    It's unusual. Prior to this cruise, I rarely if ever saw the two of you order the same things for a dinner. But this cruise, you two are matching exactly.

    Good to see you guys! We were in Falmouth back in 2015, on a Royal ship, we were supposed to go Ocho Ríos and got switched. Went on a ship tour and it was very nice. That port that you showed is all new, there was nothing when we were there.

    As a RUclips rabbit hole likes to do, I just stumbled on this video this morning and enjoyed watching the Falmouth ship excursion... despite the fact you never went into Falmouth. 😂
    With a 20-year history in Jamaica, it bothers me a lot that the sleepy little fishing Village of Falmouth became a port, all the stuff you showed I can never see because it is all exclusive to the ships and the tourists, even the first 3 minutes of the port itself I cannot go shop at because they won't allow the public in...so it was cool to see all the stuff you showed that I'll never experience. But if you ever sail through there again be sure to go into the town, it is very quaint and historical although it has grown exponentially since the port was built there, and doesn't quite have the same feel that it did 20 years ago

    We LOVED Good Hope Estates!! My daughter Naomi and I did the big package since we were there for a whole day: we did ziplining, river tubing and also enjoyed the jerk chicken meal. They do have another big area where you meet up for the zip line/tubing with lockers and a store. We thought this area was absolutely stunningly beautiful, and I enjoyed those waterfall pools and the fun water slide as well!
    I loved that you got the exact same dinner - that's definitely something new! Much love to you both!!

It was so nice and interesting climbing the pools to the waterfall. We took the slide down. The food was great and again i felt prepared knowing what y'all ordered. We didn't get french fries as a option though but no worries those fried bread was my favorite. My picky eaters ordered because i assured them the sauce was on the side and it was. I really think scooter riders need to pass a driving a scooter on a cruise ship test. We just got off the Ecstasy and this one lady tried to run my 8 year old son down a few times. Others said she did the same thing to them. Saw her doing Peach Schnapps’s shots and I think she was drinking it all day long. She was going over peoples feet in the Elevator’s and pretty sure she was the Dining room breakfast disaster we heard about. Someone on a scooter knocked down a whole row of chairs and never stopped once. On the Mardi Gras last April it was very dangerous to be around The Scooter People. Not saying all who ride one are dangerous but enough of them are to notice.

    Why sell stuff knowing full well the tourist can not bring aboard the ships ??

    • @parodeejay
      @parodeejay  Год назад

      Certain ports don't allow certain items through, so presumably the vendors wouldn't (or shouldn't) be selling things like conch shells, knowing that they're not allowed through to the ship. I’m thinking maybe people found the shells out and about, and we’re trying to bring them back onboard, but we weren’t sure. Sometimes we've seen souvenir-approved shells that have maybe been processed and coated with a protective clear layer, versus a plain ol' conch shell fresh off the beach. There's a lot to think about with organic-based souvenirs, sand, and things like that for sure!!
