A video of me tooling around my town. I'm sorry you don't like the song, LOL. Here is a link to the trucks build thread: dezertrangers.... Link to fiberglass: www.hannemannfi...
+THETOPGLOCK I didn't get a mic for the GoPro until recently. The only shots were you can hear the motor where taken with my phone. You can hear the truck in this video: ruclips.net/video/d3h3iZ7gB3Q/видео.html
I was wondering how many of them would get the reference 😎. Turns out very few of us... So why didn’t you use the Toyota for the video? Personally I like it!!
Zane Teunissen I stopped going with that truck after some guy freaked out and said he called the cops. I thought with how much they've been developing in that area it wasn't a good idea any more. Do you get bothered when you ride down there?
Christopher Ovrebo We haven't been bothered before when we go down there with our trucks, I was just down there earlier this week and nobody said anything to me
If you want some more exposer take your truck over to the TFL guys (The Fast Lane Truck) . They do some light off-roading but have a good size subscriber base. Nice job on the truck!!
Great vid. Did you build the truck? If so can you do a walk through vid. Showing how you built the truck. For instance where you got the plans, source for parts, and tools needed.
Thanks. I have built the truck over the years on a whim as money and time have allowed. No plans. Here is my build thread: www.dezertrangers.com/vb/threads/76373-My-I-beamed-Chevy?highlight=beam+chevy
+Dalton Cahn I never kept track of cost. I built it all myself. If you paid a shop, it would cost $20-30K+ in parts and labor. You can find used home built truck like mine for sale for anywhere from $8-20K+ but you never know what you are getting as far as built quality
hey do you think the frame of a 97 chevy worth keeping for a prerunner or should i just build from the ground up ? how much did you put into this project?
the four link you have is really unique, looks awesome. I see the Toyota prerunner in the drive way , I would like to build a Silverado prerunner. I was just wondering was the four link worth the time and money or would the deaver leaf springs work. Just wondering from someone who has one. thanks for the time
Thanks. I miss the Toyota. I sold it to get something with more room for my family off road adventures. My link setup is actually a 3 link. I've built several trucks with them and I think the next one will be a 4 link. I think 4 links do a better job of spreading the load out. If you have the time and money, linking a truck is always worth it IMO. Nothing rides like a linked truck.
Jonas Devenport Hanneman Fiberglass. I bought it almost 10 years ago now. I get a lot of people asking me on RUclips about it so I wonder if they no longer sell it.
Christopher Ovrebo thanks for the reply but I've done a lot of research and I think I'm going to go with a local company called McNeil racing. One more question; did you buy a kit for the front suspension or is it custom thank you
I've never kept track of the build cost. I just accumulated tools and materials when I could. If you paid a shop I'm sure it would cost you $20-30k+, sky is the limit. You can buy used home built prerunners like mine for $7500-17k all day. Its a mixed bag though on what you'll get.
+Dilion Cole I never kept track of cost. I built it all myself. If you paid a shop, it would cost $20-30K+ in parts and labor. You can find used home built truck like mine for sale for anywhere from $8-20K+ but you never know what you are getting as far as built quality
The music ruined this video. I wanted to hear the roar of the v8
+THETOPGLOCK I didn't get a mic for the GoPro until recently. The only shots were you can hear the motor where taken with my phone. You can hear the truck in this video: ruclips.net/video/d3h3iZ7gB3Q/видео.html
He should post one with and without music...
If I wanted music I know how to choose...
I need to make a new video. I'm not a fan of recycling footage.
Truck is awesome, btw
Christopher Ovrebo in this case, we'd not complain buddy.

I was wondering how many of them would get the reference 😎. Turns out very few of us... So why didn’t you use the Toyota for the video? Personally I like it!!
That would be a super soft cover of Huey Lewis and the news.
I was watching this and I was thinking “damn this place looks pretty familiar” then I was like fuck I live here lmao
I tried to finish the video but for fucks sake what a terrible song.

And done only in the best state.

Hey Marty, were you on your way to pickup Doc?
Hey man i have a 97 silverado and was wondering how much it cost you in total to turn your truck into a prerunner?
+Dalton Cahn I never kept track of cost. I built it all myself. If you paid a shop, it would cost $20-30K+ in parts and labor. You can find used home built truck like mine for sale for anywhere from $8-20K+ but you never know what you are getting as far as built quality
hey do you think the frame of a 97 chevy worth keeping for a prerunner or should i just build from the ground up ? how much did you put into this project?
I have 4 c10s. How yo i build the rails/cage/susp for this
I have a few c10s. Where do i find susp designs?
You should do a walk around on this truck and talk about all the parts

I-beamed chevy. Like bruce jenner before bruce jenner. Lol
I’ve got a prerunner and a C4 too
when you make a new video move the camera inside the cabin so as much of the tint is out of the shot as possible
Would you happen to have links to your front bumper and skid plate?
I added a link in the description.
Where is this at? Looks like poway ca?
Nope, its in Colorado
FoCo!
Where are those dirt roads? I'm in Colorado just scouting where you can pre run
Quinn Sweetman west end of 29th Street in Loveland

ok thanks. keep the vids coming
Where was the fiberglass purchased? I have a 94 sierra single cab long bed I want to turn into a pre runner and I'm having trouble sourcing fiberglass
One more question; did you buy a kit for the front suspension or is it custom thank you
Jonas Devenport I made the suspension. There are so many I beam Chevys though you'd think someone made a kit
Christopher Ovrebo I know right. Looks like I'm gonna have to get friendly with a welder.
Holy shit the music is awful. Let's hear the truck.
Urban off-road Ing in the dirt ?
Can you give a ballpark estimate on how much that Silverado build cost
I've never kept track of the build cost. I just accumulated tools and materials when I could. If you paid a shop I'm sure it would cost you $20-30k+, sky is the limit. You can buy used home built prerunners like mine for $7500-17k all day. Its a mixed bag though on what you'll get.
If I may ask where did you get the skid plate and front bumper from or is it custom fabricated ?
Joseph Bien I made it
Where did you place the mounts ?
Song remix name? It's good
IMVFilms I think the band is I fight dragons
Thanks
It's a Huey Lewis and the News song popular in "Back to the Future"
Did you make the bed cage yourself or get it manufactured?
Cristian Macias I've made everything on the truck
Is this the truck with a ford TTB swaped in???
James K no, that would be my Titan. It's in the video, as I pull out of the garage, on the street. it's bone stock at that point in time though.
that song sucked big time
I wanna Build one....
what is the name of the visor on your truck?
If you are referring to the visor clamped to the cage, its a Tusk UTV visor I shortened
+Christopher Ovrebo how much did the build cost ?
+Dilion Cole I never kept track of cost. I built it all myself. If you paid a shop, it would cost $20-30K+ in parts and labor. You can find used home built truck like mine for sale for anywhere from $8-20K+ but you never know what you are getting as far as built quality
Christopher Ovrebo I'm looking for something around 30k or less, has to be a chevy almost like your truck but yellow

dezertrangers.com/forum_/index.php?threads/my-i-beamed-chevy.76373/
