Just played through the refugees senario for the first time lasnight and this mans turns 5hrs of gameplay into 24mins, you made the early game look like a starcraft pro

He was sending scouts to meet the lords.
You are beast, This is hardest scenario for me, i wasn"t able to finish it in survivor even on normal speed 30 tries. and u just pop this in 24 minutes. Sick
I newer had problems with refugees, just keep heath and houses up, for me it would be winterhome, that shit, with collecting thousands off steel is the biggest problem plus a huge lack of engineers if you want to sent the message to New London Edit: newer forgot how a group of engineers told me that they will stay in the city to the last, but when panic occurred all of them went to dreadnought leaving 44 without a single fucking healthcare post so I had to put my last automaton there. Then even more people panicked and ran away leaving total of 5 people in the city
After just barely scraping by on hard (while also sending the lords away) and getting at least a dozen discontent ultimatums along the way, I had to come and watch someone wipe up the floor with this map. When you think New Home and The Arks are easy on hard, and then you try Refugees, it's a rather big jump in difficulty.
OMG! WOW! I managed to beat this on hard on 2nd try accepting all lords. But the survivor mode - I ran out of all resources, mostly coal, after the second lords group arrived and generator shut down. Also, I had 60+ amputees just sitting around doing nothing. But I just couldn't find time to build a factory.
This is insane! GG. Just used this as a guide for hard mode, might be unnecessary but it helped. Thank you! Definitely worth a thumbs up and subscribe.
Holy moly.. here im like i beat the refugee on norm like 1.5 years ago. been doing the new home on extreme a few days ago and was like aight lets give refugees a try on hard to refresh my memory for this map. after several attempts failing early i went to see how others did it and this video pops up 24.30 min survivor mode and im like your kidding me. watched it and was like gosh daym i aint gonna try that xD but appreciate all that i learned from the vid! kudos
@@JWiise Thanks to getting all those ideas from your video i just managed to beat it on hard without too big a sweat. had one death that scripted old man who dies in the healing house with his letter even managed to enslave all dem bad lords ehehehe but it seems that the refugees is the best map to complete worse than london archivement by just dismissing all the lords as you did

Followed your video as a guide for tech, laws and general plan for the run and my run deviated a lot from yours regardless. It's remarkable how you do hundreds of attempts for a world record. Nevertheless, got it thanks to you, even though I had to dismantle like 12 Bunkhouses in the last 24 hours to get the last pieces of steel lol
Unfortunately you can't guarantee it will be in the 3rd location. This run took a very long time to get because it's was only viable if I found it in the right location. I had to keep restarting until I found the correct scouting locations for the run. GL!!
@@JWiise Yes I have watched quite a lot of videos on extreme refugees and they all need to find the canning workshop, there is simply no way to produce sufficient foods without major opportunity costs.
@@dedrickhermine6974 Canning house is not a must to win refugee extreme. However, if you want to win it with no death, canning house will become a must.
Agreed! This run was really frustrating because it was 100% dependent on getting the Canning Workshop scouting location. I had to restart hundreds of times to get what I needed to setup the run. If you don't find the Canning Workshop, the entire strategy has to be different because food will be so low. GL!
Hi Brandon, some of this is going to come down to RNG and who gets sick. Make sure you rotate you workers around to try and keep the healthy ones working in the most critical work places. Also, don't play on 2x or 3x speed. Each work hour is super important when you play on Survivor mode. Keep at it and I am sure you will get it!!
@@JWiise thank you so much for the reply. I am just going for the achievement. I have arks and new home, trying to get refugees, FoW, and Last Autumn/OnTheEdge. I will refrain from using 2x. I'm just following your exact strategy, day by day. I think my main issue was not rotating when I'm supposed to. I am on console.
@@JWiise I finally did it on my 8th try. Thanks so much. It was literally by the skin of my teeth. About 10 of my engineers died on day 7. Didn't dismantle coal mine by accident either. Just juggled discontent. Skimmed by barely with 23hrs left. Once I had early game cleared I did my own thing. Was a few days behind you in research but made it up. Advanced steelworks n steam thumper, after that it was emergency shift cheese with lowering discontent with overdrive lol. Literally skimmed by. Now on to FoH.

This one is brutal, did on the edge and the arks in a couple tries, but here so many people end up dying that i fail beacause of it

Friend, how can you ensure that you always find the canning workshop in the first 3 locations?
I always find the old warehouse with little foods.
