Great video! new sub! I'm building out my 2021 Ram Promaster and having a blast. So, I have a question... I thought in order to control lights from to locations you had to have a SPDT (single pole double throw) special light switch. Y'all didn't mention that. So, I'm curious if I can use a regular switch? (P.S. thank you for the google sheet and links.)
Thank you! Yes, you’re right. We should have mentioned that you need an SPDT switch. In our electrical video we go into more detail about this, but I’ll update the description to link to the switches we use.
Yes, we think it does. You still need at least a bar of cell service for it to work, but it definitely makes weak signals stronger inside the van. I think we still will upgrade to starlink, however, since there are plenty of areas we like to stay that have no cell signal at all.
New sub here. Getting geared up to do a build on a Promaster 3500 ext. Great videos. Well done. You guys have it together. Maddie is especially impressive and more than capable. Looking forward to check out more vids. Cheers from the mitten!
This video is so helpful. I'm building out a 2017 Promaster and it's been a slow and frustrating process so I really appreciate your video. Question - is there a reason why you guys bought the duplex 14awg wire and not the individual red and black 14 awg wires I've seen many people doing? Just curious because for me this wire stage is complicated to understand.

Girrrel, THANK U, It really eased my mind, and added much knowledge I needed to learn. My no biuld build still needs 💡, I subscribed, safe travels
Thank you! Glad it was helpful 😊
Loved this ! Thank you soooooo much
Glad you liked it!!
One other question... do you think your WeBoost makes a difference?

Thanks! More videos should be on there way soon. Good luck with your build. 👍🏼

Marine grade duplex is much more sturdy. It has a thick outer sheath protecting the wires inside!
Just a though, what about the use of GFCI receptacles near sink, or really all since they are within 6ft.
Yes! We will install GFCI outlets in our electrical video. If you have one at the beginning of each run, then the entire circuit is protected by it.
So are you going to add shore power and then have a way to charge your batteries by shore power?
Yes, we are able to charge with shore power, solar, and our alternator. Stay tuned for the electrical video :)
I knew I had bad vibes about this chick… then she put on the mask… 🙄 I knew it.
Wouldn't you want to protect your friends and family from Covid?
@@nomadmaddie with a mask that does nothing? How many boosters you got 🤣
