Just got the edge an if you are on the fence … don’t hesitate. Played cod an saw a huge difference in trigger response time , movement. The trigger sensitivity is a must game changer .

i love this controller, just got one today with kontrolfreek grips and thumbsticks, its amazing piece. Just note to everyone YOU DO NOT NEED DSX, do not waste money on that scammy crap, the gamepad works with native support including profile swapping with almost all games i played on steam, including CoD, apex, OW, etc.

I was sort of hoping though that the paddles at the back could be used as a sort of.. L4 and R4. Extra buttons. For games like Gran Turismo, i'd like to use all shoulder buttons, AND the paddles, for gear changing.. Hopefully, games will do updates to add this.

Now this is a legit DualSense Edge video! The last one I watched had a title saying "It works on PC!" and then went on to explain how none of the extra features worked on PC. So in essence it was just a normal PS5 controller. Call me crazy, that is not an Edge controller working in my eyes. Its only value above the normal controller are the damn features :P Splendid work man! I had no idea that there was a steam program you could buy to have this roller operate on full. I knew it worked because I saw someone using the paddles and stuff in Elden Ring (On PC), but I was confused as to how they managed to map it.
I feel sometimes some tech will cost more then usual especially if it's a new conspect design software hardware 😊 I just bought one today let's see how it works 😊

Yeah I rode that Astro C40 out until someone else matched theirs. I got my new ps5 controller today I no longer have to play the ps4 versions of games now.I am going to miss that C40 it was probably the most underrated controller

My questions are: do I need to have PS5 to perform the first boot of the controller and set all the profiles? and can i set up the back paddles without the dsx steam app? because i have battlenet launcher for warzone thanks
You have two ways to setup the bavk paddles. 1) setup via ps5 maybe some friends have one 2) you can use ds4 for set the back paddles. Personally i use ds4 for remove input lag and also for the paddles. You can't be banned from warzone with that. I'm using it from 6 months and never been banned or shadowbanned. Just play fair and have fun with your back paddles bro

Yes it works, not with steam games. But just be careful because some games may not allow for emulators like this as they’ll think you’re getting a competitive edge.
Is there a way to map the back paddles or I guess I should say…. I don’t want to assign buttons to the back paddles cuz I’m already using them all. I want to assign the back paddles to do their own thing. Having to “ x “ buttons doesn’t have any benefits for me.
The only problem I see with this edge controls is that ounce you play for a couple hours with one you don’t want go back to the normal dual sense which is very good but the edge is better.
If you are playing COD on a PC and have a PS5, you don't need the DSX. just configure your back buttons on the PS5 and plug and play on the PC. it just works.
do you know if you can switch profiles on dsx. i am on pc and use different profiles omfor different games. don’t want to have to go on playstation everytime to switch profiles.
Hey, some games have un adjustable and huge deadzone, can the ‘stick deadzone” on the edge be reduced smaller size than the default controller deadzone size to fix those games aiming? Or is smaller setting on the edge the same as the standard Sony controller? Please test and let us know

It is about time PlayStation that your offer gamers controller profiles, to remap your controller is critical while gaming. It allows you to take full control over your character. Dead Zones is a setting that measures the amount of stick drift in your sticks, cause with higher sensitivity comes a unstable reaction from the joy sticks, depending on the quality of controller you were to get when you purchase it. I mean shipment can hurt gamepads sometimes when re-sellers drop boxes or any freight mishaps will cause stick drift, but for the most part stick drift happens when a controller get dirty on the inside. But Glad to see it, it's about time.

What if you own call of duty of battle net ? Does dsx still need to be downloaded and does it still help for the controller to be used on battle nets version of cod ?
I have bought DSX and I play on PC. When I connect controller, DSX recognizes it but when I launch Warzone, the game recognizes the input as a controller but nothing works. I can’t play or navigate the game with controller. If I disconnect controller while in game, it detects controller has been removed. Frustrating!
Can I still overclock the controller with lord of mice while using this program? Main reason I bought a ps5 controller so I can overclock it to 8000 instead of 1000 pull rate making it more responsive then most if not all controllers atm

I got banned after downloading dsx and using it on mw3 playing through battlenet. Be careful if you use dsx

Not for the paddles. If you are on Pc though some games let you make those double binds in the settings. But the pro doesn’t let you do that
