For SERIOUS creators, THIS is the desk lamp you need! It's about 28 inches wide and clamps on the back of your desk. It's on a gooseneck so it can be bent to different angles. The lamp head has 3 sections, a center section and 2 outer sections. The two outer sections can be turned and rotated, and can be switched on and off independentaly of the center portion. The lamp is 24 watts and puts out 1500 lumens, is dimmable, and has selectable color temperature modes (3,000K- 6,500K). It also has a memory function to remember the last setting.
There also is the auto-adjust setting, which can vary the amount of light it puts out based on the amount of ambient light in the room. This lamp really lights up your work surface well, and can take the place of just about any desk lamp. Gets really nice and bright and lights up your entire work surface evenly. Also, sends light out at a 45 degree angle, just off the computer screen, and just out of your eyes.

It is. Similar to another lamp I have that I absolutely swear by, and others have also purchased it because of my review.

How much for your incandescent bulbs? I pass on the halogen ones.

@@jaykay18 Eventually they will be. Look at your many led lights, I bet you run out of fingers to count them on. I can fit the amount of leds I have in use on one hand.

@@240Volts LED is fine for areas where I'm not going to spend much time, such as outside, or a stairwell. Some of these lamps like this actually work quite well for task lighting. Usually a short period of time. General lighting and everything else, incandescent or CFL. I need decent, not absolutely perfect.

@@jaykay18 Not even for task lighting would I use led for. Led is the DEI of lighting, DEI=didn't earn it. Leds were given the market.

@@240Volts That I definitely agree with. They were. Probably because they could be produced dirt cheap, and sold for a lot to make big profits.
