But the language barrier is huge there, even for Chinese, because people tend to speak local language (Cantonese) more than mandarin. So I’d suggest hiring a guide online. And given ShenZhen is a new-born city, there isn’t much traditional culture there, just pure modern and futuristic, so the food there is shitty comparing to the cities around it, especially ShunDe. But funny enough, due to many workers there are from HuNan Province, there are actually a log of decent HuNan food there😂😂😂. Enjoy Southern China culture there, especially in GuangZhou, you’ll like it
