After 5 years not playing your tutorial is making me want to revisit fsx again
Honestly one of the best tutorials ever. Whenever I watched flight simmers fly any a320 I thought it was complex and confusing to fly. Turns out it ain't. Keep it up, my dude!
Great info again for flight simmers who are using the A320 for the first time which are not the same as a Boing so I'm sure they will be most grateful for the info you have given
Im so grateful for seeing a well done FMS tutorial on youtube for a intermediate like me on FSX, really like ur videos keep it up!
Glad to help!
Best a320 FMS tutorial ever, very complete and helps!
I agree
gree
This was the best video i have ever seen on how to train someone with the MCDU.
Some learn by reading; others by watching. I'm definitely a "watch" kind of learner.
But so many FSX videos overly complicate everything, swamping you with information that even the producer probably doesn't expect you to remember. And often, they're narrated in an excruciatingly tedious tone that first turns you right off, and, if you persist, just sends you to sleep.
But this series of videos really explains things in detail, but clearly and concisely, and with a voice that holds the viewer's attention. I've had a number of questions that these videos have answered; so much kudos for that. I'm sure plenty of other videos have done the same thing. The difference is that I couldn't endure those videos long enough to figure out the answer.
So thank you, Doofer, for producing useful, informative videos that answer questions efficiently, without confusing or boring the pants off your viewers. Basically, they do what it says on the tin.
Thank you for the very kind words Andrew. I took a lot of time, care and attention to write and design the videos in a way that would suit learners of all types (visual, auditory, kinesthetic etc) so for that to be recognised means a huge amount to me. One of my main focuses was to try and pre-empt any questions that viewers may have.
Just came across your A320 tutorial videos. Thank you. I think these are the best I've ever seen: clear, detailed, well-structured.
Thank you very much for the kind words. A lot of careful planning and consideration went into scripting this series of videos.
Hey mate, I’ve followed every single video you posted and flew the same route, almost identically, but at one point at cruise, the nose began to go up and down and I gained about 1800ft in altitude, but then I realized that the 35000ft inputted didn’t have the little circle, so I did it again and everything went fine, I DID TURN THE SEAT BELT sign on Incase anyone felt unwell 😂
Really good tutorials, I’ll fly the reverse leg tomorrow to see how well I coped with the info, will vary the STAR into LTN though for variety
A thumbs up just wasn't enough. Well done!
This really helps, I like the way you display the list of procedure and talk about what to do when there are complications. Thank you
You're welcome :) I aim to try and cover off any questions that people might have as I produce the video. So answer any questions before they're asked sort of thing
Well all I can say is that you're really good at it. Thank you for the reply!!! :)
Search up the charts eg EDDN charts.
@@Doofer911 what website did u use to find out the airways??
Where do you get your way points from pls.
Well Doofer, what can I say that hasn´t been said many times already, but I am going to say it anyway. I have been tempted for a long time to buy Aerosoft´s A321 but have been put off by the seeming complexity of setting it up. That was until I stumbled on your series of videos. So, yesterday I downloaded it and have completed 2 successful managed flights today, all thanks to YOU. I am 73 but you made it easy for me. Thank you so much.............Roger
Perfect description in details about MCDU thanks for the video.
Ive just decided to give the aerosoft version a go after using Project Airbus for many years. I read (or at least started to read) the manual, then I found this video...thanks so much, absolutely crystal clear. I note you dont use the built-in atc, so would be interested if you have done a video on last minute changes in runway/approach at destination
Wtf mate! That was amazing! Thank you so much! I'm just starting to learn how to do all the thing manually and this tutorial is super helpful. Take care.
Great tutorial and easy to follow. The only problem I had was on my end, my MCDU wouldnt show any SIDS which was really annoying. Keep it up man your a legend
The MCDU was causing me a lot of a confusion!, this video really cleared it up!!
When you talked about the "Init page" as a reminder you should add it's desirable to enter the ALTN airport, especially if you are flying in bad weather, or if you are unable to see the RWY on landing. Another note for passengers, fuel and flaps calculation. For this you can use the Aerosoft Airbus X fuel planner (Start menu-aerosoft-Airbus A320-321)
Your videos have been great. Interesting, to the point and easy to follow. Thanks for your efforts
Wonderful explanation!
I am very grateful to you, not only for your splendid explanation, but also for your style of talking. Even though I am not a native English speaker, I managed to understand everything perfectly.
I have just subscribed to your channel.
