Nah, he inherited Waugh's unbeatable team
@@MLaak86 I agree. How can Ponting be the best captain when he lost about 3 Ashes series? Waugh won all of his.
It was always dissapointing watching England playing back when i was a kid but Atherton Thorpe Hick etc werent bad batsmen, the bowling quality was just unreal back then. Mcgrath and Warne for the Aussies, Ambrose and Walsh for the Windies, Donald and Pollock for SA to just name a few. Formiddable.
Mr McGrath was really something else, I just used to hope Brian Lara could be their for 45mins to get the feel of it? Otherwise 😢, he destroyed us the West Indies, and Mr Ricky Ponting was a terror with the bat, if you don't get him early like Lara 😢, we were doom, but I enjoyed watching all these legendary players of that Era.
This is amazing stuff to watch for any cricket fan
Whole India watching you ashes series the best , nothing like it . People ground crowds technology everything everything whatever they do they do the best England Australia forever
