As the Creator of the profile you're using, you missed half the benefit by using the Cura defaults. Check out MPMD Default under the profiles. Also, it's a bit outdated, but bit.ly/mpmd101 has more detail.
Also, your bed clips are backwards when the video starts, fat side goes on the bed.
lol I didn't even notice thanks appreciate it.
Thanks I will definitely check it out really appreciate all the work you have put into this printer.
Hey Brian, I tried your mini profile but first layer won't adhere, have any ideas?
@@heatadvisory same here
Thank you a lot for doing this video. I bought this printer via an open box for various reasons. This isn't my first printer but first time using it. So seeing this video has helped me a lot of trial and error. Thank you again!
No worries So happy I could help
saved the day on a new computer. Great walkthrough. Really appreciate it . Got this up and running. back to the settings again. its been months. thanks for the Help. again.
I use cura 15.4.2 and it works fine especially when adding the G29 code in the start g code
Dude thank you so much. I have the same printer. I'm so glad Cura updated. I was having some slicing issues with a couple old prints before but now all seems good. Oh yeah, I build websites and apps and it would be really cool if you had one 👍🏾
Cool video btw
@@firstlast9813 thanks so much !!!
If I ever decide to make a website I will definitely reach out to you. Do you have a website or email?
@@TheCasualCreator1 Yep! VimDasher@gmail.com
Thank you! You are a hero! I am a Mac user, but the process was similar.
Excellent presentation and content. Subscribed.
Hey man, thanks for this video, that was exactly what I need.
Happy to help bud
Helped me so much. Great video
How do you get prints online to print on it?
Unfortunately, my Printer doesn't see the files in the sd card
Thanks for the video. I just got my printer. I was hoping you touched on g-coding. I want to print t my own designs.
I have followed your steps to the tea and I had Cura to work so I can slice and save but when I put that file into my printer it will not print it just stays warming up. I have printed the default cat on the micro SD card that comes with it and it’s a brand new printer. What am I doing wrong?
?
how do you print with usb. i tried but it marks half the plate and stops
ru able to make ur own things instead of the preloaded things?
Thank you soooo much
I don’t understand this I did everything you did in the video and then when I go to my printer it’s all the same. It only prints the cat that came on the printer. Did I do something wrong
Tried to do a factory restart on my mini delta and now it’s completely jacked. Any advice?
How come my delta doesn’t go the whole way down it will stay about an inch above the build plate
Hey- How did you install the glass bed? Is that painters tape. I just got my Delta yesterday. I'm a noob.
dude i am soooooooooo lost
Okay I did everything you said in this video, and when I go press print on the printer, the nozzle on the screen just ranges between 19-24 and the bed ranges between 19-23. It doesn't auto calibrate. It doesn't do anything and I even waited for 10 minutes. I haven't printed anything and I'm already frustrated.
Have you already attempted to do a test print with the factory file ? If so was it successful. If it was successful try setting it up manually using an older version of cura . Here's a video that will walk you through it .let me know if it helps .ruclips.net/video/flrbekM9OA0/видео.html
@@TheCasualCreator1 when I tried doing the auto.00g (i believe that was the name) print it started to print, but the material got globbed up on the extruder. The next time I tried it, the material just started oozing out before it even got into position (would that happen if the extruder temp is too high?). So then I just sliced a design I made and want to print, and it did that rattling thing off the plate like it did in your unboxing video. So then I followed this video here. I don't have a mac, I just have windows. I'll try following that video you linked and see if it helps or not.
@@decadude8968 there is a nozzle clearing protocol written into the print code .So it's normal for the filament to extrude out before the print starts. The manual setup works for PC and Mac . It's a good way to bypass some of the problems that comes with the other steps just limits some of the print options .
@@TheCasualCreator1 okay so I followed the instructions on that video. It prints the auto00.g one fine. But then when I go to print the benchie or the other file I sliced, it does nothing like it did before. No automatic calibration or anything, it just stays in the same place.
@@decadude8968 this is a long shot but sometime the SD card gets corrupted during the write process or its just a bad card that still allows the writing of smaller files without corruption because the damaged part of the card is further down in the blocks . So format your SD card make sure it's set to default and fat32. From there once you slice your file save it to the desktop first then drag and drop it to your newly formatted SD card now load the SD card into the printer and attempt to print it . If that doesn't work try using a different micro SD card 8GB or smaller . If your still having issues try to print using the USB option by connecting your printer directly to you computer and printing without a SD card. I have a video on this channel that shows you how . Please keep reaching out bud if you have any more questions. I'm more than happy to keep helping to get you going 😊.Sorry for any delayed responses RUclips is very slow to show comments .
what about the mac os? Is is similar or a huge difference from windows?
There a difference. With Mac its best to copy and past all the setting manually . I have a an older video covering it . I hope it helps here's the link ruclips.net/video/flrbekM9OA0/видео.html. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Mine when I tri to print one I have to pay this printer is hard to use I try to follow all the instructions don’t know men
