    I have been using the Regimen Lab serum for about a year now alongside the Vit X in the morning, and I gotta say I love it so much. When I have a pimple here and there the dark spot fades quickly. Worth noting that now that Regimen is past the early access stage of their release, they have changed their packaging and reformulated the Wave serum, and I think the packaging is definitely an improvement. The original packaging did not travel as well. You can also get the early access price if you subscribe to their products, so it saves a little bit of $.

    I love Faded. It did a lot for my skin for the 6 months I've been using it especially since it helped to fade a tough scar near my mouth. I feel like it's taken me as far as it can go though and so I'm moving on to something else once I finish up my current tube. I don't think people realize sometimes you hit the ceiling with a good product instead of it being the case of it not working anymore. Anyway I've heard the new Faded doesn't include the sulfur smell. I've gotten over the smell but I do wish I had the unscented one.

    I’ve seen it mentioned that Ole Henrikson’s Glow 2Oh Spot Toner works really well and fast on melasma. Have you ever reviewed this and if so, what do you think? I love Toners and Essences and have so many I want to try, but my main concern is helping with melasma. I’ve seen videos where you’ve reviewed various ones for this and have them on my list, but I wanted to ask about this specifically…because I have the Lemonade Scrub by them and absolutely love it!! Thanks for another great video…especially regarding this topic!!

    • @NOBSBeauty

      I didn't love the glow toner, but I also didn't hate it, kind of thought it was probably better for newer/ less stubborn hyperpigmentation. My melasma/ hyperpigmentation is very stubborn and it didn't do much. But for some people with less stubborn dark spots and skin that isn't super sensitive it could be worth a try. My favorite from OH is their cold pore plunge mask- really love it so much!

    I bought the Faded when it first came out and I didn’t really enjoy using it because of the sulfur smell (it did not go away, smell lingered hours on my face) and I find the texture greasy and slides around that never seems to absorb so makes it difficult to layer moisturzer over it (and sulfur smell gets spread around even more). I end up putting it away and started to use the Niod’s pigment (that was ok, did fade some spots, but not amazing, but I find the texture is easier to layer since it gets better absorbed). Now I finished the niod’s, I went back to Faded for the last few weeks. Same issues but I have notice that it seems to be more effective than Niod’s pigment as far as fading dark spots. I don’t think I will repurchase the faded when I am done with it, tho one tube seems can last forever tho. I will definitely try the Regimen lab next. Great comparison!

    I am fan of FADED it helped to transform my skin since I started using it in January. I like the eco-friendly recyclable packaging. Funny I don't react to the acnegenic ingredients because I have oily acne prone skin and FADED never broke me out. And the creamy consistency is useful as a light moisturiser. I had old acne hyperpigmentation, and my sister has melasma which FADED has helped to greatly lighten. The great thing about FADED is a little goes a long way it lasts a long time if you aren't heavy handed.

      I’ve been using it for about a month now religiously and I am seeing some difference, but I was hoping to see more. I might make an appointment with a dermatologist, because I know nothing works as good as what they’ll prescribe. I don’t have bad sun damage especially considering how I never wore sunblock, but oil…and went to the beach a lot, tanned at tanning salons, etc. But one area especially drives me insane because it’s right under my eyebrow

    • @mimistar1427
      @mimistar1427 2 года назад

Tried faded before, but the smell!

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  2 года назад +1

      I use these at night - so I'll apply my serum, retinol, moisturizer, then I'll apply the Regimen Lab (or Topicals) and then my cosrx snail cream afterwards. I haven't had any issues with sensitivity or irritation using them together so as long as your skin is used to retinol you probably won't have any issues. Might be worth slowly adding this into your evening routine using it every other night and slowly working it into nightly. I do prefer the Regimen Lab, it is such a wonderful formula and really helps with dark spots and melasma!

  • @Jen-if2it
    @Jen-if2it 2 года назад +2

    The faded might have more active ingredients on the label but if the formula just slides around on the skin only to pill off, I don't think very much is going to be absorbed.
