a video from you explaining how exactly you use Relume Kit to pre-build your sites in Figma. :)
Oh, so appreciate it that you share your workflow. I struggled with my own workflow for some time, and your checklist saves me time. One question, how do you handle things like Google Analytics and FB? Are you creating an account for a client? Do you use ChatGPT to make an SEO title and description? 🙂
Great question! Typically I instruct clients to set up their own analytics accounts and show them via Loom video where to locate the information they need to share with me to set it up.
This is so thorough! I'm a newbie to Webflow and actually trying to decide if I start learning Webflow or if I go with Wordpress and Bricks Builder (I love coding). I wanted to see how much you charge for 1 on 1 help, but your link in your description isn't working! Just giving you a heads up. Thanks again for the content, I'll be a subscriber no matter which builder I end up working with!
Hey Jessa! That's awesome. Would love to help you make that decision if you're interested. Here is a link to my 'Project Power Hour' sessions www.studiomadz.com/project-power-hour
This is great! You just earned a loyal subscriber! Please can you make a video showing the possibilities that one can achieve with a free webflow plan? The subscription fee is wayy to expensive for me at the moment and i need to be able to max what i can do with the freeplan. Thanks Maddie! Cheers.
I understand. I would say use your Free plan wisely to learn and practice as best you can, as well as for your own website. Then, as you get clients, just make sure you are building within their accounts and added as a guest to their workspace, which is free. Just keep learning as much as you can. You got this.
It's currently in the works! Hoping to release in March/April. Will be deep diving on all things process, add-on tools, CMS, Ecomm, & real-world client scenarios. If you're on my email list you'll get first dibs & discounts :)
I would double check you typed your email correctly. Just took a look and found you on the list, so let me know if you're still having trouble. Thanks!
Hey there! Yes it is. The links in the email seem to be working on my end. But if you're still having trouble send me an email at hello@studiomadz.com and I'll send you the link manually.
yes, you can now! But at the time of this video it either hadn't come out yet or justtt did. Working on an update vid to this with some great new changes Webflow has made.
guy webflow designers will get many more clicks from women, if only they open their shirt and show off their chest hair. There should be spray on chest hair available from somewhere.
Hello Maddie, great video! Just got one question, when the site is finished and I send to the client, they will still have to pay a montlhy fee to webflow? So their cost will be what I charge for the site + monthly fee forever, that is very hard to sell to a client, specially with webflow prices. How do you do it
Hey there! No matter what website platform they use, there is going to be a monthly cost associated with it, which is standard practice for the client to handle. If they aren't in a place to make an additional investment for designer/developer to help them build, that's totally understandable, but just means they aren't the right fit for you. They can always DIY their site, but the cost will be their time & attention. You offer valuable expertise, insight, and skill, and with the right clients, that's worth paying for.
Thank you so much, Maddie! Your video and check list is so helpful for Webflow beginners! I wish you that The Universe will return positive energy to you in double size!
Instant subscribe. Not enough videos covering stuff like this. You're the best!

Hey! Yes, checklist is still available. I would double check you entered your email correctly (or do it again), or check your spam folder.
Hi, is the checklist still available? it takes me to 502 Bad Gateway error
Hey there! Yes it is. The links in the email seem to be working on my end. But if you're still having trouble send me an email at hello@studiomadz.com and I'll send you the link manually.
Can’t you just use WebP for images with Webflow? I thought it was compatible with Webflow.
yes, you can now! But at the time of this video it either hadn't come out yet or justtt did. Working on an update vid to this with some great new changes Webflow has made.
