    Besetzung:
    Lemmy Kilmister - bass, vocals
    Philip Campbell - guitar
    Mikkey Dee - drums
Dezember 2015 in Los Angeles.

There's a video of him struggling to play bass because diabetes had destroyed the nerves in his fingers. "It starts in your feet....." Lemmy said, but drinking Jack Daniel's and Coke and ignoring diet is a recipe for disaster as a diabetic. It was sad to see, but self-inflicted in many ways.

It was a pity to look at the man in this shape, it hurt. I had to check out several times. I admit that I didn`t expected his death that soon, but to all the people I spoke after the gig, it was obvious that this would have been the last tour. But the first thing Motörhead did after the Bad Magic tour is booking some extended dates into 2016! At least to me it was obvious that this wouldn`t work.

That set list was his testament. All the records are good, but Lemmy knew that his true legacy are in the old stuff. Phil and Mikkie are great, respect and gratitude for them. But mötorhead/mötormouth always will be los tres amigos. Lemmy, Fast Eddie and Phylty Phil. Lemmy at his prime, the blues of Fast Eddie, and the amazing groove from Phylthy Animal.

I had a ticket for a Glasgow gig by Motorhead. Lemmy took ill so they rescheduled it. A few days before the rescheduled gig, he took ill again and sadly before the third attempt at putting on the show at the O2 Academy, Lemmy passed away. Still got all three tickets in mint condition. I feel you. I had tickets to see Dio and Motorhead on a double bill in South Africa in 2001. Was cancelled when those cunts flew planes into the twin towers. Fast forward to 2009 and I'm in London to see Dio and Motorhead on consecutive weekends and Dio gets cancelled because he was ill (as we found out later, cancer) and I thought oh no, not again. Thankfully got to see Motorhead at Hammersmith Odeon (or whatever they were calling it then). Fucking fantastic. Never got to see Dio though. He was dead 6 months later.

Even a “slowed down” Motorhead is still fierce and can still more than hold their own.
In my humble opinion this lineup is still better than the other lineups. The “classic” lineup of Lemmy, Philthy and Fast Eddie were obviously great, but they couldn’t keep it together.
