I guess it is very difficult to get back to the FBW after trying out the Fenix A320. FBW A320NX is a wonderful freeware aircraft and kept MSFS alive for close to two years, so I hope they continue, but they are still far away from getting the A320NX to the sophistication of the Fenix airbus.
Wish I saw this video before I bought it. Im sure its great for people that want it to be 100% realistic, but I just want it to be a little bit more easy like the other airplanes that does not nessesarely need Simbrief or something. So for me it was wasted money :(
Ahhhhhh!!!! What the bloody hell happened at the end with the confused narration. This was over the most important bit of the final load sheet that needed explaining. Might be worth re-doing that bit on its own as it's the key to all of the data. 😭 At 15:28 just round up to the nearest 100 kgs for alternate fuel. No need to round up 2-300 kgs more from the OFP. You want this data in the INIT B page to be as accurate as possible to give you real figures you can use. Round up, but don't overdo it! 👍 At 21:45 you said the runway was dry! Read the BLOODY METAR!!! 🙄🙄🙄 At 32:20, EO SID distance. Do you think you can get an engine secure, level off and accelerate to above 1500 ft in 10nm?? Especially if you're quite heavy and its hot??? Don't forget the MSA is worked out up to 25nm away. Theres no harm in having an EO SID waypoint a bit further out. Just so you can activate the secondary when you get a chance and still fly straight ahead to that EOSID waypoint. Then once you've secured the engine and you're above 1500 ft, you can then turn direct to your holding fix. You don't want to be turning earlier than you need to which could happen if the EOSID waypoint is too close. Be creative with the name. You can call it whatever. EOSID, EFAIL, WHOPS, BANG etc etc! 🤪 At 32:36. Correct about the GA track being displayed. Just think about it though. Would you really want to do a convoluted GA procedure if you're single engine? Or would you just prefer to ask ATC and say "Can I just climb straight ahead to 3000 ft in the event of a missed approach?" They may give it to you, they may not. But you can make it a lot easier. Obviously you'd need to discuss this as part of your arrival brief / failure management discussion when the time comes. 😉
I find the planning part of the flight simulator and simbrief annoying. There is like 98% of no needed information that most people don't even know what is. And like me, seeing more RUclips videos than playing just to get the route in without failure. I think I'm just telling what many think!

thanks so so much bro
allowing simbrief injects all the waypoints of the flightplan into the MCDU is like how happen in the real life EFB -> MCDU? or in real life you insert every single waypoint manually? thx
It's how many airlines do it in real life, via something called an ACARS uplink.
@@Easyjetsimpilot by ACARS uplink the pilots don't need to manually insert every single waypoint?
Correct.
@@Easyjetsimpilot thx! one more question: considering your airbus experience, which base look more realistic to only use for airbus aircrafts? VIRPIL VPC WarBRD Base or HOTAS Magnetic Base? and if you can also explain why. i'll really appreciate!!!!!! i wait to buy till your opinion.
Hello. Trying to figure out when “Block” and “Fuel Planning” is used. Didn’t quite understand that. If the fueling is still ongoing then we use Fuel Planning “? If so, where does that 7.6 number came from? Is that what FMGC predicts?
That is amount of fuel the aircraft has calculated your planned route will require.
Hi great video as always :) I'm making my way through the series but I seem to be having an issue with my Nav database on the MCDU. I have just purchased the Ultimate sub from Navigraph but my MCDU shows a database from Aug - Sept 21. As far as i know I have everything installed correctly and everything is fine on the Flight Pad thanks in advance for any help.
I had the same problem, until I went into the Navigraph Navdata Center app, as it’s there you update the cycle applicable to the (Fenix) addon.. good luck👍
@@christophertaggart9343 Thanks for this!
Any word if the MCDU/FMGS is based on ACARs 1.0 or 2.5?
How do you find the tropo?
Great video as per usual. One question.... the fuel for my alternate does not populate. Have I missed something or is it a bug? Cheers
Not at all. You have to enter this manually. 👍
Great tutorial as usual. Just used it as a refresher. BUT you have an issue in the voice at 36:50, 2 voices can be heard ;)
Check out the video description for a link to a second part of the video with just one voice 👍
That'll teach me not to read the full description :) I don't know if the playlist could be directly updated ? Thanks again for the great tutorials
HELP On the INIT page, when I click Intit Request*, after a few seconds it returns with INVALID F-PLN UPLINK. (I have a valid account, subscription, Air Data, etc) What am I doing wrong. Each procedure from Part 1 worrked perfect and at this video (part 2) I am stcu 2:48 into the video as my "plan" is invalid? Any help would be appreciated
You'll most likely have a different AIRAC cycle in your msfs to your Fenix aircraft. They have to be both the same.
@@Easyjetsimpilot Thank you! I was thinking the same - but is there a way to check that? As my navigraph is up to date using the latest data. Not sure how to check "the sim", per say.
@@comiccrazy3 using the Navigraph Hub app.
On INIT-B page when I click INIT REQUEST then nothing happens - I have waited for as long as 5 minutes.
3:52 ! How determinate this information ?
thank you in advance
The winds are based on your simbrief flight plan
@@Easyjetsimpilot i read this on flightplan ?
Where do we get liveries from
Where do you get the Simbrief Fenix A320 airframe?
This is available on the fenix discord server.
Is there any way the IRS alignment can be expedited?
No, this is a real time setup for the flight. 👍
29:50 - I have to point out that if you continue flying in a straight direction at Manchester Airport from either 05L or 05R, you'll run the risk of hitting the volcano located near Bradford.
That is why the EOSID for those runways is non standard and requires a turn so you don't hit the Pennines.
@@Easyjetsimpilot or hit the volcano*.
:)
where to find tropo data in simbrief ?thanks!!
On the EZY OFP layout, it is on the first page. Right hand side.
Thank you
Good tutorial but it would have been better if you have showing us where everything is writen
Example the "TROPO" or even the temperature next to the CRZ FL ...
Thank for your work anyway :)
Please see:- ruclips.net/video/R6VFlpZBGsI/видео.html
UR Amazing 👏
where do u find -46 flex temp?
Flex temp is provided by the take off performance calculator on the EFB.
hi, why in my efb i have never the Tropo number ??
Your simbrief flight plan need to be set to the EZY layout.
How do you calculate fl and temp?
All info is given on the OFP.
@@Easyjetsimpilot Where on the opf do you find Cruese fl and tropo?
The problem with the fuel is, that the Fenix overestimates its own fuel consumption right now, so be sure to load a bit extra. It won't actually use that fuel, so the numbers from simbrief are okay , but the will look off in the initial fuel prediction.
I do worry that you have ditched the A32NX ?
HELP PLEASE !!!
If i copy and paste the above flight route into Simbrief, i then generates 3 errors.
Error: Fix or airway "F370" not found.
Error: Fix or airway "SANBA1R" not found.
Error: Fix or airway "LOMKI6P" not found.
(This is using AIRAC 2205)
If this route IS valid, then why does Simbrief flag up these errors ?????
Do you have Navigraph as your data base in Simbrief?
@@enriqueosuna HI !!! Yes, AIRAC 2205 is unlocked and active within my Simbrief account, but still getting the errors - very strange !!!!!
@@DisneyTomWright I would try to generate it in Simbrief from scratch. Add the DEP and ARR and ALT with the Fenix A320 airframe and the EZY OFP-Format. Look at the routes below in the Simbrief and select the one that Gavin used to see if it generates. Perhaps copying-pasting has an issue. Nothing to lose.
@@enriqueosuna Yes interesting: If i manually input the route to Simbrief of "EGCC/23R LKPR/12" and Analyze the route - I get "Your route is valid for AIRAC 2205!".
However if I add then change to "EGCC/23R F370 LKPR/12" i get the message again of "Error: Fix or airway "F370" not found." ......................................
F370 is your cruise altitude, and not a waypoint or airway 👍
Still not clear as to where I get TROPO info from
It's on the OFP.
how to request loadsheets?
When Adding the MERSI waypoint/hold it finds a waypoint Near Starnberg Lake in Germany! Is this due to a Change in Airac Cycle? I am Using the newest one 😕 still in SIMSMART it says MERSI - i am a Little confused?
Haha. This is a spelling error in SimSmart. It should be MIRSI
@@Easyjetsimpilot Thanks a lot! I was really Stuck Here! Keep up the GREAT work! For me your Videos are the best way to Learn 🤓
why do I have to fix my discontinuity and you dont? also, why are you using navigraph? im literally using the same route and im copying you
Navigraph is for the charts. You don't need it for the actual flight plan
And the trip wind is ?
Either shown on your OFP or not entered if you've downloaded the winds on the INIT A page.
Stupid question how are you moving your head like that. I play in vr but I am getting sick of the stuttering. Considering going flatscreen.
Right mouse button to pan around.
Link to first video please.
It's in the same playlist 👍
I didn't get this thing: why did the ofp said 6.6 t of fuel and the aircraft calculated 7.6?
Because we can add extra fuel for external factors (weather, holds, additional fuel for diversions etc)
this is what Simbrief came up with for a flight fron San Diego to San fransisco
But what was the listed Mzfw?
@@Easyjetsimpilot I cant say now, I deleted the flight. Watching some tutorials to see what I might have done wrong as far as what I do for the fuel factor for this plane

Math is my achillies heal in aviation. My ZFW as a whole number is 328,801. How in theee...(lol) do I make that a percentage?
I'm afraid that can't be right.
328,801kg is far too heavy
328,801lbs is also far too heavy (about 149 tonnes).
@@Easyjetsimpilot I just wrote simbrief! I have no idea how this can be. I have been watching you since 5 am and still have not gotten off the ground! BLAHHHH!!! lol, thanks for understanding
Some experience from my side - note that if you upgrade your CPU / Motherboard, the Fenix program will not run when you login. I read this is linked to DRM, I contacted Fenix asking them for help, no response after 3 days. So be aware you may have to repurchase if you upgrade / change your computer in the future.
I just updated my CPU and MOTHERBOARD and RAM, all you have to do is login to your FENIX account and RESET your sim license.
Im not getting messages
👏👏👏👏
Have you abandoned the A32NX?
I guess it is very difficult to get back to the FBW after trying out the Fenix A320. FBW A320NX is a wonderful freeware aircraft and kept MSFS alive for close to two years, so I hope they continue, but they are still far away from getting the A320NX to the sophistication of the Fenix airbus.
Its imperial measure... 328,801 lbs
multiverse is real 36:50
Wish I saw this video before I bought it. Im sure its great for people that want it to be 100% realistic, but I just want it to be a little bit more easy like the other airplanes that does not nessesarely need Simbrief or something. So for me it was wasted money :(
Ahhhhhh!!!! What the bloody hell happened at the end with the confused narration. This was over the most important bit of the final load sheet that needed explaining. Might be worth re-doing that bit on its own as it's the key to all of the data. 😭
At 15:28 just round up to the nearest 100 kgs for alternate fuel. No need to round up 2-300 kgs more from the OFP. You want this data in the INIT B page to be as accurate as possible to give you real figures you can use. Round up, but don't overdo it! 👍
At 21:45 you said the runway was dry! Read the BLOODY METAR!!! 🙄🙄🙄
At 32:20, EO SID distance. 🤪
At 32:36. 😉
With enough tutorials from U if on a flight and aliens abducted the flight crew I could probably set up and land the plane survival skills +
I find the planning part of the flight simulator and simbrief annoying.
There is like 98% of no needed information that most people don't even know what is.
And like me, seeing more RUclips videos than playing just to get the route in without failure.
I think I'm just telling what many think!
