Hey Asia. Great video ❤FYI on the flour, before you store your flour in the Mylar bags, make sure you put it in the freezer for 24 hours then let it dry, then store in the Mylar . This will kill any weevils and not destroy your flour. Great job on building your pantry ❤😊

I pressure canned chicken over the Christmas break... but didn't feel comfortable about it and ended up just freezing it. After looking at a number of videos, I think I may give it a go again.

Def give us an update on that hydroponic grow table, it's so cute. My grow stuff takes up a lot of space, stacking functions like that in the house would be awesome.

Check local churches to see if they have a monthly food pantry and clothing giveaway drive. A few churches in my area have a once a month Saturday food pantry and they have clothing that they give away.
I agree with Sandra to save the meat to make a stew/soup! If not for you, then make a pot for a neighbor!

I made rice seasoning by dehydrating some herbs from my vety small, low producing garden.. I added other pre powdered herbs (i.e. garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, etc.)..... I feel do accomplished 💪🏾... I also plan to use it when I stew beans and in sauteed veggies, rtc
When I first started gardening, I tried growing everything and quickly realized everything is not going to grow for me due to limited sun exposure, etc. Hence, i do what works and enjoy my micro harvests when I have them. 🌱💚

You inspired me to turn my backyard into a full garden my husband has built me some garden beds and everything is coming along
have you done corn in grow bags?
I had much success with that last year here in Virginia.
As far as canning I absolutely love it I water bath everything I use to be an extreme couponer but now I stock my pantry with foods that we canned. make it make on RUclips has a beautiful soul I have learned alot from her. I also enjoy making soaps that can be another thing to try is to make soaps with lye it’s super easy and so much fun!! Also storing flour is great as well as storing rice!
I enjoyed the video as always take care! And God bless.

Happy to hear you have had success! Virginia has good weather for a good amount of time in a year for growing! I love Make It Make. I haven’t watched her in a while but I’ll go visit her soon. Thanks for the reminder. Thank you!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed! God bless as well!

Oh My Asia! Your subscribers are so sweet and informative. I came here to recommend that you check out the possibility of using an electric canner to ease you back into canning, and I got caught-up reading all of their comments!
Some of my friends use and love their electric canners. They say it’s less stressful and doesn’t require much monitoring.
RUclipsrs that use electric canners (and impress me) include Rose Red Homestead. She has decades of experience, she’s retired and devoted to her RUclips community.
Another RUclips channel is “at home with Holly”. She is a single mother with excellent teaching skills, she’s laid back and I think you’d enjoy her personality and her homestead.
I’ve said enough 😂. I hope others chime in with their positive experiences using an electric canner.

@@slhemp3556 I waterbath everything it’s a very simple way of canning just like our ancestors done back than, we must get back to the roots of things electric canners are very modern day style of canning and if the electricity goes out it’s practically useless,
make it make has a wonderful channel on RUclips and she utilizes what she has and tackles the old school way of doing things.

I may do micro greens using recycled plastic containers. Dollar Tree has micro green seeds.. but my local store hasn’t placed the seeds out yet. I have plenty of radish seeds and may use those for micro greens. My new AeroGarden hydroponic system is up and going, but I also did a couple of Kratky containers.. one using a coffee creamer container and one using a milk carton with coffee pods.

@reneesellers9708 This is a great idea! I’ve call AMVETS in the past and they picked up the bags from my front porch!
The following is from an online source:
“AMVETS. Call to schedule pick up of needed items.
Membership in AMVETS is open to anyone who honorably served or is currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves. AMVETS has made a long-term economic impact by providing assistance, jobs, and services to veterans and their communities for more nearly 80 years”.

YES, YES, please find a shelter or coat drive. Goodwill is overrun with donations, so whatever doesn't sell gets thrown away or sent overseas. I have found a domestic violance womens shelter to donate my clothes and household items so the women can start over.
If we watch you, we trust you. So sponsored products are great, because they are good for you.
