I just wanted to say, YOU are the reason I'm using this product. I watched your indie brands review and had to try it out. I'm really loving it (and the Level serum, too.) Thank you for your awesome work!
I've just started using this serum (on alternating mornings with Level serum) about 2-3 weeks ago and I'm really really enjoying it so far! This does not irritate my skin whatsoever despite my notoriously sensitive-to-acid skin (cannot tolerate AHA's). This brand has really stolen my heart recently, working the two serums alongside my soothing K-beauty products and my Tret have been wonderful to my skin :D Thank you for the wonderful and informative reviews!
So nice to hear you are enjoying this brand- I hope they continue to grow and more people find them- the Level serum has to be one of the best for brightening skin up and works so well on all kinds of pigmentation issues.
They have been an underrated brand for a while so I'm happy to see them get the well deserved recognition! I've been using the level Serum on and off for about 5 months (I think) and really helps with brightness, even better with the X Serum.
I've been loving this serum! Even though it's pricey I think it's well worth it because of how they cocktailed so many lovely antioxidants. G&G has a special place in my heart as a more simple, straight shooter vitamin C serum. I should look into the Timeless 10%, the 20% was just too much for my skin.
This serum is more expensive than what I’ve bought before but if I bought individual serums that only had one antioxidant it would be a lot more expensive and irritating to apply all those serums instead of using vitamin x.
I totally know what you mean. If my skin is feeling on the sensitive side I'll use the G&G that day, but the X Serum is wonderful for all the great ingredients they added.
@@mikuforlife1929 at least from buying the individual serums you may know what each main ingredient does for your skin, making an expensive, supercharged serum worth it!
Your videos are so informative! I love the no BS! I’ve been struggling so much with hormonal breakouts since having my second baby. And noticing wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Oh! And I’m also a flipping desert to boot. Would any of this brands products work wonders on these issues? I’m assuming you shouldn’t try it all out at the same time? Very new to their products so not sure the best way to create a routine with them. Thank you for any guidance !!
Oh thank you so much for your kind comments! I do think you could benefit from this brand. For your pigmentation their Level Serum and Vitamin X Serum are both great at brightening up skin. Faded Topicals is also a good option worth considering. For dry skin the Regimen Cream is amazing- really hydrating for very dry skin, I haven't reviewed it yet but definitely will. It is thick, but great for very dry areas, and works so nicely on my neck which gets ridiculously dry. For breakouts a BHA Serum is worth checking into- adding one in a few times a week can help tremendously. A few ones I love- the Paula's Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant Gel, the Peach Slices Acne Clarifying Toner is great (and non-drying), and the Tula Acne Clearing and Tone Correcting Gel is also a good one. Definitely add them in at different times, just in case you have an isssue with one, then you'll know which product it was.
First of all, your eye make up looks lovely. Then I also ordered this serum along with the level serum planning to use the vit x in the am and level in the pm. I tend to keep my morning routine low ph with acids, vitamin c and anti oxidants while evening routine is more neutral/high ph and is all about hydration, peptides, retinoids and EGF.
Thank you so much, you're always too kind, love seeing your name pop up! You always have some good recommendations- looking forward to reviewing more of them soon! You'll have to let me know how you like this and the level serum. I was so lucky to stumble on this brand a few months ago, it has been really helping to brighten up my skin, which is always a good thing!
@@NOBSBeauty Thank you! Yes I have some discoloration under the eyes so I'm struggling to find a product that's potent enough to even out my skin complexion so these two products seem to be a very powerful cocktail to treat all sorts of skin issues.

What do you recommend for beginners/sensitive skin for Vitamin C serums/products? I ordered this and still waiting for it. Glad I saw your video to know I may not be ready for it. I have never used a Vitamin C skincare product.
I typically don't recommend mixing vitamin c with anything, but it might be a way to acclimate your skin to it if you mixed it with a simple hyaluronic Serum for a few weeks then try it on its own to see how your skin handles it. I'm currently working on a beginner video for vitamin c, hope to have it up by next week. A few good ones for beginners: the new Timeless 10% Serum, the Isntree C Niacin Toning Ampoule, and the Purito Pure Vitamin C Serum. The Purito is 5% but plan on using it up as fast as you can because it can oxidize quickly.
I think if your skin is on the oily side the Timeless might be a bit better- the Vitamin X is a bit sticky. although if you have significant pigmentation issues the Vitamin X would probably what I'd go with due to the additional brightening ingredients it contains.

is this ok to use with tretinoin? saw a vlogger who use vitamin x with tret..
You could use it in the day since antioxidants help with protection against UV/pollution when used in combination with sunscreen. The brand says you can also use it at night, you might want to apply it first, let it dry/absorb and then your retinoid. Just pay attention to any irritation.
@@db-gb5xi thank you ☺️
You must try the Dermalure 20% Vitamin C. It’s Vitamin C, Ferulic acid, and Glutathione. It’s very low pH but somehow not sensitizing at all! I’ve every vitamin C you can think of! Dermalure has by far the best formulation.
Ooh I'm always loving trying new vitamin c goodies- going to add this one to my list along with another brand I just heard of called skinlux!
Horrible irritation from vitamin X
Oh no, so sorry to hear, what a bummer. I'm wondering if maybe going to a vitamin c serum with a lower percentage of actives might work better for you? Perhaps the one from Geek and Gorgeous or the 10% from Timeless?
Their product are not fungal safe and the customer service is really bad, still waiting for my return labels, i have waisted 180$ in this company. It cost me a dermatologist appointment and the worst thing : THEY DON'T PUBLISH BAD REVIEWS (even when you are polite).. and their level serum created me new wrinkles ! Never ever I will buy from them this kind of commercial tricks are unacceptable
❤️❤️❤️
