I recently flew from LGW to HAN on 787-9 Sam Son Beach. May I suggest putting that onto internal flights and putting one with plug sockets onto the long haul? Other than that, smooth experience. Hopefully you'll go from MAN again 😉
I recently flew Bamboo for the first time from DAD to SGN. Nice, clean airplanes, and the staff were very friendly. I will fly with Bamboo again. Perhaps one day I will try the SGN to LGW route.
What a treat for this viewer to vicariously traveling over Vietnam! The name Bamboo Airlines is the first giveaway that I am FAR away! Can't say I like the interior that much, I don't like the color of the seats with the red seat belts but I am just being picky. What I did like was the hand written thank you note, they are really trying! Always a joy to "fly" with you. Thanks again - Jim S
Busiest domestic route is CJU Jeju to GPO Seoul Gimpo, over 1.3 million seats annually, that's nuts! And international if I had to guess is JFK to Heathrow maybe? Anyway I love the dreamliner and the business class seats, my wife and I are flying business to cairo in April 2023 thru delta via air France with tons of stops, southwest 737 from ABQ to PHX, then a Delta E175 from PHX to LAX, then Air France 777 from LAX to CDG, then Air France 787 from CDG to CAI. This will be my first international travel and both mine and my wifes first business class experience, so excited! Would be more excited with a gold subscription to FR-24 😆 great videos, you should be a guest on Av talk with Ian and Jason one of these episodes!
Thanks for yet another very watchable review, Gabriel. You never disappoint! At the moment, Jeju to Seoul-Gimpo seems to be the busiest domestic route.
Finally a new video and a nice giveaway :D The busiest domestic route is Jeju International (RKPC) to Seoul Gimpo (RKSS). The trip report was quite nice. I didn’t hear of Bamboo Airways before I saw their 787 in Frankfurt one time. They have a great livery 😄
Congrats Carson Tse that is the correct answer and you've won the Gold subscription giveaway! Email me, gabriel-at-fr24.com or get in touch via Instagram (@gabeleigh) to claim the prize.
Great video! Have been wondering what the cabin is like ever since I was pleasantly surprised by their nice lounge in Hanoi. Food looked pretty great for such a short flight.
I'm going through all these videos and enjoying them. I'm a very nervous flyer. For 16 years now the furthest I'll fly is Spain (just over 2hrs). I flew in the summer to Spain on TUI 787-8 I really like the dreamliner. Hoping to get over my fear and fly to new york with my best friend. Hopefully watching videos like this can help me actually enjoy flying 🤞
Nice review Gabriel. I look forward to your review on a long-haul flights with Bamboo Airways. The world's busiest domestic route is Seoul/Gimpo - Jeju (GMP - CJU). The departure is so frequent that the departure hall in Jeju feels more like a bus terminal than an airport terminal!
World's busiest domestic passenger air route by aircraft movement as well as by passenger volume should be South Korea's Jeju (CJU) to Seoul (GMP). Big fan of this channel btw, loved every video I've watched so far. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Daniel for an interesting overview of a domestic Bamboo Airways flight. I believe Jeju International-Seoul Gimpo (CJU-GMP) is the busiest domestic flight route at present. I’m looking forward to your Vietnam Airlines return flight to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN).
Great to see this Vietnam with its success, beauty and commerce. Hard to believe in this lifetime we were bombing the crap out of Hanoi, etc and now look. As always, FR and Gabriel come through. Shall we see any on-ground video of Hanoi etc, outside of airports? Thanks for the great production.
Thank you for the impressive video from one of just three 787 in Bamboo Airways's Fleet! I'm really happy that you pointed out the noise level in the cabin. Until I saw your video I've read only best opinions about their quiteness. I couldn't understand it, meybe people hadn't opportunity to compare with Airbus counterparts...? I had the same impression, even never flown with A330 before. Is it comparable with A330ceo or A330neo? I also expected lower noise level especially in the cruise on 787. My seat was on Saudia's 787-9 just behind the wings/engines at the window. The engine sound is really very quiet, but the increasing other surrounding overall noises prevented me to hear the PA's clearly or sleep without earplugs during the cruise. I saw the YT documentation about 787. It was a big concern for Boeing to decrease the noise footprint, but I think they meant the outside noise level, not that much the cabin interior noise. That also explains why the sounds of the engines is very low even behind them in the economy cabin. The Boeing engineers saved the weight of the aircraft by using lighter+stronger fuselage materials but it also means that the insulation in the fuselage got thinner. Unfortunately, without much of benefits for the passengers. Especially for noise sensitive people like me. 777 is of course much more noisier during the TO, but in cruise is very comparable with 787 (Flying from Manila with 77W to Jeddah, then with 789 from Jeddah to Paris). The A350 remains for me just unbeatable in terms of passenger comfort, including cabin noise level in cruise, even on window seats behind the engines. A321neo makes here huge improvement for passengers' comfort comparing other "ceo" narrowbodies in my opinion too.
You commented about the airport in Saigon. It's a great improvement over the early 70's when I was flying in and out of there in US Army helicopters! Haha....just sayin!
Thank you for the trip report. The cabin has cheap seats in Economy (wont feel happy to spend there 6+ hours), basic version of business class seats. It is interesting you measured sound level - my personal experience flying new generation of aircraft is that A350 is offering a completely better level of comfort including very qiote cabin (and certainly A380), which is not there with B787.
That would be Jeju - Seoul-Gimpo. I have flown that many moons ago. I believe it used to be Beijing - Shanghai but due to the Covid travel restrictions this appears no longer to be number 1.
We appreciate you flying with us! We are eager to assist you on the upcoming flights!
@Jibon Rajbongshi you really think this would happen??

Bamboos domestic lounge in Hanoi is amazing :) Flown a few times with them!

Excellent laid-back flight review as usual Gabriel! The busiest domestic route in the world is CJU-GMP.
Another great trip report. The Seoul to Jeju seems to be the busiest according to other trip reporters.

Busiest domestic route is Jeju (CJU) - Seoul (GMP)
In 2022 is Jeju International-Seoul Gimpo
Jeju to Seoul. Very quiet engine sound!
HKG-TPE would be my guess.
The one and only... Seoul - Jeju
Shanghai - Beijing (outside of Covid) sees a ton of widebodies every day and departures nearly every half hour.
You commented about the airport in Saigon. It's a great improvement over the early 70's when I was flying in and out of there in US Army helicopters! Haha....just sayin!
You should try the new airline from Norway called Flyr
The busiest domestic route is Jeju International (RKPC) to Seoul Gimpo (RKSS).
GMP-CJU route
Butter
Thanks for another great video review.
Pre Covid-19 it was SYD MEL that took a flag for being the busiest
Seoul - Jeju
Seoul to Jeju Island should still be the busiest domestic connection in the world.
Jeju (CJU) - Seoul (GMP)
The busiest domestic route is Seoul Gimpo - Jeju. Curious what seat number did you get for this flight? The engine view is insane.
More on the lounge would have been helpful on such a short flight.

That would be Jeju - Seoul-Gimpo. I have flown that many moons ago. I believe it used to be Beijing - Shanghai but due to the Covid travel restrictions this appears no longer to be number 1.
I think Seoul-Jeju was already number 1 before the pandemic started
Sydney Melbourne is # 1
busiest route I think is Melbourne to Sydney in Oz.
I thought LAX-LAS but Jeju-Soeul seems to beat that.
CJU-GMP
