The selflessness of Isa, Ricky and all of the cricket community who are sharing their thoughts, feelings and stories of Warnie with us all is phenomenal. A global community is in mourning, none more so than those closest to him, and yet they are opening up to all of us to allow us all to come together. Truly beautiful and something that cannot be undervalued. Truly beautiful ❤️

As a cricket fan but not an Aussie, I've shed quite a few tears since hearing last week about this tragic loss to our beloved sport even though I didn't personally know the guy! So can't imagine how worse it must be for the likes of Punter, all Warne's current & former team mates, his friends & obviously his family members all who knew him well. Condolences to all of them & pray God gives them strength to ease their immense pain & sorrow!

Never seen Ricky be afraid of anything, not even a 100mph bouncer. But for him to not front up to this news and turn off his TV when he hears shane's voice shows the impact the GOAT has had on him. Thank you Shane, you will live in our memories forever. Every single kid who wants to try leg spin will have your influence in him.

I met Punter once after a North Melbourne game and although there were times I was very close to Warney I never got to meet him. I’m a bit older than Punter and a year younger than Warney and we all went through our twenties and thirties together and they were a part of my life. I used to live only a half hour walk from the MCG and during Summer it was like my second home. Seeing those two out there for Australia and/or Victoria for Warney was such a big part of my life. I didn’t know them as friends, they were stars I had fleeting contact with, but they felt like family and now one of them is gone…

No Spinner bowled like Warnie with that aggression. He was an artist and played like a warrior in the game. Shane was the Super legend no one can be matched. Rip Super Legend. From SL

These aren't just the tears of Punter Ponting.. These are the tears, in Everyone's Eyes.. We have felt that pain too - Punter.. Shane Warne was one of us and we felt the heart wrenching pain, because we felt so so so connected to the Common Man's Hero. GOD Bless the soul of the Greatest Leg Spinner and the wonderful Man, that Shane was & his family. AUSTRALIA - We stand with you.. Rest In Peace :(. I will also admit that since my childhood - like every indian, who wanted to bowl spin or fast, when it came to bowling Leg spin, I always copied Shane's action and even at the age of 38, while playing some friendly competitive matches, I have always had the vision of "Shane Warne" bowling the Batsman around the legs or beating him with a massively turning leg break delivery. That's an impact for lifetime. Thank you Shane, for everything.. 🤕 😭 and ur loss has pained a lot but we would always LOVE 💕 you. Pls Rest Now - O Master ! You have given an undying life to the art of LEG SPIN.. and the World is poorer without you but will cherish the memories and riches that you have shared during your lifetime, with everyone. 🕉️🕉️

Shane Warne was indeed a great Leg Spinner. He used to play with the mind and used his leg spin as his weapon to get out the batsmen. He used trick right from his first Ball of his career. He was devastating in his attack against all the batsmen he played. Batsmen were not having any clue to face his deliver it may be a flipper, googly, legspin and used to got out. Amazing to see him bowling and there wont be another Share Warne for sure. He was man with full of Confidence by which the Australian team's confidence was at Peak at 1990, Even his look on ground with cream on his face, Long hairs and chubby ckeek, . He looks very smart in all the Australian Jerseys

There is so much to talk about the Legend that we the 90s kid might happily spend the remaining time to listen to his anecdotes. He was not just a gifted cricketer but he was what I would like to name him "INSPIRATOR". We all know that Cricket is a lengthy game and so there are some interesting and some dull moments but with Warne in action it was always the former. His 1 delivery was in itself a poetry in motion . That quirky run-up accompanied by antique theatrics as if hinting the batsman to bow down and just leave and that arm rotation with the follow through and if there's a wicket (not to forget the appealing style) what can I say about the ecstasy. I will miss you Warne , the world will miss you. May be it did not matter to me much personally when you were around but somewhere I had my childhood and youth engrained in you which made me fulfilling to know you were around but that's a complete void now. Wherever you are , keep bowling and keep smiling.

It still hasn't sunk in for me here in London that Warnie is gone. Ah, it hurts like hell. I've been alive now for 3.5 decades and haven't seen such mourning for any player in the UK press, let alone an Aussi. He truly was bigger than life and we are mourning over this loss as if we lost one of our own. It's so hard to process the emotions of losing someone with the Aura of Warnie, someone who felt invincible and yet so humane when you talk to him.
I hope you're having one hell of a party mate wherever you are. You'll be sorely missed not just in Australia but here in the UK, India, West Indies and South Africa as well. Hell, even my American friends heard about you through your exploits in Golf and were shocked. The only silver lining though is that you lived life on your terms and even though it was much too short, you did more in one lifetime than what anyone would do in 10.
Everyone dies one day..but not everyone lives. You lived life, king size! Rest in peace, king!
    Gone too soon...💔💔💔💔💔

A lovely tribute. Obviously Ricky is a very close friend and that must have been very hard for him. I'm gutted and I don't know him so God knows how Ricky must feel. X

We can't claim to know your emotions Ricky. Still, somehow yours tears felt in eyes. Greatest leggy ever Shane Warne.

That interview was really special. To you, Isha, my hat off to you. You are quite simply an amazing host. To Punter, my heartfelt condolences to you. My thanks to both of you sharing your thoughts on SKW, who in my view, is probably the BEST BOWLER(and not just spin) of all time,

No doubt Shane Warne knew this guy loved him. This was an extremely moving tribute to a friend and colleague. Just by his tone, respect and reverence alone, you can see what this means to Ricky Ponting. . A great bowler and captain combination, who alongside his team mates gave us English many a great game over the years.
Shane Warne was not only a great cricketer but a commentator and character too. We all mourn his loss, spectators and players alike. Besides the great gift he had he was a man of the people who made the us all smile, on and off the field. R.I.P SW.🙏❤️.x

I have not seen bredman but for me Ponting is greatest batsman after sachin tendulkar under his captaincy Australia was unbeatble and Ponting, warne,Gilchrist and mecgrath were biggest reason for Australia's unbeatble journy
