With all that’s going on in the world I can’t help but feel that this scene is Boseman’s message to humanity to be better. In the movie he’s telling his ancestors to be better, but as an audience watching him, it just made me want to be better. Noble and strong of heart. That’s what this man was.
After Chadwick’s real passing, this scene has almost feels it has a double meaning. You could interpret it as him pleading with God himself about taking him from this Earth far too early and needing to go back and finish his career and life, truly sad but also beautiful and poetic.
Ironic as it is Chadwick was also a Christian and prayed for this role ever since BP was going to get announced for the MCU. Rest in peace to a king, and he certainly earned that role!
The power in Black Panther was the themes it addressed not just the script, action or how it fitted into the Infinity Saga. RIP, Chadwick Boseman. ⚫️🐆👑
Wakanda abandoned the world. They had tech to help hospitals in all countries. Vibranium to build strong buildings in storm ravaged areas etc. but T'Chaka didn't want to risk Wakandan lives to help other countries gain the strength Wakanda had. Sad, really.
Even though it's a fictional country, Wakanda's governmental structure/policy resembles real African nations. What people don't understand about African countries. Is they are all different and quite diverse. Speak different languages, and have different cultures. It would be the equivalent of saying a Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc people are the same, or share this unifying "we are all Asian therefore we're the same people" mentally. Even though a land mass is shared, the people are completely different, and don't really concern themselves with the affairs of another Nation.
@@edd2184 I'm well aware of Africa's diversity. Blk ppl are the most genetically diverse race in the world. Even so, all Africans and the diaspora ARE BLACK. We are all part of the same race...unless you're suggesting that each genetic diversification is a separate race. Bc that is seriously silly. I won't speak about the continent of Asia bc I don't really know their genetic makeup so I can't speak on the comparison. Also, no, Africans don't concern themselves with other nations, but they SHOULD bc at the end of the day, we are ALL BLACK, and the separate nations are literally man-made borders created during colonization. To say that we're completely different ppl just bc we live in separate areas on the continent is seriously stupid. Hell, Norway and Germany are two separate nations, but both are still of the whte race correct? I know exactly what you mean in your comment, but your comment is stupid. Don't respond bc I honestly don't want to talk to someone who thinks like you. Having such a mentality is why there's so much separation and very little unity in the world among those who should be unified.
What i love about this scene is that even IN DEATH his father and ancestors hold on to their ignorance. Usually in real life when we think of those who've passed as enlighten spiritual entities but they still even in death were flawed. I love that.
I think inherently they knew they were selfish. Outwardly, they were technologically advanced, peaceful n neutral. But the only reason why was they didn't want to let the outside world know of vibranium or share it. This selfish nature was a double blow to tchalla as he worshipped his father as a good man. Not a good king but a man. N to be confronted that everything done was due to an act of selfishness would have crushed him.
I think this scene is very important. I think that when I comes to parent-children relationships in black families as the next enervation learns of the past and want to progress forward. Their views slowly change from their parents causing conflict often black children cannot confront their parents about the faults their parents. This is a powerful scene that shows that children can confront their parent respectfully about the actions that the parents have take which have caused their child to experience hardship or pain.
Black Panther is everyone of us, who is tired of people being selfish & interested in discoveries & wealth, than helping other's in need Just watch My Hero Academia & see Shigaraki's childhood to his current adulthood - the guy became a monster because All For One corrupted his soul & the Devil in Christianity is a monster, cus for some reason God & his angel's couldn't find a solution to have Lucifer (devil) actually realize his wrongs, to in Naruto anime terms "do a *Talk no jutsu*" Many nations there has been just more hatred & more violence, for me & anyone else who disagrees with that ideology with all your willpower though... You are my true family ✨ & You all Black Panthers & every Super hero combined
First scene in the Ancestral realm--reverence for Wakanda Second scene (Killmonger's scene)--presentation of the problem with Wakanda Third scene--absolute denial of Wakanda
You were wrong! All of you were wrong! To turn your backs on the rest of the world! We let the fear of discovery stop us from doing what is right. No more! I cannot stay here with you. I cannot rest while he sits on the throne. He is a monster of our own making. I must take the mantle back. I must! I must right these wrongs.
You are home T’Challa Rest In Peace Wakanda Forever!!!!!! Won’t ever forget. You can rest now, you have saved us and protected us helped us in our time of need thank you! ❤️😭Our King 🤴🏾 Rests Now....
For me this scenes hits harder than ever because Chadwick is gone But just now this scene it finally brought me to tears that I feel this was when Tchalla truly became king of Wakanda. Because he was willing to stand up to his father and all the other past kings To finally stand without his father and find his answer in the best way to protect Wakanda
R.I.P This scene hits different now
