      It is a very practical size and works for other things too not just for glasses. My Daughter starts nursing school in September, I did one for her and she is using it to keep her scissors and hemostats in. Thanks for watching 😊

    This is terrific! And gorgeous! Thanks for including how you attached the metallic thread to the machine. I didn't understand your words about how to thread it over the bobbin winding - but this showed it perfectly! Thank you!

    Wonderful tutorial! Do you have a special technique to remove the water soluble stabilizer? I find the batting of a project becomes stiff after rinsing with water and drying. Thank you.

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  3 года назад +2

      Thanks Diana pleased you liked it. I wash it out in a washing machine on a warm wash, sometimes it is out in one wash sometimes twice. Then I tumble dry them and press with a pressing cloth and they come up nice and soft once all the stabilizer has been washed out completely.

    What a great design. Thank you for the video, it certainly makes it so much easier to follow the pattern once you see it being made.
    I'm just wondering if I made the bag longer to hold a hair straightener or stencil burner & swap the batting for foam, would I come to grief?

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  2 года назад

      I'm pleased that you enjoyed it. Not sure how you could do that with this one but the bottom is easily extended on this bag and I made a video for it if you scroll down the bottom of the product page. www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/product/crazy-patch-shoulder-bag.html

    Did you say Kay that your tension is zero normally???

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  Год назад +1

      Hi Helene, yes mine is normally at zero but machines are all different, so yours might be different to mine. You may have to change it depending on the fabric and or thread that you use, just as you would on a sewing machine. People get very hung up over adjusting the top thread tension of their machines but they really shouldn't as it is supposed to be adjusted to help you achieve good stitching results across a wide variety of fabrics and threads. Happy stitching 😊

      @@KaysCutz im one of those people🤣but mot in a bad way.....hahaa

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  Год назад +1

      @@HJcillie never be afraid to change the tension if you are having problems with the stitching or thread breakages etc because if that is what is causing the issue then you will never resolve it if you don't change it. Happy stitching 😊
