Vegeta's epic line about pride🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Vegeta always had this animosity towards goku, and it constantly stemmed from goku always being one step ahead of vegeta when it came to shattering personal limits. No matter how much power vegeta gained....goku always somehow ended up becoming more powerful....and his animosity arguably got worse in the cell saga because not only did goku outclass him....but gohan outclassed him...who was only like 10-11 years old at time....imagine knowing a child could beat the brakes off of you at any moment lmao.
@LuckyDalton-gh5hg that's only a recent rumor that Goku doesn't work hard for his gains. Even if Bardock made the wish, it wudnt have meant anything if Goku didn't put in the grind. Vegeta actually started off a lot stronger for years as a young adult. Goku didnt start to eclipse Vegeta until after the gravity training, during namek.
Now, i can say Goku had the better mentors due to their upbringing. King Vegeta died pretty early. Vegeta had surpassed Nappa. Then there's Frieza...
But thanks to the recent gods Kakarot & Geets are now on equal footing.
@LuckyDalton-gh5hgsticking to the confines of DB not Super Goku trained under different masters cuz he's a Martial Artist and true fighter in every sense of the word. Vegeta is a brawler who for the better part of his life was stronger then Gokuby a FAR margin. And like working out in the gym by yourself you can see some gains and get stronger on your own, but to see real progression you need someone to show you how to maximize your time. Plus it seems to be far more fruitful to train with someone.

@LuckyDalton-gh5hg Vegeta had a huge edge over Goku from jump, Goku was playing catch up even during there first fight. Plus vegeta salty at a loss he didn't even truly lose, if he's upset cause he had to transform or cuz Goku truly pushed him to lengths he believes he should have needed that one thing. Goku lost that first fight, and Vegeta got jumped by a half breed child, a midget, and a obese man with a sword lol

SSJ2 Goku vs Majin Vegeta is one of the best fights in all of DBZ.
Imagine growing up you're entire life knowing youre one of the most powerful warriors, as well as royalty, suddenly your entire race is wiped out by someone rules over you and keeps you under their heel for the majority of your life. You grow stronger and more fearsome becoming so sure youre invincible because youre the last of your kind when suddenly a survivor of your race who is considered lower than you gives you a humiliating defeat. After this same person becomes so much stronger than you that they take down the very tyrant who made you a slave that you dreamed of taking down yourself. Years later you work your ass off and believe youve made so much progress only for him for once again pass you up. Thats what Vegeta has been feeling so years.
most of wouldn't know how that feels , being the best , prince humiliated turned into a slave and then years later being clowned on , it's like the whole universe is showing him what a worthles persone he is , it would piss me off just thinking about it , well after buu saga we know what happened to vegeta , i'm not gonnah say it cause she might read it and spoil her vieuw lol .

his hate isn't just towrds goku , listen word for word to vegeta's speecch , his resentment didn't start from his intereactions with goku , he was a slave since he was a small child .

Vegeta is a man who lost himself when goku came into his life.
He already knew of frieza being pretty much unsurmountable at the rate he, vegeta, was gaining power but he never gave up. Goku is the one that caused him to have real doubt in himself.
He couldnt let this one go because goku far surpassed him at this point in their lives when vegeta was supposed to have the lightest potential of all saiyans and goku the lowest.

Vegeta wakes up everyday with beat Goku in a fight as the number one thing on his to-do list, Goku was dead for about 6 something years in Vegeta still had it written on his to-do list, so you best believe when Vegeta gets an opportunity he thinks he can beat Goku, he's going to take it

This episode was great episode. Christopher Sabat killed as Vegeta with his speech. But it not surprising that Vegeta did what he did. His whole purpose was to enter the tournament and defeat Goku nothing else matters.
If you paid close attention you can see that Vegeta was getting frustrated and deseparate that with Goku only appearing on earth for a day. He will never get a chance to fight him. So he allowed himself to be control kill lots of people was enough to force Goku hand and give him no choice but to accept Vegeta challenge.
You can say Goku is somewhat excited because things are different since their last fight during the Sayian Saga in which they were just regular black hair Saiyans but now they're both Super Saiyans. sasuke also had trauma and a dark past just like vegeta , both lost their familiy do to other evil controling bastards and never fully got to have their revenge on their vilain .

@@deadriyah I see, well I grew up watching Dragonball z, it was a big part of my childhood and watching anything but the original is literally unbearable to me because I consider the Bruce falconer version to be perfection.

Shunsuke Kikuchi started working on Dragon Ball since 1986, Bruce Faulconer only changed the soundtrack for the American dub, and he only started around 1998, so no, he ain't the original cut at all, Kikuchi is. + not to mention the fact that most of the soundtrack wasn't even done by him but he got all the credits for it let's not forget that too.
