Goku was such a perfect character in dbz man i miss this version of goku people say goku has not changed but i think he did for example super goku is very chill and goofy and he never care what the situation is he always say some dumb dialogues in super but Z goku serious when needed even with his friends and family you can watch these 2 scenes first one was when he anonunce that gohan and vegeta are dead that's the seriousness missing in super second is when he shouts at his own kid goten and trunks and order them to train and the way he tells them that gohan and vegeta are dæd that's what i want goku to act like this is his best version serious but when needed not always like vegeta knows what is in danger like in this arc earth and the people are dying he was getting more and more angry as time passes because innocent people were dying by the hands of majin buu but now in Super they don't even care they have become soft they always rely on gods help (beerus and whis) or dragon balls they don't do everything on their on even to achieve ultra instinct ssj god ssj blue all these transformation was a result of training under gods so yeah they have relied too much on god these days what i want is someone somehow erase all gods but not our main crew just remove their godly transformations and gods angels and somehow remove dragon balls too or make it like they can use it but only in like once in a 10 year gap something like that lock the dragon so that no one can use it to do anything and then we will see how goku and vegeta will reach ssj 4 on their own

The girlfriend always has a foresight about something that's foreshadowing in the DBZ world, she's really good at using the process of elimination to have an understanding of things, it goes to show that DBZ had amazing writing, everything was coherent back when DBZ was on a roll, unlike in dragon ball super where some characters forget events that took place in DBZ, Akira Toriyama had to really pay attention to detail back in his prime, I remember seeing future trunks Capsule Corp logo on his shoulder when he first arrived and started thinking hard about how could that be possible, and how when cell blew himself up only to come back stronger because of his Saiyan DNA, unfortunately Dragon ball super didn't have that much depth, I think Toriyama Sama was tired at the time that he made it, I still have the utmost respect for that man though, nothing can take away from his legacy, he's the king of anime and I don't think that DBZ can ever get overshadowed by any anime, definitely not while I'm alive.

When you said that "people should do what they want as long as they're happy", my question to you is, " what if a person loves doing Evil things to others because it makes them happy? Should they continue doing that because it brings them Pleasure? We should enjoy life, but our first thing that we should worry about is Repentance from Sin and Putting our Faith and Trust in The Lord Jesus Christ, making sure We're right with God before we leave this Planet, God Bless you two.

If you're ever interested in watching an older anime, Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X is a great one to check out. I'd actually suggest the English dub for the series. You could choose either language for the OVAs although I would probably suggest the Japanese audio with subs for those. It gets pretty dark. In saying that, if you did choose to watch those, I'd say watch the series, then go to the OVAs. You'll get a vague back story for Kenshin during the series and I think the Trust & Betrayal OVA is the one you would most want to watch afterwards at least.
