It's just a good knife. Definitely want to see more crossbar locks from Civivi. Down for an XL Yonder: keep the blade the same height and stretch it to 3.5".
Exactly what I thought. Civici/WE manages to make so many great knives. Just most of them are at the 3" range. Wish they'd step into more l/xl knives at 3.5" plus. Love the blade shape on the yonder. Just wish it was a bit bigger.
OK. Joining the petition. Bring on an XL, But keep that awesome slicey thin blade. They did a thin blade on the huge Balthair and it is a slicing demon for its size.
I love this knife. It’s not intimidating, is a usable size for most tasks, the belly slices well, has a good piercing tip, a great lock and a fantastic price.
I realized with the time that one of the best quality an "edc" has to have is the discrétion. I don't want people running out out the restaurant calling 911 if I have to grab my edc. The Yonder is for me very good. Small, solid nice blade shape and finnaly à crossbar lock. Thanks Civivi 😅
In my experience, Civivi's black coated blades scratch very easy. They are worse than even Kizer's black wash. I pretty much just stay with stone wash or satin finishes on less expensive knives. The one exception is CJRB which actually seems to have a more durable black coating.
I ordered the wood one a couple days ago and supposed to get it tomorrow. I’m usually a bigger knife guy, personally, but pretty excited to try a nice compact that I can take anywhere.
This knife with a top liner button lock like in the Vosteed raccoon. I’d love this with that locking system. Kizer do the top liner button lock I’m glad Spyderco patent expired for the compression lock
I am still upset I missed out on the Pre-order on the Wood scale Damascus version because it was only $55 & I think a GREAT deal but maybe 1 day if I can get this at a deal again I will pick 1 up
The depth of the belley changes everything when it comes to feel (go ahead joke monsters). Handle is usually more broad if the belly is bigger. Heretic medusa is a 3 inch knife that doesn't feel small at all. Spartan harsey shf has a 4 inch blade, but the stitch feels much more massive with a 3.75 inch blade.
Its too bad he quit doing youtube his channel was a real gem. Edit: Jeez havent look in a while he deleted the video saying he was quitting youtube...if anyone wonders thats why there was a 10 month gap in his videos glad he is back at it✊️💪
Blade thickness is impressively thin but the factory angle was so high the edge dulled immediately and I couldn’t even get through a piece of cardboard without binding.
It's crazy to me that some of these companies put such a high angle edge on the knives from factory. And it's not just budget stuff either, I recently got a mini Arius and it was 25° per side. It cut like crap and wonder do the Koenig employees actually sharpen their own knives like a wedge.
My girlfriend said I'm not allowed to go to Blade HQ since I purchased the Stitch...😅 If she could put parental settings on my phone she would block it LOL

On board with an XL model for sure. 3.5-3.75 range would be awesome.
Same gird but longer.

@kwongyeang OH absolutely! Keeping the thon blade is a must.
Zac is such a wholesome dude. Watching him and Jamie or Ben talk knives and have fun is always a good time.

I wish they would have offered it in "Wild Blue". I'd love to have a Wild Blue Yonder.

Does that really happen or are you just spewing fear mongering BS?
He should definitely make a larger version that would be an amazing outdoor combo
Maybe a larger fixed blade version
@ yes 👍🏼
I have one on order and it should be here in a few days. Can't wait.
Zak is cool , he's down to earth seems to always be true to his self and honest.

I’m excited for mine to get here, this review validates why I got it and why Zack made it. Absolute edc beater
I think the scratches give some style to this knife ..! ^^
I love my yonder. It's near the perfect edc, for any job. And it won't break the bank to have.

The inspiration in this knife from the HK Mini Axis (one of his and my fav knifes) is very apparent. I wish they hadn’t discontinued it.
Oh wow I didn’t know that, never heard of that knife before either but you can definitely see the similarities
Great size for EDC, love the bladeshape !!
That's funny, first cross bar. I pulled a brain fart too. I laughed out loud! Thanks for the funny start to my day! ( It's 5:30 am )

Zac is one of my knife heroes. MC is on that list too! 😆⚔

That was definitely not my experience

Good thing thats an easy fix
The hole in the clip is not for lame lanyards it’s so you can get to the screws and take the stupid clips off completely
😂 I think he knows but maybe other people don't.
Lmfao I'm dumb. I thought the pattern was intentional to look like marbling.
At first I thought civivi was getting super sloppy on that already-weird damascus they do lol.
Great review! I own the wood version. Perfect compact knife.😊
Its a new HK Axis, cool blade
My girlfriend said I'm not allowed to go to Blade HQ since I purchased the Stitch...😅
If she could put parental settings on my phone she would block it LOL
Need an XL version
The pocket clips are what kill a bunch of budget inives
Welcome to Earth-1218, MC!
My ONLY criticism is the thumb studs. Wish they stuck out a little more or were slightly farther down
Even the baby banter has a big clip
I'd be all over it if they got rid of that top swedge leading to the tip and it was a clip point. Like it other than that though
Спасибо за обзор металлический комплекс
Is Wobble Play a thing I need to watch out for now? Damnit Complex, stay outta my head😂
Yeah? Does it have cpm s110v or 90v or magnacut steel?😂
WOW ,looks like somebody was using the wrong edge for cutting. 😂
Goat 🙂↕️
you can tell he carried this knife by how damaged the dark wash is......
6:51 let me know if you notice what I did. 😆 🤣 😂
Slightly smaller Raccoon Cleaver clone. ?
No
how dare your wife come home lol
That knife looks like it was ridden hard and put away wet.
Erster😊
I cant stand crossbar locks.
He got the chance to design exactly the knife he wanted and decided he wants a knife that already exists 10000 times.^^
So... It's just a banter ?
Does it look like a banter to you?
@jordy703 yes
Nobody wants doofy ding dongs.
Honestly i think its an ugly looking design
Boring knife
That's the point.
Not everything has to be flashy and adorned with useless accoutrements, like ur mom 😅
There’s a lot of gas station knives for you
