This is why I love Jools Holland, absolutely zero music snobbery, he includes and appreciates everyone’s style of music. A grown up Sugababes, all in black with grown up dance routines, pure class!! They are so polished it’s not even like a comeback it’s like they’ve never been away, good choice for the Hootenanny!! 🥳🖤

These were included to appeal to a different demograph. Don't be naive to think jools chooses who's on the show.

This lineup flopped in 2000 and will continue to flop in 2020s. They now need each other because they don't have other things to do.

Bonded vocally from the start, bonded together against their old management when they came back. They got spark. The haters can cry from the mountains everyday but it is the truth.

@@voiceofreason2237 Which is a sign they keep on going for the music and have a core fan base that will always support them, and they are not under any desperation to land a multi-million pound record deal because they are not going to be some label's guinea's pig. By your logic, no artist should perform because they have "nothing better to do".
I love the many iterations of sugababes but I sure do love the original era. They have a vocal chemistry of sisters. It’s just incredible.

@@shanebeard4329 You're right, but I agree with Sarcle that Keisha is the glue that holds the group together in so many ways-not only vocally but creatively. You only have to read the interviews to realise how Mutya and Siobhan praise Keisha for structuring the harmonies.
Also, bear in mind that Keisha was at the forefront, fighting to get the Sugababes name back. Plus, she sacrificed the release of her solo record in favour of the group project. From what I remember what the other two said, Keisha brings the pop or 'Disney' element to the group.
Though all three are vital pillars for the success of this band.

@@francisthomlinson9062 It is, indeed. The redhead Siobhan left after the first album. The three came back together 12 years ago under the name MKS and regained control of the Sugababes name back in 2019.

Everything about the original three is epic. Each performance is fresh, re-jigged and revitalised.
Huge respect to Heidi, but this is the Sugababes I love - absolutely smashing it and dumping every other band that autotunes into the skip.

Really impressed by the way Keisha and Siobhan are able to sub in to Heidi’s parts really well. Glad Mutya’s still got that unique rasp.
Well Heidi was chosen because of how similar she sounded to Siobhan. So Siobhan wont struggle with heidi’s parts.
Heidi was always a cheap substitute of Siobahn, never liked her.
@@calinfus80sI saw the sugababes in an intimate concert for 50 competition winners actually around the push the bottom time, I was 15 and absolutely in love with Heidi and she’s just as gorgeous in real life, I couldn’t stop staring at her the entire time.
I’m straight btw 😂 I just think she’s a gorgeous woman and can sing.
I like Siobhan but I’m grateful they had Heidi.
Siobhan can sing all Heidi parts because Heidi was a replacement and their voices are very similar.
Keisha was in the band for this songs release , just Siobhan subbing in

They ALL sound SO good!! Love hearing Siobhan on this track. I've always loved Siobhan's voice. Mutya is phenomenal as usual, and Keisha continues to be astounding.

Sugababes are very good singers live, never seen a performance were they lipped.
They did so well! Loved the sugabaes when I was growing up in the 00s. So glad to see the orginals back together. I have a new found appreciation for their harmonies and singing ability. Their tunes always had excellent melodies and they have come back stronger. Hope to see more of them in 2024. What a delight to see them ringing in the new year. X

A fantastic end to an amazing year of live performances from the original sacred 3 sugababes . I saw them at Rochester castle , the O2 and at the recording of Graham Norton , their vocals are on another level compared to any other girl band ❤
