I own the R&M Delite - the single battery version, and I’ve had it since 2022. This electric bike has transformed my life. I use it every day. It’s my transport. It’s also a pleasure giver. I see things I wouldn’t have seen and as it is off-road equipped I go on paths I couldn’t have driven on, and make journeys I wouldn’t have taken. The running costs are effectively non existent and as it lasts, with care, more or less for ever, depreciation is negligible. The time it takes from A to B in towns is faster than by car. I pack wet/cold weather gear at all times for contingency, two locks for security assurance, its got anti puncture tyre liners and mudguards, so it’s practical and dependable. It’s got great lights, strong brakes with brake lights and mirror so it’s safe, and can travel trails home in pitch-black, safely. I carry loads like shopping and other bits etc easily. I often ride with my grandsons to school on their bikes so am getting them in to cycling too. This bike is smooth, reliable, comfortable and a real pleasure to ride and own. Yes, it’s a significant investment, but you will accept the point, ‘buy cheap, buy twice’, and when you make a change to one car plus an eBike, your total transport costs are significantly reduced. I would heartily recommend investing in one of these bikes and am happy to share my experiences with it. Thank you and hope you can make this journey too!

Beautiful bikes but far to expensive the boch motor and same size battery you can get in much cheaper bikes even in Halfords so really your paying for the name of course without the geard hub and rubber chain
Shem, your eye for eBike mechanics is not very commendable. With Bosch eBike components, you buy top-tier quality from one of the most reputable engineering and hardware companies on the planet. Sure, you might find eBike motors and batteries elsewhere cheaper, but Bosch sets the standard for reliability, performance, and innovation in the industry. While the price tag may seem steep, they are products that are built to last, with superior performance and durability.

Less carbon print, less car. I'm all for it. But every ebike like this or even cargo ones I have looked at... 110-120 kg max for the rider weight. It sucks. I'm 6'2'', no extreme obesity, cycling, longboarding for commute, but I've only been 112 kg naked and after ten days of COVID. All dressed (for winter/rain) I'm 125 kg easily. Yet. I'm riding slim chromoly fixie for three years now and 25km+ on so-so roads are fine. Except, I can't climb on long steep hills. Looks like no matter how much e-bikes is, it just can't handle nothing too special person like me.
Thanks for getting in touch. Riese & Müller Delites, Superdelites and Homages can withstand your weight. We have had many customers above 125kg who ride these bikes. Feel free to get in touch for more info if you're in the UK!
@@FullychargedUK Thank you for finding time for reply. I'm moving to Europe this November and one of your stores is at my list to check once I'll be visiting UK. I downloaded today the R&M e-bikes manual. The models you have mentioned have maximum riders weight listed as 110 kg. My concern if riding over this weight limit is going to cause warranty repair issues under company paid lease. Charger, Supercharger and Nevo maximum rider weight is listed as 125 kg (25 km/h models), btw.
Yes, this may be true, but the quality of components and technical specification is un-paralleled as to many other bikes. Of course, this is an A-List eBike, it doesn't get much better... but it is built to last.
Nobody cares why you chose that, because it’s 5 times more expensive than many other great brands priced below $2000, and it’s way over rated, and very few people can afford to waste thousands of dollars. But hey if you want to throw away your money, and then brag about it, to justify your poor decision, far be it from any of us to stop your charade.
Just the rohloff hub costs $1500 so I don't think your $2000 bike can compare. The bikes youre talking about are not great. They are cheap, china made and won't last. Every single component on the delite is top quality, way more reliable and backed with warranty. The seemless integration, the comfort, it all costs money. Riese and muller are one of the only brands that even have full suspension with the gates belt and rohloff speedhub. It's unique and a beautiful bike. You aren't getting a bike like this for $2000.
I am sorry but for me a throttle is an absolute necessity. Whether on dirt or in city a throttle gives me the necessary contol. I am retired and ride everyday, half of my riding is on dirt trails. I am pissed because the Euroeans make fine e-bikes. There is absolutely no contest as far as a throttle is concerned. The nuance and control with a throttle and safety comparisons are not in the same ballpark as pedal assist only. Please you stubborn European dictators add throttles to your foreign sold e-bikes.
If you have a throttle on your e bike then you need to comply with what is stated by law. You need a CBT test and number plate bracket and maybe insurance as the bike will be classed as a motorcycle. If you get caught you may suffer the same fate as a motorcyclist without those things. Pleading ignorance won't cut it either

@@maxcj25 yes boch are good but can buy the same motor and battery on a different model brand new bike at Halfords for 2k I mean some if these bike are 10 thousand pounds and ime certainly not a bike mechanic but I've built a few for personal use one of my bikes has the bafang bbshd which has double the torque of the boch double the performance its now done 20.000 miles with no problems and you can buy the motor and battery for 1k so like I say 10k just isn't justified but yes they are beautiful bikes but ime also not your target buyer rich old people in London probably are
@shemgresves6712
Of course you're entitled to your opinion but you are not comparing apples with apples here. Bafang and Bosch are 2 very different levels of performance and quality, hence the price.
@@kostyafedot551 thank you for downloading our eBikes for Business Guide!!! You will be fine, trust!
At possibly 16 times the price for some of their offerings. Ahhh…..no!
Yes, this may be true, but the quality of components and technical specification is un-paralleled as to many other bikes. Of course, this is an A-List eBike, it doesn't get much better... but it is built to last.
I paid 1500$. For my ebike. 750 watts and destroys hills. This is way overpriced. It is prettier than mine tho.
How much km do you a year ?
There isn't a sub-$2K ebike on the market that isn't a piece of shite.
If it has a throttle then it is a motorcycle and not a bicycle.
Always wear a helmet.
Which is why it's a great decision that Tristan wore the Hövding 3.0, the worlds safest airbag that is up to 8x safer than a traditional helmet. You can find more information surrounding the Hövding here: hovding.com/
@@FullychargedUK fair one. Court me out 😉
@@ontheroad2279 easily done!!! They are nifty products! Hope you are well and Happy New Year.
@@FullychargedUK and you!
@@FullychargedUK doesn't seem like much protection. Stated inflation time is 0.1 second, at 30 mph that's over 4 feet. In a head-on collision that gets reduced by half. NO THANKS!
