Thanks for this video. As a big fan of Seimitsu, I was a little disappointed when I tried Qanba Gravities at the AS booth at EVO. I like the click and smack of a button and the gravities just minimize it so much. Hearing the 202s here, I think that's probably the route I want to go for trying mechanical switch buttons, cause at least in this video they sounded great.
Yeah, I feel the same way. There's something satisfying about a nice click, so I tend to gravitate away from the super quiet ones. I think you'll be happy with Crown 202s though. They are great buttons.
I have lived and died playing on Hayabusas for a good amount of my FGC stint since getting my own fightstick, but now I rock Gamerfingers with some stiffer linear switches, and they're perfect and with the nearly endless amount of compatible MX style switches, the sky's the limit. I'm still amazed that there is a button even more expensive than GFs 😅
Fantastic Video... also to add, anyone who wants gamerfingers but can't get them, the Qanba Gravity KS buttons have a similar feel and are usually readily available. They suffer the same color limitations as the Gamerfingers though.

I've been looking into different buttons, and it's interesting the amount of choices you can have. I might be looking into the qanba gravity and this video may have sold me on this choice! it's a good video I'd recommend to anyone looking into getting buttons for their arcade stick

This is a great video and the amount of buttons you have is impressive! I prefer iL/Happ concave with Cherry switches. I do not like Convex or LED Convex because they're usually too slippery.
This list does seem pretty exhaustive, at least when it comes to the buttons people should even consider. The only buttons I can personally think of that you didn't mention are: ENTH - KRM30s, optical buttons e.g. Wico Perfect 360s that are currently near impossible to find and Omni Arcade 0720s of which only test versions were released. I am very curious about those JA buttons, as those are the only ones I'm not familiar with. -Great Video

you should lube your mech switches. it gonna be more quite and more smooth. aside from that great video. since i just started to get into fighting games, i want my own fight stick. i already build one myself using one of those cheap diy kit and i want to upgrade it one at a time so this video is actually helpful to me.

I really enjoy these kinds of brrakdowns, I have a bunch of gravity buttons that used to be my favorite but as of today a few of them have housings that have come out when it press them multiple times. That's a shame about your Gravity buttons. I only have one stick that makes use of them, so I don't rotate through them as often as some other button brands. You used to be able to buy Bitbang/Buttercade LED switches for the Gravity buttons (so they would light up red with each press) which was a really cool feature, but they appear to be discontinued (or currently out of stock) so I didn't mention it in the video. I started with Sanwa, got a premade afs all button controller with seimitsu, changed the directions to crown202 which feel many times better compared to the other two mentioned. For me, Seimitsu are way too hard to press for directions, they are kinda cool for action buttons, though. Sanwa were okay all in all but the crown202 (silver) for directions feel amazing!! Maybe I'll try them with blue cherry switches or even some other ones. Gamerfinger are very hard to come by here, how do you compare them to the crown202?
Aesthetically, I kind of like the octagonal rims of GF, but even with the same switches, they still feel worse to me (a bit mushier) and I definitely prefer Crown 202s. But I also like Seimitsu a lot, so you can see our tastes are a bit different. GF are super quiet if that's a plus to you though. I've tried cherry blue switches and lots of others, and I prefer linear switches over tactile at the end of the day.
Quick question can I swap out the rims of one set of buttons to another set if they are the same brand. Like I want to get white sanwas and gold sanwas and switch out the buttons so the white ones are in the golden rims.

As someone who builds keyboards, I'm shocked at how bad the button quality is that you get right now. Bought a bunch of Sanwa buttons and they're obviously better than what my Mayflash came with but sheesh. They're so mushy and their travel distance just makes no sense to me. Just bought a Hori Alpha which I believe come with Hiyabasha but if I don't like those I'll switch to the Gamer Fingers since that's up my keyboard alley.
Yeah, it sounds like you may need some keyboard style buttons to get your fix. And if you do go with GF, you can easily swap the switches to your preferred flavor. Thanks for watching!
is there any other buttons that use cherry mx? other then gamerfinger a lot of youtube videos say not to get them cuz of shipping but i have so many cherry switches and novelty switches already would be easy to switch it out
You can swap out Crown 202s with different cherry switches for sure. (I popped some Navy ones in that "Shadow fightstick" vid a while back) I'd start with that brand. I really like them overall.
How different are the old school arcade buttons (like Sanwa/Semitsu) compared to the more modern ones that use keyboard switches? Is one style easier to press (actuation force), or better for techniques like double tap, piano, sliding, etc? I want to do a custom leverless build and trying to decide what to buy
They are different, but still buttons, ya know? I think you'll probably acclimate to whatever, but if you're going to be pianoing and sliding, then Hori is actually pretty good for that just because they have a lower actuation threshold and their rims are a lower profile than a lot of others so your fingers can slide across easier. I think the appeal of the keyswitch buttons is you get to pick the perfect switch for you. And if you're a keyboard enthusiast, you can see the allure there. So as someone with limited stick experience, my only stick so far as been the Quanba Drone. I distinctly dislike the loose buttons because they forced me to hover my hand over the buttons, which was uncomfortable at the best of times and led to very many misclicks. If you had to scale the buttons in this list in ascending order by actuation force, where would the Drone's buttons place and how good are some of the stiffer buttons? Additionally, what good sticks come out of the box with stiffer buttons?
The Drone 2 buttons are poor. If you are wanting something pretty stiff, then those Sunmulon ones require quite a force to actuate so a user could rest their hands on them without issue. Or, there are newer 3d-printed options not featued in this video called OSBMX, and then SGF sells a similar style called Monkey Butts. What is good about them is that you choose the switch yourself. It sounds like you want a stiffer switch, so pick something that's like 70+ gf and you'd likely be able to rest your hands. If you are uncomfortable 3d printing yourself, maybe ask SGF in their discord if you could get a custom run of their buttons with beefier switches than you see advertised on their homepage. Thanks a lot. Using your hitbox DIY guide to finally start building my first non-pad controller ever... or my first DIY controller period ig. Trying to decide between Sanwa and Seimitsu, a lot of people saying Sanwa is kinda mushy which I don't think I will like but they are advertised on paradise arcade as being quiet whereas Seimitsu is not which is kinda a must in my living situation. Which one do you think would be better (it doesn't have to be super silent, but if it's significantly louder than a normal mechanical keyboard it will likely be too much) or do you think a different button altogether is better?
I don't consider either one of them silent. My most recent video (as of this comment) tests a variety of buttons on how quiet they can be. I start with some of the default ones like Sanwa and Seimitsu to get a baseline and then move on to more extreme options as the video progresses. Noise aside, I like Seimitsu over Sanwa in terms of feel. I can rest my hands a bit and not get accidental inputs. Of the first "silent" contenders, Gamer Finger, Gravity, and Hori were the top 3 (ordered). The first two in that category are fairly spendy, but if you need silent, they are worth looking into. If you want a lower actuation threshold, then go with Hori. If not, or you need something slightly quieter, then look at Gravity buttons. If you are committed to Sanwa or Seimitsu, then Sanwa is slightly quieter imo, but still not what I would consider quiet.
Looking for replacement buttons for a joystick and I am now going through videos about buttons, but I don't find anyone actually covering what I am looking for. Is there any difference between how the buttons work, actuation and release points and travelling time? I mean you mentioned that the travelling time is a bit longer on one of them, but there got to be more differences. I mean there are tons of different mechanical keyboard switches which all have different characteristics, which are completely independent of the "color of the key". Like what is their activation zone, is their release point different than the activation point, how close is the activation point at the point you reach when you "push through" and so on.
Yeah, they all feel a bit different, but I've never seen a document listing all differences and subtleties. Some of the button kinds accept mechanical keyboard switches so if you know your key switch preference, you can make that happen here. But the button construction gives them a different feel even with the same switches (like Crown 202 and Gamer Finger feel very different to me even with the same switches).

At the beginning you mentioned preferring screw in over snap ins. What are the reasons ? Do snap ins break too easily? What the pros & cons of each? I'm looking at gamer fingers. I have the victrix fs 12 so I can do either I would imagine.
There is a special tool you can use to help reduce breaking tabs on buttons if you're changing a lot (I have it in another video), but I prefer screw-ins because 1) they feel sturdier and I don't have to worry about cracking tabs without the tool, and 2) the thickness of the enclosure can be any value and I can still get a lock down on my button. Like with the snap-ins, there feels like an ideal, standard thickness measurement that they've used, and 9 times out of 10 it works great. But if I have a thicker top panel in a custom enclosure, they don't seem to fully lock as you'd expect. It's not a big issue and friction keeps them from falling out so there's no risk of that. I just prefer screw-ins given the option, but really, both are fine.
The clicky-ness of the Sunmulon button is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Unfortunately it seems nearly impossible to get ahold of in the USA? At least the US distributor for Sunmulon doesn't seem to distribute them anymore as far as I could tell. Maybe I'm missing something. :(
That's a weird one because they aren't sold through the major/usual arcade part suppliers. I picked up a set through a group buy on a fightstick discord. That's where I end up getting a lot of my atypical parts. I don't know if another group buy is in works for the future, but you could always join and communicate your wants. I saw a full 24 mm set in white for sale like a week ago. I don't think these buttons caught major traction in the FGC because A) they are much more expensive than usual buttons, I think like $11-13 a button, and B) they require .187 connections rather than the usual .110 quick disconnects; that's not that big of a deal, but something to be aware of when you go to assemble. C) from what I understood, they were more geared toward shmup sensibilities (Ikaruga type stuff) rather than fighting games. It doesn't matter and you can play what you want on any games you want, but I wonder if the shmup and fighting game communities don't intersect that much so there were fewer chances for FGC people to really give them a try before committing to an expensive package of buttons. Anyway, I'm rambling, but I think you should consider joining fightstick discords to potentially scope out a used set or get in on the next group buy. Good luck! discord.gg/kmDJTbTY

I mean obviously you've touched them and I haven't, but the noise they were making was exactly what I like to hear from my buttons and I assume it feels similar. I got some big hands and my fingers are used to pounding away at a mechanical keyboard all day so I like buttons that are a little more resistant than the Sanwa, Seimitsu, and Samducksa ones (various spring and switch types) I've tried so far.
@@Xenodyne You could grab some Crown 202 or Gamer Finger, and then just change out the switches. They accommodate normal keyswitches, so you could pull out the stock linear switch, and then insert your favorite mechanical variety. Something clicky / tactile. Maybe like a Cherry MX blue? Sunmulons are pretty stiff, so you may want something with a higher gf. Maybe 80 or so? A switch like that may have the click/feel you want. Sanwa are pretty cheap, really. If you want the absolute cheapest, then Jyuee Ang buttons are available at Paradise Arcade Shop. I don't have any real experience with that brand though.
I just ordered my case and Brook XB PCB kit, trying to figure out what buttons I should get for my custom Hitbox. I don't know shit about arcade sticks, I do know I had a Razer keyboard with those mechanical clickity clackity keys that gave me so much joy and satisfaction pressing them. My wife fkn hated my guts at night while she was trying to sleep. I don't want silent keys but I also can't sound like I'm working a typewriter when staying up and playing at night. Also I'm wanting solid bright colored buttons that will look good on a solid matte black case. Any suggestions?
If you're going with keyboard switch-type buttons, go for "linear" over the other types. Otherwise, I have a video with quieter buttons a few months ago on this channel. Start your search with GamerFinger, Qanba Gravity, and OSBMX 3d printed buttons (plans on GitHub) with Peach switches. All of those were pretty quiet. @@HushMySweet1 Keyboard switches, is that the mechanical switches? I'm going to watch that video, I'm really not a fan of silent heavy switches with a slow "squishy" type of press. I like quick with a nice click to it that isn't going to get obnoxious after a match.
I utilize a lot of custom enclosures because I prefer that vibe. That means I encounter lots of different enclosure materials and lots of different enclosure types (acrylic, woods, metal, etc.). So the snap-ins typically will work (90% of the time, no issue), but are geared to be optimal with a specific depth in mind so sometimes I'll use an enclosure type which leaves the snap-ins feeling a bit sloppy, like they weren't made with that material thickness in mind. But, screw-ins don't have that problem because I can just turn it half again once more and it will be tight as it should be. So, *most* of the time snap-ins will work, but *all* of the time screw-ins will work is how I see it. So I grab screw-ins when I can. Most are .110" wires. Yeah, you can solder if you don't have the quick disconnects. I have one stick that is soldered to the side of the terminal prongs so it can maintain a lower profile.

I’m looking to get about 22 or 23 mechanical buttons to replace the ones in my Smashbox. Gamerfingers are probably out of the question due to availability so I was probably gonna go for the crown 202s but I’ve been seeing on Reddit that they break after a few months so I have no idea what to get.
I have never had one break on me, but I have had one of the metallic Crown 202s stick down during a press. All things considered, I think they are a pretty solid button (especially if you aren't getting metallics).
Yes on both accounts, actually. I've went through a lot of buttons in my life, but I have noticed that the Crown metallic editions have occasionally been troublesome. Not enough that it's an issue (but I remember hitting the inside with a multi-tool to make sure it wouldn't catch). Not a big deal since I usually stick to their translucent line. Are you able to swap the inserts from different brands? There were some colors that I wanted for my sanwa buttons that they don't have that other brands have.
Qanba gravity with their included foam silencer, included linear switchs and after market kryo 205g keyboard lube (applied to the stock switches). Easily the smoothest, best sounding, feeling, and responsive buttons I've ever had. I used sanwa, semitsu, hori, and even gamer finger. Nothing comparies. I tried the tactial switch for the qanba including lubing the switch on everyside except the tactial feet and it just did not feel as intuitive or acurate.
@@HushMySweet1 Night and day. The smoothness, the sound, the speed of the press. The qanbas are alright without it, but $20 extra with some lube and a brush that comes with it turns them into gold. Stock are kinda scratchy, sound clankier, not nearly as smooth, hard to explain kinda.
I don't know how much room is in that particular case, but if you want to keep it feeling close to how it did originally did, then you'll probably want Hori buttons. 30 mm is the standard size for face buttons.

Sanwa buttons are a Godsend for those with soft fingers like myself - warning: the tabs on the snap-in buttons are VERY fragile, so be careful (I now use screw-in buttons whenever I can). I'm thinking of going outside the norm and experimenting with square, even triangular buttons. Has anyone here had any experience with such buttons?
I picked up some triangle buttons, but haven't got around to installing them in anything yet. But I agree with you regarding Sanwa tabs. Those things have a way of breaking. (There is a button remover tool that helps with that, however.) Anyway, thanks for watching!

There are few optical options for fightsticks and I believe most will require special boards to process the inputs, but there's some exceptions. Razer is doing them on their all-button Kitsune. And then there are those classic/expensive Wico Perfect 360 buttons (and those even more spendy spill-proof ones), but I don't see much optical use in fightsticks. Point me in the right direction if you're aware of good and less expensive options you'd like to see demo'd. Thanks for watching.

is there any other buttons that use cherry mx? other then gamerfinger a lot of youtube videos say not to get them cuz of shipping but i have so many cherry switches and novelty switches already would be easy to switch it out
You can swap out Crown 202s with different cherry switches for sure. (I popped some Navy ones in that "Shadow fightstick" vid a while back) I'd start with that brand. I really like them overall.
How different are the old school arcade buttons (like Sanwa/Semitsu) compared to the more modern ones that use keyboard switches? Is one style easier to press (actuation force), or better for techniques like double tap, piano, sliding, etc? I want to do a custom leverless build and trying to decide what to buy
They are different, but still buttons, ya know? I think you'll probably acclimate to whatever, but if you're going to be pianoing and sliding, then Hori is actually pretty good for that just because they have a lower actuation threshold and their rims are a lower profile than a lot of others so your fingers can slide across easier. I think the appeal of the keyswitch buttons is you get to pick the perfect switch for you. And if you're a keyboard enthusiast, you can see the allure there. So as someone with limited stick experience, my only stick so far as been the Quanba Drone. I distinctly dislike the loose buttons because they forced me to hover my hand over the buttons, which was uncomfortable at the best of times and led to very many misclicks. If you had to scale the buttons in this list in ascending order by actuation force, where would the Drone's buttons place and how good are some of the stiffer buttons? Additionally, what good sticks come out of the box with stiffer buttons?
The Drone 2 buttons are poor. If you are wanting something pretty stiff, then those Sunmulon ones require quite a force to actuate so a user could rest their hands on them without issue. Or, there are newer 3d-printed options not featued in this video called OSBMX, and then SGF sells a similar style called Monkey Butts. What is good about them is that you choose the switch yourself. It sounds like you want a stiffer switch, so pick something that's like 70+ gf and you'd likely be able to rest your hands. If you are uncomfortable 3d printing yourself, maybe ask SGF in their discord if you could get a custom run of their buttons with beefier switches than you see advertised on their homepage. Thanks a lot. Using your hitbox DIY guide to finally start building my first non-pad controller ever... or my first DIY controller period ig. Trying to decide between Sanwa and Seimitsu, a lot of people saying Sanwa is kinda mushy which I don't think I will like but they are advertised on paradise arcade as being quiet whereas Seimitsu is not which is kinda a must in my living situation. Which one do you think would be better (it doesn't have to be super silent, but if it's significantly louder than a normal mechanical keyboard it will likely be too much) or do you think a different button altogether is better?
I don't consider either one of them silent. My most recent video (as of this comment) tests a variety of buttons on how quiet they can be. I start with some of the default ones like Sanwa and Seimitsu to get a baseline and then move on to more extreme options as the video progresses. Noise aside, I like Seimitsu over Sanwa in terms of feel. I can rest my hands a bit and not get accidental inputs. Of the first "silent" contenders, Gamer Finger, Gravity, and Hori were the top 3 (ordered). The first two in that category are fairly spendy, but if you need silent, they are worth looking into. If you want a lower actuation threshold, then go with Hori. If not, or you need something slightly quieter, then look at Gravity buttons. If you are committed to Sanwa or Seimitsu, then Sanwa is slightly quieter imo, but still not what I would consider quiet.

Looking for replacement buttons for a joystick and I am now going through videos about buttons, but I don't find anyone actually covering what I am looking for. Is there any difference between how the buttons work, actuation and release points and travelling time? I mean you mentioned that the travelling time is a bit longer on one of them, but there got to be more differences. I mean there are tons of different mechanical keyboard switches which all have different characteristics, which are completely independent of the "color of the key". Like what is their activation zone, is their release point different than the activation point, how close is the activation point at the point you reach when you "push through" and so on.
Yeah, they all feel a bit different, but I've never seen a document listing all differences and subtleties. Some of the button kinds accept mechanical keyboard switches so if you know your key switch preference, you can make that happen here. But the button construction gives them a different feel even with the same switches (like Crown 202 and Gamer Finger feel very different to me even with the same switches).

At the beginning you mentioned preferring screw in over snap ins. What are the reasons ? Do snap ins break too easily?
What the pros & cons of each? I'm looking at gamer fingers.
I have the victrix fs 12 so I can do either I would imagine.
There is a special tool you can use to help reduce breaking tabs on buttons if you're changing a lot (I have it in another video), but I prefer screw-ins because 1) they feel sturdier and I don't have to worry about cracking tabs without the tool, and 2) the thickness of the enclosure can be any value and I can still get a lock down on my button. Like with the snap-ins, there feels like an ideal, standard thickness measurement that they've used, and 9 times out of 10 it works great. But if I have a thicker top panel in a custom enclosure, they don't seem to fully lock as you'd expect. It's not a big issue and friction keeps them from falling out so there's no risk of that. I just prefer screw-ins given the option, but really, both are fine.

The clicky-ness of the Sunmulon button is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Unfortunately it seems nearly impossible to get ahold of in the USA? At least the US distributor for Sunmulon doesn't seem to distribute them anymore as far as I could tell. Maybe I'm missing something. :(
That's a weird one because they aren't sold through the major/usual arcade part suppliers. I picked up a set through a group buy on a fightstick discord. That's where I end up getting a lot of my atypical parts. I don't know if another group buy is in works for the future, but you could always join and communicate your wants. I saw a full 24 mm set in white for sale like a week ago. I don't think these buttons caught major traction in the FGC because A) they are much more expensive than usual buttons, I think like $11-13 a button, and B) they require .187 connections rather than the usual .110 quick disconnects; that's not that big of a deal, but something to be aware of when you go to assemble. C) from what I understood, they were more geared toward shmup sensibilities (Ikaruga type stuff) rather than fighting games. It doesn't matter and you can play what you want on any games you want, but I wonder if the shmup and fighting game communities don't intersect that much so there were fewer chances for FGC people to really give them a try before committing to an expensive package of buttons. I got some big hands and my fingers are used to pounding away at a mechanical keyboard all day so I like buttons that are a little more resistant than the Sanwa, Seimitsu, and Samducksa ones (various spring and switch types) I've tried so far.
@@Xenodyne You could grab some Crown 202 or Gamer Finger, and then just change out the switches. They accommodate normal keyswitches, so you could pull out the stock linear switch, and then insert your favorite mechanical variety. Something clicky / tactile. Maybe like a Cherry MX blue? Sunmulons are pretty stiff, so you may want something with a higher gf. Maybe 80 or so? A switch like that may have the click/feel you want. Sanwa are pretty cheap, really. If you want the absolute cheapest, then Jyuee Ang buttons are available at Paradise Arcade Shop. I don't have any real experience with that brand though.

I don't know shit about arcade sticks, I do know I had a Razer keyboard with those mechanical clickity clackity keys that gave me so much joy and satisfaction pressing them. My wife fkn hated my guts at night while she was trying to sleep.
I don't want silent keys but I also can't sound like I'm working a typewriter when staying up and playing at night. Also I'm wanting solid bright colored buttons that will look good on a solid matte black case. Any suggestions?
If you're going with keyboard switch-type buttons, go for "linear" over the other types. Otherwise, I have a video with quieter buttons a few months ago on this channel. Start your search with GamerFinger, Qanba Gravity, and OSBMX 3d printed buttons (plans on GitHub) with Peach switches. All of those were pretty quiet. I like Seimitsu and Crown 202. Both are stiff enough I can rest my hands without an accidental press, and both feel satisfying.

I utilize a lot of custom enclosures because I prefer that vibe. That means I encounter lots of different enclosure materials and lots of different enclosure types (acrylic, woods, metal, etc.). So the snap-ins typically will work (90% of the time, no issue), but are geared to be optimal with a specific depth in mind so sometimes I'll use an enclosure type which leaves the snap-ins feeling a bit sloppy, like they weren't made with that material thickness in mind. But, screw-ins don't have that problem because I can just turn it half again once more and it will be tight as it should be. So, *most* of the time snap-ins will work, but *all* of the time screw-ins will work is how I see it. So I grab screw-ins when I can. Most are .110" wires. Yeah, you can solder if you don't have the quick disconnects. I have one stick that is soldered to the side of the terminal prongs so it can maintain a lower profile.

I’m looking to get about 22 or 23 mechanical buttons to replace the ones in my Smashbox. Gamerfingers are probably out of the question due to availability so I was probably gonna go for the crown 202s but I’ve been seeing on Reddit that they break after a few months so I have no idea what to get.
I have never had one break on me, but I have had one of the metallic Crown 202s stick down during a press. All things considered, I think they are a pretty solid button (especially if you aren't getting metallics).

Yes on both accounts, actually. I've went through a lot of buttons in my life, but I have noticed that the Crown metallic editions have occasionally been troublesome. Not enough that it's an issue (but I remember hitting the inside with a multi-tool to make sure it wouldn't catch). Not a big deal since I usually stick to their translucent line. Qanba gravity with their included foam silencer, included linear switchs and after market kryo 205g keyboard lube (applied to the stock switches). Easily the smoothest, best sounding, feeling, and responsive buttons I've ever had.
I used sanwa, semitsu, hori, and even gamer finger. Nothing comparies. I tried the tactial switch for the qanba including lubing the switch on everyside except the tactial feet and it just did not feel as intuitive or acurate.
Interesting perspective. How much does that keyboard lube addition change the feel of stock Gravity buttons?
@@HushMySweet1 Night and day. The smoothness, the sound, the speed of the press. The qanbas are alright without it, but $20 extra with some lube and a brush that comes with it turns them into gold. Stock are kinda scratchy, sound clankier, not nearly as smooth, hard to explain kinda.

I don't know how much room is in that particular case, but if you want to keep it feeling close to how it did originally did, then you'll probably want Hori buttons. 30 mm is the standard size for face buttons.

Sanwa buttons are a Godsend for those with soft fingers like myself - warning: the tabs on the snap-in buttons are VERY fragile, so be careful (I now use screw-in buttons whenever I can). I'm thinking of going outside the norm and experimenting with square, even triangular buttons. Has anyone here had any experience with such buttons?
I picked up some triangle buttons, but haven't got around to installing them in anything yet. But I agree with you regarding Sanwa tabs. Those things have a way of breaking. (There is a button remover tool that helps with that, however.) Anyway, thanks for watching!

There are few optical options for fightsticks and I believe most will require special boards to process the inputs, but there's some exceptions. Razer is doing them on their all-button Kitsune. And then there are those classic/expensive Wico Perfect 360 buttons (and those even more spendy spill-proof ones), but I don't see much optical use in fightsticks. Point me in the right direction if you're aware of good and less expensive options you'd like to see demo'd. Thanks for watching.
