Test rode the Diavel 1260S and was a hooligan and in sport wanted to wheelie; but had nowhere near the roll on 40-80mph thrust, stability or road presence or the near the mid range to the Rocket 3R but you needed to have a the quick shifter to stop crashing into the low redline, my back after the Diavel test ride (2hrs) was trash for 4 days afterwards, 🤕 do fancy the XDiacel and I think that L Twin is a classic 😎 but the Diavel ride position was much more standard ❤ 😈
I have xdiavel 1262, very fast if you rev it through the gears. So far I have done 240kmph at 8,500 rpm. Really need a small screen and better roads to go faster though. Handles great, and stops on a dime! Only criticism really is that on long rides my low back hurts (broke my back in 1988).
Good vlog, shame about the weather. I hope the V4'S MPG in the Diavel is better than in the Multistrada!

Test rode an XDiavel, love the looks, really wanted to get it as I was keen to go down the cruiser path but still wanted performance. Unfortunately my lower back was not happy after an hour or two. Shame as I still really like it. Ended up buying the Ducati supersport. Maybe I'll give it another go....
Someone advised to custom make the arm bar..bring it a little closer for a more comfortable position

Good video mate. I have same bike but in the stunning iceberg white. These are bikes we should never part with. Just are on wheels with beast like power snd cool factor is off the fecking skale.
Muscle bike is a perfect description. Have you tried a V-Max? It could also be considered a muscle bike. This XDiavel S is the best of the current bunch. The new V-4 will be incredible, I am sure. I look forward to your review.
The feet forward thing started on Harley’s was the engine so still cuz of long stroke. The seat had to be placed further back from engine. Harley riders with that parachute rider type ergonomics. Many pull handlebars back into lounge chair position. Not good for safety

This is a completely different bike than the Diavel other than the tires lol it’s a 1262cc forward pegs, belt driven, tear drop tank, and V Twin. Yeah not a cruiser at all 😂

Lighter bikes need less torque
Harley like a tractor engine which runs out of breath very fast.
Heavy large pistons and long stroke engine is not fast at revving.
