Mit Coaching, Arbeit und Willenskraft bringen Schauspieler oftdie erstaunlichsten Errungenschaften zustande wie z.B. Helen Mirren im Film ,,Frau in Gold." Zeit, Geld und jawohl Talent ermöglichen vieles. In meinem Fall dient Autismus Spektrumstörung dazu: Als Pianist verfüge ich über eine große Zahl Werke, die ich auswendig kann, und Deutsch kann ich auch noch, obwohl ich nur selten Deutschen begegne. A little side note: I'm a Pennsylvanian through and through. One time I was on the phone with a friend on my lunch hour at work, and people heard me talking in German. One lady from accounting said she thought I was a German who lost his accent in English! I've lost a lot of things over the years; my German isn't one of them. Now if that don't put the pepper in the gumbo, I don't know what would!
Robin Williams’ Bicentennial Man was a lovely evolution of a robot, from metal to human. I see Dan’s as the jump right to humanoid, still with some robotic mannerisms. The trailer looks delightful!
The thing with Dan is that because he’s so handsome there’s not many leading ladies out there good looking enough to play his partner and that actress in the clip was just an example.
Did you even watch the movie? If she would've been a 'classic Hollywood beauty' the plot wouldn't really have worked. She is -meant - to be average, to even be unlikeable throughout most of the movie. That's the role. I also don't think Maren Eggert is not "not goodlooking enough"? She's just mature.
Please tell me that I’m Your Man is NOT dubbed. IMO the German language is the perfect milieu for this sub-genre Sci-Fi Rom-Com (that’s a lot of hyphenation). The language is as precise as Tom. For this film, English subtitles are absolutely correct. Hopefully it won’t be dumbed down for the American audience.
Saw this film a few days and i thought it was good. Funny seeing Dan Stevens in a German film where he speaks German throughout. Me: Beast/Matthew Crawley in a Sci fi that resembles Bicentennial Man. Cool

Ich hab grade ein Interview mit ihm gesehen, in dem er frei deutsch spricht. Er hat definitiv nicht nur die Worte im Script auswendig gelernt!
