Restoring and Refurbishing My 2006 Freightliner M2 106 Moving Truck - Big Rig Truck Build

Today we are preparing our freightliner M2 106 for the body swap! The restoration of this truck is currently underway, and we know it will be one of the best-looking moving trucks on the road once it's finished.
If you're wondering why we're restoring an older truck, the answer is very simple. The cost of a new under CDL moving van is upwards of $150,000. At that price point, it is very difficult to haul loads large enough to make a living. Restoring a reliable vehicle that we already own is a cost-effective no-brainer. We anticipate the restoration of this truck and refurbishment to come in under $15,000. This truck has a pre-emissions CAT C7 motor. That motor is very reliable and worth its weight gold. So, it would be foolish and a real shame not to restore this truck. This truck has many years of life left in it, and we are happy to keep it around.

I just started a moving company. I have exactly the same truck and I really need those ramp holders. If you still have them I would like to buy them from you . Hey Jeffrey! I really appreciate the kind words. I take a lot of pride in my and I'm glad it shows. I wish I could sell the.ramp holders from the video,.but I'm reusing them in the future. If you need a set, you can buy a new set by contacting Allvan and talking with their parts department. The ramp holders are very reasonably priced. You can also contact US Truck Body to purchase them from their parts department. Once you have them use a local welder to install them for you. You'll be very happy with either ramp holders option.
