    I think Rhaena was hurt when Rhaenyra told her she was leaving because she was thinking of the conversation with her mother in season 1 where she asked Laena if she was going to be allowed to stay even though she didn't have a dragon. The actor's performance with their facial expressions was spot on with the disappointment that anyone would feel in that moment.

      For your information, Rhaena's actor, Phoebe Cambell, is non-binary. They really did do a very good job conveying complicated emotions in their two scenes regarding Rhaena's departure. The throughline that you pointed out from when she was young is very on point, and I think it's going to play a big role in her journey going forward.

    I like how they’re showing the dissent between Alicent and Cole. Now he’s hand the dynamic between them as shifted to one where he now thinks he’s in charge. Alicent knows that that this won’t work between them because he’s now just another man trying to take charge of her. When he asked for the favour you can’t tell he wasn’t really asking. And with all the people around, Alicent wasn’t really going to object. But when she gives it to him and tries to caress her hand with him thumb she instantly pulls away from him.

    Ewan Mitchell is carrying team green for me. I LOVE that he walked out fully nude not because it's sexually appealing, but because he just armored himself. The way Tyrion told Jon to wear what he is like armor, Aemond just put on his armor. It was such a great scene

    WHAT I LIKED👍 :
    _Gwayne Hightower and Criston Cole(love their Dynamic)
    _Harrenhall looks like those castles in horror video games!
    _Baela and Moondancer scene
    WHAT I DISLIKED👎:
    _The taking of Harrenhall was too easy (even in the Book)
    _They ruined Dreamfyre's eggs theory (Well now that Martin said that their are book canon and show canon, it doesn't matter anymore)
    _ The Septa Rhaenyra part made little sense and Alicent letting her go, OMG!
    _Rhaenys keep playing her mother Teresa while she have smashed hundred of innocents with no remorse.
    CHARACTER I DISLIKED🤬:
    _ None in this episode
    6/10 the worst ep out of the three.

    Love the video 💚💚 The scene with Aemond and Aegon was even more egregious to me because we've been shown that this was Aemond's only "safe space" and Aegon invaded that and ruined that. Aemond no longer has a place that he can be vulnerable.

    Although as audience we may find it redundant & annoying at times that Rhaenyra tries different avenues to end the war, last episode really made me understand how important this prophecy is to her, & most importantly to the memory of her father. Although we're going to see the tragedy, in the end, Rhaenerya will be fulfilling the prophecy & honoring her father's memory through her line - Daenerys. Thank you for all your amazing content! 🐲🔥

    I love your point about the Harrenhal dream being the turning point for Daemon. He’s really taking it seriously now that he’s had a Targ dream of his own, when he used to Pooh Pooh Viserys for being a “slave to his dreams and portents”.

    I think it was brilliant of rhaenyra to go to the extreme in pursuit of peace, not only does it show the difference between her and aegon, it shows she's taking things seriously, you can see how she feels for haelena losing a child, she's probably thinking lots of mothers will lose her sons in this war, a family dispute has spread into the realm, look at the burning mill for example. This 3rd episode is the end of her hesitation i think, .. war has consequences and it makes me happy to see rhaenyra taking it seriously and understanding the amount of bloodshed dat may be spilled ....rhaenys is showing us just how much the realm has missed of her been a queen, shes very intelligent and the was she carries herself omg, its beautiful. This episode was done so well, they are setting up things property

    I think Helena’s forgiveness is a bit more complex. It’s clear that the Greens question Helena’s mental health and intellect. They clearly don’t acknowledge her abilities. By offering forgiveness she’s doing more than just forgiving her. She is also making it clear that she is aware of what Alicent was doing and that what she was doing was wrong. I’m not sure that Alicent grasped that was something Helena was fully capable of understanding.

I kind of did not like how they made Rhaenyra and Alicent meet again, idk it just didn’t feel right. War is about to start and not to mention Rhaenyra son, Luke was killed by Alicent son. Where’s the anger? Where’s the rage? Where is that Rhaenyra we last saw after finding out her son was killed?? Other then that, it was a great ep😁lol

    7:30 tbf we don't really know what's in the letters Alicent is sending. They could be apologies, or pleas for peace. Something that must have given Rhaenyra the idea that Alicent is open to a parley so that she has some sort of confidence to try talking with her at the end.

  • @Queenofthemall1445
    @Queenofthemall1445 10 дней назад

    I also rewatchrd viserys death episofr he also mentions the words "song ot ice and fire" so when dhe hears rhaengra also say these word's she knows full well that she had only been deluding herself. In the behind the scenes even showeriters said Rhaenyra in this scene is showing how much she cares for her people (smallfolk" she is willing as sovereign to put herself in harms way to try and have a chance of saving the lives of thousands. "A true Queen counts the cost of her people" -words by alicent hightower.
    Yet people are still defending the greens.
    Rhaenyra is the only one who tried EVERYTHING in her power to keep the realm from tearing itself apart. She doesnt want to be Queen for the sake of power she believes it is the duty entrusted to her by her father and ancestors to protect the realm against what will eventually come. The greens aegon alicent otto they want it for power

  • @karlieg451
    @karlieg451 10 дней назад

    Before this episode I didn’t process that Alicent truly thought this was he late husbands last wish I thought she just wanted he son to be king. I guess for me this episode really humanized Alicent for me even though she doesn’t do anything with the info she was given.
    In my opinion I would of rather seen more of the battle of the burning mill than Alicent and Rheanyra get together because I didn’t feel like that scene was necessary, but it was still interesting to watch. Can’t wait for the next episode

  • @monzastark6198

    I’m really interested by Alicent point of view. Like she said no going back. What does she thinking going to happened ? Does he allow to think that family members will still die on both sides? Does she think that the army and dragons will won this war and her children are safe? It's so stupid that she doesn't think of peace like Rhaenyra.

      I think she's knows that she's wrong but there's nothing she can really do to stop it. If her son's and the small council won't listen to her when she's on their side, they're not gonna listen to her when she tells them to give up the throne.

      @@marcg549That was before ep.8 when she told Nyra that she will make a fine queen, which means she changed her mind. It was that dumb prophetie that complicated all of this. Also she knows that Aegon, who lost his son, won't listen, nor would Aemond and Cole.

  • @Aleel-ys4zu

      Because it's the only side to be on. Rhaenyra is the Rightful heir and Aegon is the usurper.

      @@KeeshiexAshNo way, even Condal said that Aegon is more legitimate. He explained in a podcast that Aegon has more claim by Jahaerys council, westeros laws and andal traditions. Rhaenyra's only argument is "I am the heir because my father said it was me" Condal's own words lmao, then he goes on to say that the lords are just bounded by their oath or their fathers oath but they know that Aegon has more claim.
      But the show favors team black alot. And it seems Martin is desappointed by the show and even said now that the show canon is different to the Book canon.
