The picture on the paperwork, of the winch shows the cranking handle attached to the bottom bolt of the pulley. In the video, the handle is attached to the top bolt of the cranking head. Which is correct? Also, the pictures for reference on the placement of the ramp hold-down bracket are slim to none...i'ts more visible in the video here. Thanks, Bruce

The winch is a two speed winch, so you can use both options. The bottom position is for slow which is what you want to use on bigger logs, whereas the top position is fast, for smaller logs.
In regards to the photos of the ramp hold-down bracket, you can send us an email at tech@woodlandmills.com and we can send you over some more information/photos!

I have a 2016 126 I have a small logging and milling buisiness. I have had no problems and consider this the toughest best made piece of equptment I have. Ps it was also the most inexpensive considering what it does I wish at the time they ed have had the option of the 14 horse but the 9.5 is a tough little workhorse you cannot do better in ,my opinion. than woodland mills. At this time we do not have the lap siding attachment available for the HM136MAX models.

I have suggestions for this... I do own it... 1st, if the Bunks were fitted to load from both sides of the deck..So we can load it on both sides. I do love it, I do want a bit better winch in time I feel. Its been well worth it!

How many pound winch are you using? And how long of cable?

Hi Darren, winch with synthetic rope is 30 ft or (9.1m) The winch/log loading ramp kit will easily roll logs weighing up to 2,500 lbs

Josh, have you tried rolling a log with the winch (on the bunks) after making a flat side on the log?

It is possible to do that Ray. Some sawyers attach a hook to the end of the winch cable that bites into the wood as you crank the winch handle. The winch cable is simply looped around the log and the hook digs into the wood thus causing the log to roll over as you crank the winch cable in.
