Boat watching is a spic past time. Miss being underway everyday. For my birthday I asked to watch the tankers and cargo ships in the Houston Ship Channel.
Daughter played soccer at Nichols St in Thibodaux which is about 15 miles north of Houma. Probably a little farther to the ICW. Did drive through Dulac to Cocodrie while I was there, so sure I crossed it.
I’m sure you crossed over the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. Wowza you were in the bayou in Cocodrie. That’s the end of the road. I’m sure good fishing and shrimping there.
@@UnderwayDriftingNDreaming Yes, just stopped on side of road and threw soft bait and caught 3 redfish. Threw them back. Saw where you stayed, so yes I went over that bridge at marina. Didn't know that was GICW at time. Google maps doesn't always show it
@ three redfish 🎣 that’s so cool. Louisiana fishing is the best. We saw a sign for a tunnel in Houma just past the bridge. Never knew there was a tunnel under the river.
I like watching boats too!❤️⚓️

You might want to add some chain to your stern anchor. Just a thought. Safe travels.
@@russelloakes4852 thanks for the suggestion. We plan to add 6-9 feet of chain before heading back out in the spring.
