      @Pastor Paul D Sorry, but some people just are not long for this world. Randy was one of those people. Your religious beliefs narrows your thinking, and doesn't allow for you to see anything outside of the box concerning that work of fiction known as the Bible.

    Randy could shred, was melodic, creative, COULD WRITE A SONG, knew and practiced music theory, had fantastic tone and catchy riffs, looked amazing, had great guitars, great composed guitar solos, and could play soft, slow and with lots of heart. Along with Eddie Van Halen, Page, Townshend, Hendrix, beck, and Iommi, he’s a legend and just as good if not better.

      SmackaTiger _ Yeah that Solo on Little Dolls according to Randy in another interview explained that it was just a scratch guitar solo which he intended to go back later and put down the Solo he was gona work out but since CBS was wanting something to be released in Europe before the 1st US tour to Support Blizzard Randy was pressed for time and could not get the solo he actually wanted on Little Dolls so Max Norman had no choice but to leave that scratch solo on the album.

    Randy is the best "lead" guitarist in the history of rock n roll. I've been playing guitar for 34 years now, since I was a kid, so I know what I'm talking about. I can duplicate any guitarist that's ever played. Randy, to this day, is the most difficult to duplicate note for note.

    • @joemamma416
      @joemamma416 5 лет назад +3

      randy was an incredible guitar player but i was playing those solos note for note as a teenager along with eddie van halens. rhoads was my favorite guitar player and biggest influence but cmon man. guys like michael battio are light years ahead of anything that happened in the early 80s. what made randy so special was his musicianship and grasp of theory that most guitar players don't comprehend. just because somethings difficult for you doesn't mean it is for me and vice versa. saying anyone is the greatest player on an instrument is too subjective to be taken seriously.

    • @deeno1114
      @deeno1114 5 лет назад +7

      Randy was the goat. The only people who even know who Michael Angelo batio is are guitar players. The general public knows Randy’s name and that says it all. Those songs are unmatched even today. The proof is in the record sales.

    • @frozendivots1564
      @frozendivots1564 4 года назад +3

      Joe Mamma guys aren’t light years ahead of Randy. Just because they work on speed 23 hours a day doesn’t make them better. Randy was a complete player. Total grasp of theory and a great song writer and could shred if he wanted to.

    • @JoeR203
      @JoeR203 3 года назад +1

      Listen to the first 4 White Lion albums. Vito Bratta's work is pretty difficult to match note for note. RUclips is full of guys who nail EVH and others note for note. But you can count on one hand (and still have fingers left over) the number of people who can nail Vito's stuff note for note.

    I myself, ponder what would be if he didn't get on the plane often. He is surely missed for sure. Which is amazing to think about the impact this little "giant" made on the world of music and guitar for such a young and short time. It does warm the heart to see that he is not forgotten and that he is celebrated constantly by fans and that his fan base grows more and more each year. It is also amazing to see so many young kids on youtube playing Randy's songs and talking about what an inspiration Randy is to them. Brings me back to my youth in the early to mid 80's. 36 years and his music still continues generation to generation.. That's amazing!

      Yeah weird how the Osbourne family..in particular Sharon... hasn't done crap to keep Randy's legacy, memory and history anywhere close to where it should be. His fans Still love him but imho..it might be mean but Randy had so much more to live for and to offer than Ozz. But I especially feel that way due to the way he's been so shit on and barely a peep out of them over the years about Randy..who Ozz called his best friend and who let's face it..as much as Ozzy did for Randy..by giving him the freedom to play whatever he wanted .. Randy did so much more for Ozz..he was finally able to play to the best of his abilities..Quiet Riot held him back bigtime cause they wanted to stay on the sorta cheesy side of metal. And what Randy and especially Bob Daisley created for Ozz.. since he had no hand in any of the music...they saved his career .. those two albums completely changed the course of metal from then on. Anyhow, my point is...if anyone cares.. Sharon etc still 39 years later hasn't released the footage of the shows she had professionally filmed on the Diary tour with Randy! That's a FACT!! 100% Three camera crew on a bunch of shows. It pisses me off so much cause there's so little clear footage of Randy.. And they know it but don't care. The large majority of stuff talked about Ozzy ..is the first two albums.. and maybe a couple after. Bark and ultimate sin were decent. Jake E Lee was smokin. But anyhow.. Sharon shits on Randy even more cause Bob Daisley has what's called The Holy Grail. Hours of beautiful recordings and films with Randy working on the gtr parts, writing the songs, jammin, messing around with his new found Fame...yet always remaining so humble. So Sharon owns freakin anything that Randy played on for or with Ozz. Bob wanted to release the total historical treasure trove of material...on the rag lady evil offered him peanuts for the whole lot. Such bullshit and petty greedy garbage. It was more important for her to screw Bob rather than doing the right thing for the Gtr player and gem of a human being who launched Ozzy into the stratosphere!! It's a travesty and injustice to Randy's legacy that they could have easily made a documentary/ Biopic and released at least one freakin show! There's so much more to the story.. pardon me for going on...it just still bugs the hell out of me that it'll take a miracle to ever see any of it!

    There was a rare interview of someone saying that they saw the black 58 yr old seamstress hunched over the pilot with Randy trying to pull her off of him. That person speculated that the 58 year seamstress had a heart attack and somehow slump over on the pilot which caused the pilot to swoop down towards the ground. Perhaps Randy did get the lady off of the pilot, but not in time to allow the pilot to avoid clipping Ozzy's bus with the wing. If this is true, had the bus only been parked 50 feet away we may still have Randy with us today. ....very tragic.
