Motörhead were so much different from other hard rocking bands. They had something else. I don't know what it was but they had originality and a mystique - thank to Lemmy of course because Lemmy WAS Motörhead. RIP my old mate. We miss you.
Fucking incredible...Mikkey Dee is inhuman. He's gotta be one of the hardest hitting drummers ever...such an under-appreciated powerhouse in the world of metal.
This is Motorhead at their peak. I love the "classic" 80s era, but nothing beats 1990-2010 (thats around when Lemmy's health issues became very noticeable onstage and in interviews). And they got even better after Wurzel left...Lemmy's songwriting was at its peak during this time.
Seen this tour on 10/27/99 with Nashville Pussy opening. Meet Lemmy and Mikkey outside, back of the club. They were so loud. Place was a frigging madhouse. Such a great show and a awesome time.

Captures the raw power of them perfectly, just like when I saw them in the hummingbird in Birmingham 10 years before this gig. Hell of a band very sadly missed.
