I just want to give Punter a hug. It's so devastating as a fan, but I can't even imagine how it feels to be someone who knew him personally.

Ricky Ponting is the most mentally tough cricketer I have ever seen but seeing him break down this way is just too much. Warnie was more than a friend to him and its clear from this interview. Rest in peace King of Spin. We all miss you.

You mean king of spin!!!
I've never seen a man of Punter's caliber speak with a tone like this ever before. You can tell he's lost a great mate 💔
The greatest leg spinner to rule the cricket globe. Miss you Warnie 😢💔

Yes brother.warne was a legend of a guy.
Punter is one of the hardest cricketer emotionally. To see him in this state speaks volume of how much Shane Warne was loved and admired . This has to be the saddest moment for any cricket loving person. Warne was my hero growing up and I can feel the pain myself.
An amazing interview from Isha (she is so good!) and such heartfelt responses from Ricky (such a hard man, but so good). I’ve shed tears, he was a legend, and impacted so many.
Well said mate ^^^^

That's all in the field. Why do you think he is void of emotions? Lol.
@@techbuzz1507 who said that? Nobody here said that bro. Go kick your cat or something
The selflessness of Isa, Ricky and all of the cricket community who are sharing their thoughts, feelings and stories of Warnie with us all is phenomenal. A global community is in mourning, none more so than those closest to him, and yet they are opening up to all of us to allow us all to come together. Truly beautiful and something that cannot be undervalued. Truly beautiful ❤️

As a cricket fan but not an Aussie, I've shed quite a few tears since hearing last week about this tragic loss to our beloved sport even though I didn't personally know the guy! So can't imagine how worse it must be for the likes of Punter, all Warne's current & former team mates, his friends & obviously his family members all who knew him well. Condolences to all of them & pray God gives them strength to ease their immense pain & sorrow!
That moment at 12:58, when Ricky Ponting is trying to control his crying was so pure, I felt that! I grew up watching Australian cricket in the 90s and always believed that Ricky Ponting was the mentally toughest of them all! I guess that's what "mate"ship is all about!! RIP Legend!

Never seen Ricky be afraid of anything, not even a 100mph bouncer. But for him to not front up to this news and turn off his TV when he hears shane's voice shows the impact the GOAT has had on him. Thank you Shane, you will live in our memories forever. Every single kid who wants to try leg spin will have your influence in him.
Do you mean 100 mph ? 😅

I met Punter once after a North Melbourne game and although there were times I was very close to Warney I never got to meet him. I’m a bit older than Punter and a year younger than Warney and we all went through our twenties and thirties together and they were a part of my life. I used to live only a half hour walk from the MCG and during Summer it was like my second home. Seeing those two out there for Australia and/or Victoria for Warney was such a big part of my life. I didn’t know them as friends, they were stars I had fleeting contact with, but they felt like family and now one of them is gone…
The Team which dominated the world cricket for more than a decade. Gilly , Warnie , Ricky , Brett lee , Glenn McGrath, etc. 🥺♥️

When I was playing my fav line was.... Bowling Shane... Love from India for Shane..RIP
There're so many Cricket legends. There're a few great batsmen out there like Sachin, Lara, Sanga, Ponting, Kohli, Viv etc and a few great bowlers like Wasim and Murali (They both also in a different level to others), Glen, Ambrose, Dale, etc.. but with not much differences among them. No Spinner bowled like Warnie with that aggression. He was an artist and played like a warrior in the game. Shane was the Super legend no one can be matched. Rip Super Legend. From SL
The fox sports commentary is never gonna be the same. RIP king
These aren't just the tears of Punter Ponting.. These are the tears, in Everyone's Eyes.. We have felt that pain too - Punter.. Shane Warne was one of us and we felt the heart wrenching pain, because we felt so so so connected to the Common Man's Hero. GOD Bless the soul of the Greatest Leg Spinner and the wonderful Man, that Shane was & his family. AUSTRALIA - We stand with you.. Rest In Peace :(. I will also admit that since my childhood - like every indian, who wanted to bowl spin or fast, when it came to bowling Leg spin, I always copied Shane's action and even at the age of 38, while playing some friendly competitive matches, I have always had the vision of "Shane Warne" bowling the Batsman around the legs or beating him with a massively turning leg break delivery. That's an impact for lifetime. Thank you Shane, for everything.. 🤕 😭 and ur loss has pained a lot but we would always LOVE 💕 you. Pls Rest Now - O Master ! You have given an undying life to the art of LEG SPIN.. and the World is poorer without you but will cherish the memories and riches that you have shared during your lifetime, with everyone. 🕉️🕉️
We all feel the loss acutely Punter. I can't imagine what you and Gilly etc.. are are going through. Just so sad. And absolute titan of the game. Too young. RIP Shane Warne. You will be missed forever.
We all are feeling the same way like Ricky did. Pain , Agony and 😭
Warnie has Gone but the Magic of those 22 yards will continue forever
There will never be another Shane Warne
R I P Mate You were the best Simply the Best
The person Ricky is, there is no one better to pay tribute to the king than Punter. The robot cricket machine showing so much emotion to one of the greatest Aussies to ever hold a VB. Rip Shane. Heartbreaking.
Still i cant believe that he is gone. As Srilankan he is my favorite cricketer my hero even murali catchup him from wickets he is my #1 always forever. After 2004 tsunami he came to Srilanka i went to see him just to see him from Colombo to Galle and i ask picture with him we took picture together and i still remember to this day how cool he was with people that day. I dont hv words really. RIP LEGEND. We love you from Srilanka😢
I have never seen ricky so weak his entire life...this interview speaks volumes of his love and respect towards warne.
Rest in Peace Shane...
Feels like a part of my Childhood has died . I used to copy his bowling style and tried to bowl his variations after watching him bowl in a test match again and again 😢.Thank you for the memories Shane . For me he will always be the greatest bowler of all time .You will be missed
yes me too.. it is a dream to copy his bowling style
"Feels like part of my childhood has died". I perfectly understand that feeling.
Exactly my thoughts. My immediate reaction was I’m 35 and for the first time it hit me I wasn’t really a child or even young anymore. Warnie was such a huge part of my childhood that when he died it really felt like it was all gone.
I've been going back and watching the 2005 Ashes DVD over the last couple of days, I can't believe that anyone from that series has passed away, let alone Warne. I don't think i've ever felt so sad at a sportsperson's passing.
Poor Isa how hard it could have been for her doing this interview. On an emotional level I'm sure she's really down similar to all of us. But atleast staying strong until the end of the interview and not breaking down is hard. Poor Ricky doing these interviews and seeing you breakdown :(
May God give everyone the strength.
Prayers and thoughts are with Warne and his family.
You can really see Ponting holding back the tears here, the respect and love other cricketers had for Warney is unbreakable.
This is sad. I remember my time in Sydney, listening to live radio when he bowled that ball to Gatting.
Thank you for the memories Warnie.
Ricky is a tough man which we have all seen last 20 years, but we are seeing the other side. Your're a good man ricky..
Isha…you are so sweet and kind my goodness! Love this episode and you brought out the vulnerability of Punter . Shane Warne is King no matter what!
I am shattered that worlds greatest baller is no more . Entire India is mourning tragic passing away of Shane warne , Ricky ponting you are the best .
Ponting played the game hard, but he also loved hard, what a palpable display, the world has lost a genius, Ricky a brother.
He will be Forever In Our Hearts♥️

So very well said by Ponting. He’s not one to get emotional that easily. That what Warne does to the toughest of ppl.
He will be Always been remembered as the Greatest Leg spinner in this great game of Cricket ❤🙏
"Shane Warne" He himself emerged as a modern day "king of spin"He deserves everything in world cricket. It's really shocking till this movement. His magic fingers made wonders in the every pitch.we miss you spin king. Our Hartley condolences to his family and rest of cricket world.

Dear Isa, thank you. The sensitivity, the pace, and the space with which you have handled this conversation is a testimony to your professionalism and humility.
Shane was a real rockstar who lives every bit of life to the fullest... Gone too soon...
How special is that interview. Thank you very much Isa and Punter
It’s too hard to believe Shane Warne is no more. I grew up watching the golden era of cricket with Warne Murali Wasim McGrath Sachin Ponting Jayasuriya Lara etc. I still can’t believe this. On the other hand, he’s a man who lived with a open heart to the world.
Shane Warne was indeed a great Leg Spinner. He used to play with the mind and used his leg spin as his weapon to get out the batsmen. He used trick right from his first Ball of his career. He was devastating in his attack against all the batsmen he played. Batsmen were not having any clue to face his deliver it may be a flipper, googly, legspin and used to got out. Amazing to see him bowling and there wont be another Share Warne for sure. He was man with full of Confidence by which the Australian team's confidence was at Peak at 1990, Even his look on ground with cream on his face, Long hairs and chubby ckeek, . He looks very smart in all the Australian Jerseys
Pure genuine friend talking about his departed best mate.
Ricky ponting , Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne . Deadly trio. 🙏🙏RIP Shane Warne on his untimely departure from this world.
If Ponting has to tear up, it's heartbreaking😭 can't believe he's gone, I feel it being an Indian I can imagine how Australians feel..
That australian team was not just a team, was a family.

Gilly, ponting, warne ,mgrath..any team can't ignore then comes brett lee ,hayden symonds Martin jeez its like avengers assembled
There is so much to talk about the Legend that we the 90s kid might happily spend the remaining time to listen to his anecdotes. He was not just a gifted cricketer but he was what I would like to name him "INSPIRATOR". We all know that Cricket is a lengthy game and so there are some interesting and some dull moments but with Warne in action it was always the former. His 1 delivery was in itself a poetry in motion . That quirky run-up accompanied by antique theatrics as if hinting the batsman to bow down and just leave and that arm rotation with the follow through and if there's a wicket (not to forget the appealing style) what can I say about the ecstasy. I will miss you Warne , the world will miss you. May be it did not matter to me much personally when you were around but somewhere I had my childhood and youth engrained in you which made me fulfilling to know you were around but that's a complete void now. Wherever you are , keep bowling and keep smiling.
It still hasn't sunk in for me here in London that Warnie is gone. Ah, it hurts like hell. I've been alive now for 3.5 decades and haven't seen such mourning for any player in the UK press, let alone an Aussi. He truly was bigger than life and we are mourning over this loss as if we lost one of our own. It's so hard to process the emotions of losing someone with the Aura of Warnie, someone who felt invincible and yet so humane when you talk to him.
I hope you're having one hell of a party mate wherever you are. You'll be sorely missed not just in Australia but here in the UK, India, West Indies and South Africa as well. Hell, even my American friends heard about you through your exploits in Golf and were shocked. The only silver lining though is that you lived life on your terms and even though it was much too short, you did more in one lifetime than what anyone would do in 10.
Everyone dies one day..but not everyone lives. You lived life, king size! Rest in peace, king!
Gone too soon...💔💔💔💔💔
14:45 made me cry 😪😔🙇🏻
I'm just your average Aussie who grew up watching the greatest era of Australian cricket. For me, it's been a non-stop highlights and interviews Shane Warne binge. I've reconnected with and found a greater appreciation for the legendary S.K. Warne. Thanks for sharing this heartfelt interview, Isa and Ricky. Thoughts are with all who loved the man, there being so many of us around the world.
😭RIP Sir! I cried when i heard the greatest wrist passed away!

Feel for Ricky Shane something special simply the best. Loved watching him bowl Ricky and Shane two of the best
Still can't believe 😭😭😭

Shane , spinner of all time . seeing Ricky like this is making me more emotional.. A person loss is more for a friend than anybody ..
One of the best and emotional interviews I have ever seen... Straight from the heart... You will be a massive loss to world cricket.... Rip Warney
Thanks Ricky, have always been a big big fan of yours, and have always tried to inculcate your "on field- persevering attitude" in my daily life, for so many years now!
Was down since so many months, but your explanation on why Warne was so good and the Ashes 2005 story, has again motivated me!
Lucky to have watched players like you, Warne, Gilly, Bevan and many more all through my childhood and youth!🙏
all the 90's i watched ponting ,very solid world class ,one of my all time favourite batsman but yet rude and arrogant.watching ponting getting emotional just feels in d heart for how much he vll miss warnie.
there will be very few in the world who watched cricket , loved shane's bowling and didnt try to emulate his action atleast once.i definitely tried many times.
you watch gr8 bowlers bowling in 1990's for their bowling skill, but you watch shane warne for his aggression, personality and bowling skills.when he was on the field it was always engaging and entertaining.
rip shane warne.
Thank you Punter. Gone too soon, miss Warnie. Love you both, from India.
RIP WARNIE 🙏 the greatest of all time. And Ricky Ponting one of Australia's most aggressive captain's knew when it was time to go for the juggler in all conditions legend of a batsman i loved watching Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke at crease knew each other's game so well.
The king Shane Warne will never be forgotten so many memories when he got the ball the crowd lifted and knew it go time for the Australian's
Rip legend😭😭😭😭😭
Shane , one of the finest leg spinner. A big loss to world cricket. Thank God , I had opportunity to see Shane in action. Shane will be remembered forever. RIP SHANE .

We can't claim to know your emotions Ricky. Still, somehow yours tears felt in eyes. Greatest leggy ever Shane Warne.

That interview was really special. To you, Isha, my hat off to you. You are quite simply an amazing host. To Punter, my heartfelt condolences to you. My thanks to both of you sharing your thoughts on SKW, who in my view, is probably the BEST BOWLER(and not just spin) of all time,

Going to watch his 1001 wickets one day at a time.... will give me 3 years to grieve. RIP King
Gone to early! A legend who wouldn't have an easy replacement in bowling! God Bless his close ones to overcome this loss!
Ricky ponting is my all time favorite star I never see him as a emotional guy when he retired I stop watching cricket and about Shane warren he was magician of the ball when Ricky said I hear his voice and start crying I also feel sad it's about the time that you spend with teammates and actually when you lost someone of them it's hurt especially who are close friends Shane warren was a great legend that world's never be forgot Rest in peace Great legend ❤️

It was a privilege to watch him play. A pure entertainer and a hero of my growing up days.stil hard to believe he is no more . Miss u Warnie
Miss you legend 😢😢
My three love of the game : Ponting, Warned, and McGrath
No doubt Shane Warne knew this guy loved him. This was an extremely moving tribute to a friend and colleague. Just by his tone, respect and reverence alone, you can see what this means to Ricky Ponting. . A great bowler and captain combination, who alongside his team mates gave us English many a great game over the years.
Shane Warne was not only a great cricketer but a commentator and character too. We all mourn his loss, spectators and players alike. Besides the great gift he had he was a man of the people who made the us all smile, on and off the field. R.I.P SW.🙏❤️.x
Two beautiful people respecting a friend. Thank you.
Thanks Ricky for allowing us to mourn with you.
I have not seen bredman but for me Ponting is greatest batsman after sachin tendulkar under his captaincy Australia was unbeatble and Ponting, warne,Gilchrist and mecgrath were biggest reason for Australia's unbeatble journy
Punter got us all teary eyed. 😢
