My wife and I are so proud of you getting the trailer especially since you mentioned it to them, and or suggested it to them. I hope they did you a solid, with your subscriber base going so high, it would pay for them to help you out on it.
Thanks again my friend and I hope you have a blessed week.
Keep up the great work my friend.

I just got my hm126 portable sawmill,, just about got it put together adjusting the tracking now. I am thrilled to see that there is a trailer for this Sawmill now, and I am so jealous that you got to use the very first one the Prototype! super impressed with the design made for shipping right to your front door or in my case I needed the saw to make my front door LOL. great video thank you for making! PS didn't know that Josh was one of the owners and engineers, he was a crucial part of my decision to purchase a Woodland Mills sawmill great tutorials!

That's a well designed and built trailer for the bandsaw mill cutting head. I suspect a set of notched log loading ramps will be an accessory. The ramps used in conjuction with two cant hooks will easily allow one to roll a good sized log up the ramp and onto the mill by themselves.

Good videos. Like others, I'm waiting for the build to recommence. I have a couple questions about the mill/trailer.
1-How long did it take to assemble the trailer?
2-How long did it take to assemble the mill head?
3-what is the weight of the trailer with cutting head?
4-On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being equal to making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and 10 being equal to assembling and tuning a modern vehicle engine, how difficult was the mill/trailer assembly?
5-How well written are the instructions from Woodland Mills? Are they completely clear and concise? Are all photos completely obvious?
6-does woodland mills keep assembly simple by using same size bolts throughout, or are there twenty five different sizes that I have to contend with?
    Good video, thanks.

That motor assembly seemed to glide so much smoother when you showed the last clip than it ever seemed to when it was on the ground. The price of the saw is not much either, so you will make that back very soon after your cabin is complete.

Very impressed with this sawmill. You did a great job demonstrating its capabilities. Question: is there a reason why you cut the wood so thick? Looks like 2-2.5”? Or is that what you need to do from shrinkage and/ or less twisting?

    I also have a older 126 mill

My question is should I do the mods on the newer trailers or build a trailer to fit with the drawing from woodland mills for the older mills
Is there a lot of modifications to make it fit the new prebuilt trailers ?

  • @tinahaynes696
    @tinahaynes696 4 года назад

You might make more money selling maple slabs, but it takes time ( easily 2 years and more air drying in a barn )
    to dry a slab properly.
Slabs can split, or turn into canoes if improperly dried.
You likely see that in the soft wood your milling.
    I liked you video.
