It was mentioned that Frieza's father King Cold told his son that he was to never challenge Beerus or Majin Buu, indicating Frieza wouldn't have stood a chance. Plus even he was surprised to hear from his loyal minions that Goku even manage to beat someone like Buu who was almost impossible to defeat. I wouldn't count that scenes with all the DBZ villains in hell since that's considered filler.

Worst suggestion to watch the movies first and then the series lmao. That’s the biggest mistake these youtubers do. The episodes are dreadful slug fest especially if they have already seen the main points of the arc by seeing the movie. So no, they definitely need to watch the arcs first and then the movie to compare it, and gladly that seems to be what they are doing
the problem that I always had with this episode is that king kai is the one making the connection to the people of earth. Like the bit of asking earthlings for more power is such a weird inconsistent scenario with every single occurrence of King Kai talking about communication like that. I don't think they should have given it more than like 10 seconds of realizing King Kai would just cancel communication.

Now he had the chance to use the Dragonballs to revive earth, then ask Kibitoshin to bring Gohan, let him finish off Buu. Goku gets, what he wants, Gohan takes over.

The last time in DBZ when the villain was too strong so instead of being the strongest fighter they had to outsmart the villain. Vegeta may not be the strongest but in terms of strategy he's one of the best, he was a better fighter than buu because he was smarter not stronger
