Being born and bred in Warrington I really loved this video sent to me by a close friend... I'll certainly be spreading the word ... thank you for sharing this 😀
Thank's Kieran I, Remember Wally Barnes & His Books Also As A Champion Fund Raiser For Warrington & Also A Former Paratrooper. A Top-Drawer Video Once Again ! 👍
Born and bred Lower Walton. (1960s/70s ) Never heard about Ginny green teeth. But, we're kept quite as kid's with the tale of the 'Ship Collio Man ' he used to 'Patrol' up and down the Ship Canal at night and take away naughty kid's. 😂😂😂
Love a good ghost story. Graveyard behind our house as kids camping out used to scare the s@#* out of us. We used to have red cloggs, similar story to ginny greenteeth. Anyway loved the spooky bimble. Peace, love and bimblism.
Comment 2 ! As you look down the railway arches towards Asda… There used to be a boss music store called Back Alley Music… I bought my 2003 Rickenbacker 330 in there !!! Jus sayin like
I really enjoyed this. Halloween stuff usually turns me right off (I'm of the generation that regards it as a cacky USA import) but you've turned my bias on its head. The dark figures at 12:20 and 12:50, then those poor people lurching away from you by The Ferry Tavern have made me think that Jamie-Lee Curtis may have been onto sumfink. Cheers 👍🏼
Always loved Wally barnes we have 3 of his books at my nans , might take a look at these spots. I like the story of them twins on the the two girls in Walton gardens spotted on a little bridge

Need that book
I don't believe it - I have both of those books and met Wally at a book signing years ago! Spring heeled Jack was my fave :)
You're sat on a gold mine on eBay:)
Love this Gr8 humour like me very dry 😅
Forgot to say - Wally's stories used to be serialised in the Warrington Guardian, he was a bit of a local legend wasn't he?
Will you be doing another Halloween special for 2023?
I hope so all bring well. :)
