The Buu arc is so dark when you think about it. This episode illustrates it well. The only resistance against an existential threat such as Buu on the planet left are literal aliens - Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, and miraculously, Ultimate Gohan. Meanwhile, the only surviving human (Last Man on Earth narrative) Hercule is traveling in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with his dog. And he's terrified to see the Megaton-sized mushroom cloud on the horizon, that Buu has unleashed from his casual self-destruction attack against Gohan, horrified that what was his new best friend is still nuking the planet. I swear, if filmmakers would actually try, they could make an absolutely epic Dragon Ball film saga for the masses. It could rival the Lord of the Rings trilogy if done right as a sci-fi fantasy epic.

The Dark Tournament - honestly rivals if not bests some of the tournaments in DBZ. It's so good 😈

Thank you for your reactions, I enjoyed so much. I can speak Japanese, so I noticed a big difference between the dialogue in the English version and the Japanese version. In the English version, Vegeta asks Goku to join his team so they can rule the universe, but in the Japanese version, Vegeta just tells Goku that only low-class warriors will be sent to a remote planet, and there is an insurmountable gap between the low-class warrior (Goku) and the elite warrior (Vegeta). I think the dialogue in the original Japanese version better reflects Vegeta's pride in his identity, and I hope this information will be useful. Thank you guys again.

I prefer Gohan in his ultimate form. He's a lot stronger now than when he was Saiyaman. This is how Gohan should have been, if he kept on training all those years.

It's a catchphrase or verbal tic similar to Naruto's "dattebayo" and Sakura's "shannaro" (which inner Sakura says sometimes). Mainly, only Sasuke uses it when referring to Naruto in the show. It doesn’t directly translate to "idiot" like "baka" does, but it can be a nicer way of saying "idiot" because it feels more personal. This is one of the perks of watching with subtitles because in dub some times they make sasuke say "you idiot" or "you loser", although still not many people realize it.
